Re: UO

  • UO: I think people should be able to post an UNPOPULAR opinion without people jumping on the first bandwagon to hitch a ride against them. Key word here: UNPOPULAR.

    Oh boy. Have fun.

It is #2 on the list. As a mom who has suffered miscarriage, I cannot fathom why anyone would knowing harm their unborn child. To me this is just as bad as "no Caesarian" lady.

  • The responsible thing to do is quit before getting KU. If she did suffer MC in the past, now we know why. All I'm saying is, take some responsibility...your creating a helpless human life!
    Oh no you didn't!
Oh yes I did...read a medical journal. Smoking causes MC and still birth.
    ::lurking::

And what caused my stillborns and MCs, because I sure as hell didn't smoke till they happened to me.

  • I think birth plans are awesome, I have had my entire plan written out since we first started ttc. I don't agree with csections being considered births or deliveries, to me it's an insult to mothers that actually did birth their children. Csections are surgical extractions and should be referred to as such. I'm dreading telling work I'm pregnant because I don't want people asking how I'm feeling everyday.

I don't normally like to participate in this silly dramatic posts, but I would like to say that you are totally full of it. You have absolultey no clue what you are talking about. C-sections are not always by choice and sometimes done because the child's life is in danger. The way a child enters the world does not determine the birth's validity.

  • Lurking from A13. I'm so glad that I'll be able to wish my beautiful, ALIVE daughter a happy extraction day. After I went tachycardic and her heartbeat disappeared and came back at 30bpm, I went for an EMERGENCY csection. Not my plan, but it saved our lives. Redrose stfu. You're a mega douche.

Silly @redrosepinkdaisy, do you think c-sections are easy? How many people do you know that actually had them? Do you shun those women now?

What exactly about my choice to have a c-section so that my baby that I carried for 9 months and a few days didn't DIE insults you? If you need to call my baby's birth a "surgical extraction" to protect your sensitivities, go for it. I know when my baby was born and I thank and praise God that she is here, alive and healthy. I thank him for the amazing and wonderful medical professionals who dedicated their lives to learning how to assist with such complicated births as mine and many of the other amazing moms on TB, the BMBs, and specifically July '13 (I'm looking at you @MaryAnneSpier, @2012ames, @sdtchica13, and all the rest of you... you know who you are.) Without the wisdom that God gave these people, we might not have our amazing little blessings in our arms.
We all have our beliefs and for our family it does not include medical intervention or surgical procedures. I feel it's rude that members here have lashed out without knowing me, my background or any of my reasoning.
Wait. So what happens if your kid doesn't come out of your vagina? Are you prepared to kill yourself and your child?
In that situation we would place our lives in the hands of Our Highest Power. In a life or death situation man simply can not alter the intended fate, that can only be done thru divine intervention. If death was our intended fate it would occur irregardless of a csection. Anyway this is an opinion post, several others have stated theirs so why don't all the critics go pick those apart too.
Sorry not everyone believes in modern medicine being the healer of all. We live as naturally as possible when it comes to medicine and we intend to follow our same path with this pregnancy. Apoligies to those who were offended, the choices I make may not be for everyone but they are mine to make and I own that.
Tell me, @redrosepinkdaisy, with these beliefs, how many babies do you know in your little group (cult) do you know of whose mothers are dead because of this belief? How many mothers do you know of in your group had to hold a cold, dead baby in their arms and bury that baby after a horrible, painful, or extremely overdue pregnancy? Do you need more than your own hands to count them? I hope you are never faced with the need to choose between your beliefs and your baby's well-being, because I'm afraid your baby might suffer from the choices you would make.

If death is your intended fate, why not go for broke and do everything you can to keep you AND your baby alive?

    1. The miscarriage smoking lady...grow the F up.  It is extremely horrible to say that she deserves a miscarriage. Also, CPS has a ton of more shit to take care of than a Mother who wasn't able to quit smoking for 9 weeks. Also, no one ever deserves to lose a child. No one.

    2. To the "higher power lady", what sort of drugs are you on? Like for real? You have to be in a cult, because no religion that I know of would ever think it's okay to kill a child.
I never once said she deserves a miscarriage. Get your facts straight. I said smoking is a cause for miscarriage...who knew that a smoking pregnant woman wouldn't be an unpopular opinion.
