When you have trouble TTC and are on a board feel of people with trouble, it really helps to keep stories straight so I don't mind them. I'm not really sure how this is different than the people that have a ticker for each kid they were lucky enough to have.

Thanks! I actually am proud of myself. I wish I never would have picked it up again after DS was born (don't worry, it was way after and I didn't breast feed, he's 3 now) and this PG was a surprise and we are thrilled. I quit because I WAS taking responsibility for myself and DH quit too. I didn't use patches or medications and plan on it being a lifetime change. Not that It's anyone's business, but no, I have never miscarried, and I'm sorry for all if the ladies out there who have. However, I'm a fantastic mother so I don't see CPS anywhere in my future

@redrosepinkdaisy, I elected to have a csection even before ttc for important medical reasons. And I will happily have another RCS for my second and third child should I decide to have them.

And I say with 100% confidence, I am 10 times the mother and woman you will ever be.

Ok first off thank you for distracting me from having my head down the toilet all morning.

Secondly it's so nice to know that by providing CPR and life saving medical intervention at work everyday I am going against God's wishes. I'm catholic and was of the understanding that the development of technology and medical interventions was for the survival of the human race, now I'm more educated that we should ignore it all and just die off.

I guess I better ring work and resign. No need to go in and actually help save lives, it's against God's wishes y'all.

I didn't make it through all of this thread but I just wanted to leave my two bits:

I went through 18 hrs of labor without an epidural to find out I only dilated to a 2. Finally got the epidural when my blood pressure plummeted and my baby's heart rate dropped to almost nothing. You bet your damn pants I'm going to save her life and birth her a different way than I had intended. She is a beautiful girl and I wouldn't change a thing about my c-section.

My sister in law had hellp syndrome (severe preeclampsia) and had to have a c-section at 27 weeks pregnant to save her and her sweet baby. The baby has now been in the nicu for two months and blesses the lives of all who see her tiny, frail body but giant spirit.

I thank God for our precious babies and He gives us knowledge and technology to further bless our lives.

My Doctor saved my life and the life of my 36 weeker by giving me a C-section. I felt that was a better situation than me bleeding out from Placenta Previa and my baby dying as well. 

BTW: I'm still calling MUD.

Should they just not bother with getting pregnant because they can not have it vaginally? You come in here guns a blazing, come back in 7-8 months when you hopefully have the kid. And when I say hopefully I mean that should the need arise to have a c-section I hope for your sake you take it. Placing it in gods hands is one thing being an idiot is anther, I hope you talk to your religious leader about this maybe they can set your ass straight. BTW are you planning on having this baby at home, because I know no hospital will allow you to refuse a c-section and they will just wait until you are passed out and then it become implied consent and they will do everything in their power to save your life and your childs life. They can do that too because a birth plan is not a binding advanced directive, I hope you get a clue before your kid is born life is not always going to go as planned ad god only helps those who help themselves. I just read all 20 pages of this.....wow! I came here to post my UO, which I still plan on getting to, but first:

I don't know anyone who just hoped and prayed for a  C-section, but all of the mothers that I know that have required one have hoped and prayed that their baby would be safe and healthy. I certainly am hoping for a vaginal birth, but after carrying this baby for 9 months, I can guarantee that I would absolutely not choose an option that would kill my child or myself. I sincerely hope that you don't have to make that decision, because I think that you are too uneducated to make the right choice. It is not a matter of opinion, but a matter of fact. You DO NOT choose to kill a baby that you carried to term. Birth is birth regardless of method. How did you not know that you would be crucified here? You did....and you did it on purpose. There is no new day for you. No one will forgive you....EVER. On top of all of that, what if your child is having a medical issue? I have a son who required heart surgery to SAVE HIS LIFE. He was 10 months old at the time. Would you decline a life saving surgery for your child? I don't know if you have children or not, but if this is your first, I guarantee you will leave your cult/group/religion/small spiritual circle to save the child's life. I know lots of women don't quit but go on to have healthy babies. No, it is not a great thing. However, the woman you are bashing so hard did quit. She did the best she could. Shame on you. This is my last pregnancy and I am no longer a college student struggling financially. I intend to buy all kinds of new things for this baby and enjoy the shopping and decorating. I am so tired of people telling me the instant that they find out I am pregnant that I should go to consignment stores to buy all of my things. Then, when I politely decline, they incessantly inform me of how much money I can save and blah, blah,  blah. I simply want to do all the things I couldn't before and I don't think I should be judged or labeled as stuck up because of it. I have no problem with used items, I'm just looking forward to picking and buying all of my own things!

Sweet! I'll go tell my 16 yo cousin with an unplanned pregnancy to go smoke some cigs and it will make it all better.  Seriously, don't you think if there was ANYTHING that directly caused miscarriages there would be a lot less abortions, unwanted pregnancies in the world?
