NBR i cant stop crying...

DH and i went and looked at our dream home today ( we live with my rents to save money right now) it is in our price range and just perfect! We got all excited! called Mortgage Broker she emailed us payment it was right where we needed it to be, then got to looking and the property taxes werent in the quote, call her back. It added $135/mo to payment, so we def cant afford it. Im devestated=(

Im so ready to move out of here and be on our own and to start a NURSERY! And we got our hopes up (mostly me) and now im so sad.

Vent over i guess... Crying

  • Can you make a slightly lower offer that will make up the difference?

  • The home is in the process of being built so its brand spanking new and someone already offered close to asking price, so for us to win or have a chance we would have to offer asking (which isnt a bad price). The taxes are what screwed us, they are sooo much more than we thought, even our broker said WTH!

Im being a baby about it really, but it is disappointing ya kno?

This. see if this could work!

  • I finally moved out of my in-laws house when I was 33 weeks after 6 months of saving and then not being able to buy a house because of our lack of a credit history. We each only had 1 credit card, bought out cars out right and had no other "bills" really, since we are just starting out...or were just starting out. ::sigh::

Right now, we're renting a 3bd 2bt that is owned by my grandmother.

Its disappointing but you'll ge through this and it will be so worth it once you do find that home you can afford. GL.
