  • I think birth plans are awesome, I have had my entire plan written out since we first started ttc. I don't agree with csections being considered births or deliveries, to me it's an insult to mothers that actually did birth their children. Csections are surgical extractions and should be referred to as such. I'm dreading telling work I'm pregnant because I don't want people asking how I'm feeling everyday.
And what if said c-section mama had no choice but to have this "surgical extraction" because her child's life was in danger?  I take HUGE offense to this bolded part.

    1. You've obviously never been in the position of losing your baby if you didn't have her "surgically extracted". 2. Go f*** yourself. 3. I've talked to plenty of moms who had their babies vaginally, and they've said there's no way they could have had a csection cause the recovery is horrible! So stfu. And anything in which your baby is born into the world is considered a birthing experience or delivery.
Ha!  I guess I should have read through all the posts.  Thank you @jaclynnn for posting this.  You read my mind

  • @redrosepinkdaisy You need Jesus.
Religious freedom, don't push your beliefs on other people.
Yet you are pushing your religious beliefs on your own future child by refusing a c/s or any medical intervention, not vaccinating, and who knows what else. And your baby isn't old enough to even have a say. Fabulous.

  • Lurking from Jan 14 ... you ladies are making history!!!

My first thought for redrosepinkdaisy was Scientology ... but after doing some googling, even they believe that should a C-section be necessary, it should be done, as goes with the paid medications. They are more about a Silent Birth.

I am curious as to what this cray cray's higher power is!!

So Christians that raise their children in that faith are forcing that on their child as well? Give me a freakin break. As parents we make decisions for our children until they are capable of making their own choices.
  • I hear cult.

For the record I am not in a cult! I'm actually not a part of any largely organized religion. We are just part of a small circle of likeminded individuals whom support and seek support from one another. We share the same beliefs and ideals and consider each other our spiritual family circle. We believe in a Higher Power as a force which guides us. Our lives are predetermined and we no not intend to intervene. Also computers are allowed being that they have nothing directly to do with my body and keeping it as pure and close to its original state as possible.

  • @redrosepinkdaisy You've answered other's questions. When will you answer mine? I'm dying to know who this "we" is you keep referring to. Is it your husband, your sister wives, the cult circle, Tim? Andplusalso, I agree with pp. You definitely have the insanes.

HAHAHA I love how Tim got thrown into this thread!! That just made my day!

    FFS you suck.
My opinion and I'm entitled to it, that is what this post is intended for, right?
I try not to get involved with these posts, but I couldn't not respond to this. I am so offended by your "opinion". With my son I labored for 24 very long hours, pushed for over 4 hours, and ended up with an EMERGENCY c-section. Does this mean that I am less of a mom because I didn't "birth" my child? I'm sorry that my unborn child's life was more important that having a "real birth". You are a moron.

I bet @redrosepinkdaisy spits cum all over the sidewalk. Everywhere.
But only if it's divinely inspired spitting.
Probably not. It's probably a sin for cum to go anywhere that isn't a vagina.

J14 here! Have a little song just because I think it is hilarious and fits this comment perfectly.

    ETA: Hot damn it worked!

@rrrd just stay out of the South please. We have enough problems without your level of ignorant.
  • Sorry not everyone believes in modern medicine being the healer of all. We live as naturally as possible when it comes to medicine and we intend to follow our same path with this pregnancy. Apoligies to those who were offended, the choices I make may not be for everyone but they are mine to make and I own that.
Based on this comment I have a question for you...Say your child becomes ill some day. Can we assume that you will not take your child to the dr? I guess I'm curious to know where you draw the line. Are you against all medical interventions/medications/etc.? More specifically, say your infant ends up with RSV (God forbid), would you be unwilling to use nebulizer treatments to save your infant's life? I just can't fathom not using modern medicine to save my child's life...

@redrosepinkdaisy- so now you are saying that Christians, who give their children a choice not only to live but to decided if they want to stay Christian, are like your cult....I have been nice to you before...Now it's one Bitch. Fuck off, and go back to your damn cult.

    You're a waste of space.
  • I wanted to be done with this but I see you sll won't let it go. For everyone saying I will be begging for drugs that will not happen.I will not give birth in an environment where drugs are available. For me that type environment would not be conducive to freeing my mind for birth.
    You have a mind?
    You're a fucking idiot.

    I concur!

Trust me OP, you are a moron. Had I not had a c section DS would have died. I hope that in the middle of labor with your child you don't hear the doctor say that your child's heart has stopped beating. That was the single most scary moment of my life. Thank god for "extractions" otherwise mine and millions of other children would die. And trust me, I gave birth to my child and have the scars to prove it.

    Idiot.
