Hello ladies I'm Kris. 29 years old living in Oklahoma with my fiancé and 3 amazing kids. DD1 is 8, DS1 is 2, and DD2 is 9 months. I'm socially awkward and play way to way too much Xbox. Was a member of the June 2017 birthclub and am quite surprised to be back on here with another so soon
Hi Ladies! Late to this board-my calculation for EDD is 10/31, first appointment 3/24, hoping to hear a heartbeat by then! DH and I have a DS May'15 and a fur baby. Nervous about bringing a new baby into family with a VERY spirited 3YO! We have to renovate to add a bedroom before EDD, and I'm a SAHM. This should be fun! We live in SD, CA and I enjoy gardening and neighborhood strolls. Looking forward to GTKY'all!
Woohoo, at last a fellow San Diegan! I have a very energetic 2.5 year old, also a bit worried about his current struggles with being soft and gentle.
I’m in my 9th week (Due Oct. 21), 3rd pregnancy, and have 2 sons. My SO and I have been together for 6 years. Our sons are 5 and 4. I’m a SAHM and my youngest starts Kindergarten in September. I got into college (ECE distance studies) and still plan to follow through with it starting September as well. I live in Ontario, Canada.
I’m looking forward to this journey and chatting with you all along the way!!!
Hi ladies! My name is Chelsea. Expecting our second baby (EDD 10/13). Our first DD turned 2 last month. We live in CA, and I am a hairstylist. This first trimester has been super rough, and my energy levels finally feel like they are picking up! Its been hard keeping up with my toddler, and my anxiety has been awful this pregnancy, which it was nonexistant in my first. I have a strong feeling we are having another girl lol. We are going to announce to our whole family at our Easter get together(12 weeks on 31st). Most of my friends, mom, and MIL know (and know to keep their mouths shut lol) but I am too excited to keep it all to myself for 12 weeks. But SO is adamant about keeping it from his family due to our chemical pregnancy that ended NYE. We concieved again right away. We have had 4 ultrasounds, the latest being this past Friday and everything looks wonderful so far. Anyways thanks for taking time to read my ramble lol. It's great to have this community to turn to and read other people's experiences.
I'm a first time Mom due October 5th! I am from MA, living on the south shore. My husband and I found out we were expecting on January 22nd. It took us a little while to get pregnant and had some complications trying to conceive, so I've been nervous throughout the first trimester-- Which is why I am late to joining this board.
Thankful to be soon heading into the second trimester and excited for the journey ahead!
Hi all! My name is Shawna. I’m from Boston, MA and am pumped to be having a fall baby! I am 9 weeks today (EDD 10/24/18). This will be my second, I am already a mom to a very energetic and loving almost-two-year-old boy. My first time around I joined a BMB and became very close friends with a group of the women so I hope this time is just as great.
great to meet you all!
@kried I’m also from MA, North Shore Congratulations!
I am late to the party as I have been waiting for my first appointment/confirmation before posting. My husband and I have a 3 year boy, and this new little one is expected October 8. I live in small town Kansas, work as a hair stylist and enjoy anything outdoors and cooking and trying new foods. I have generalized anxiety and am trying to keep my mental health in check and watch for PPD which i had last time. We are excited to see our family grow and adjusting to our new normal!
@chelseamomof2 hello fellow anxious hairstylist! Lol i know what you mean about anxiety really bad and no energy whatsoever. Are you working long shifts or able to take breaks? My feet are dead after a Saturday.
Hi everyone! I am a PGAL mom, and we expecting our second baby. (8th pregnancy, 8 years of infertility and loss before our son, and 1 loss before this baby). Due October 29th. This pregnancy is going to be nerve wracking for sure. We had a loss in January, and got pregnant again before my next cycle. Dr is cautiously optimistic, as everything seems to be going well! I waited until our second repeat ultrasound came back healthy before joining, hoping to be able to stay in the group this time.
Turning 30 in April, married for 10 years this year. My son is a July '16 baby, and I enjoyed having a community while pregnant with him. I'm a Midwest SAHM, and look forward to getting to know you ladies!
Hello everyone my name is Lydia. My husband and I live outside Nashville, TN. I’m a first time mom due October 24th (my wedding anniversary). I’ve been lurking since the end of Feb but didn’t want to post until after my first doctor visit. I’m nervous because I’m labeled high risk due to my age, BMI and diabetes but I’m doing everything I need to. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
@debbyjane I'm trying to take as many breaks as possible, and limiting my double booking! (On a break right now lol) I just need to make sure that I make time to eat! By the end of the day I just shove all the junk into my mouth haha!
Hi everyone! I'm a ftm with a due date of October 15th. I've had a rocky first trimester so far with a few big scares, but the baby keeps growing at a healthy pace with a healthy heartbeat, so the doctors are no longer worried. It's still taking a while for me, though! I'm just starting to feel a bit more secure in this pregnancy. In the meantime, morning sickness is kicking my butt! I look forward to being a part of a supportive community and getting to know you all, and learn both from and with you. This whole thing is such a crazy miracle!
I am a 39 years old from Wisconsin. We just found out that my due date is the very last day of the month...October 31st. This is my second pregnancy, the first I miscarried. I am trying to stay optimistic, but must admit that's it's been hard. So far it's been rough. I started getting nausea a couple weeks ago and came down with a cold this week, so that might be why I haven't been able to kick these negative feeling. My husband and I have been trying for the past 5-6 years without luck until now! Up until this point together we have only had fur babies, 2 dogs and 1 chinchilla (our 2nd chinny passed a couple months ago). My husband does have 2 kids from previous relationships, they are 12 & 17, who we spend as much time with as possible. I am sure I will have lots of questions for you all!
Hi all, My name is Jess and we are expecting our first little one October 21st!
This will be our this pregnancy (first ended in still birth around 22 weeks and second ended in MC this past December). Hopeful for our first baby to stick around!
Hi Ladies, I'm Jené! I'm 26 and living in Florida. I am currently expecting my second child, due 10-29-18. DS will be 7 next month and I homeschool him while also working full-time. He is very excited to know that he is finally set to be a big brother!
Just to mention, I was heavily active on the boards wwaaayyyy back in 2011 and 2012, and just a bit in 2013. I lurked on and off for a while in the years after that before becoming inactive on the site. I'm surprised I even remembered my password to log back in after all this time lol.
Hey ladies! Currently pregnant with my 3rd, I have 2 children already, aged 15 and 10. Got to say I'm quite nervous this time round, being as it took me and my SO over a year to concieve. I had a chemical miscarriage last November and it's also been a long 10 years since my last pregnancy! Got my first scan booked for next week Nice to meet you all, wishing you all a smooth pregnancy and hope we speak soon!
Hi - I am from MD, and this is my first time pregnant and a bit scared still! I’m 11 weeks today. DD Oct. 15.
I work full time and am about to graduate from law school in a few months after a long 4 years of attending classes every night after work; so trying my best to curb my stress levels and get excited!
I will be married for 5 years in May, and we have a giant lovable Great Dane/pit mix who hasn’t left my side and snuggles next to my stomach the past few weeks like he knows his “brother/sister” is there.
Hi all! I’m a FTM and I live with my husband and our Maine Coon mix, Munch. We are currently living in RI for my husbands post-doctoral work, but we are originally from AZ. It’s been a little difficult embarking on this journey thousands of miles from all our friends and family, so I’m especially glad to be joining this community!
Hey guys! I was part of the dec 16 board but wasn’t very active! My fiancé and I are beyond excited to add our last addition to our family. Together we have 4 boys! A 12 year old, an 8 year old, a 5 year old, and a 16 month old! EDD is October 25th! This has been very emotional pregnancy so far. I thought for sure I miscarried at 6 weeks but the little bean was still in there. I’ve been bleeding on and off for 3 weeks and the doctors have no idea why! But my last appointment we got another ultrasound and baby is growing and moving around!!
This is my first pregnancy - due date October 10th.
I live in Canada and I enjoy sleeping a lot. Haven't had many pregnancy symptoms.. At first my breasts got sore, but I feel like they are back to normal. I'm noticing sometimes I have to get up at night to pee. And this past weekend I got dizzy twice. I just hope the pregnancy is going ok since I'm not really feeling much.
I don't really know the etiquette here, if there is one to be followed. . To be honest I'm not even sure I'm getting notifications on my replies. But I think introducing myself here might mean I'll notice more notifications lol.
I'm starting my 12th week tomorrow so I'm excited to end the first timester soon. My jeans are starting to get a bit tighter.. But I'm really excited to actually start showing.
Questions :
When did u start showing the first time around? - my belly pretty soft still but bigger, so I'm assuming it's just bloating, but when I stand I can feel that it's gotten firmer. Does this mean that's the baby getting bigger??
When did u ladies start feeling flutters?
How have ur first time pregnancies been?
Is there anything I should know, ask, be doing...?
I've been lurking on this page for 2 weeks but have was only able to post starting today, sorry for being a little late to the party!
This is my first ever pregnancy and I'm very excited, although still a little in disbelief. Due Date is October 28th (hoping to avoid and actual Halloween delivery but I'll be over the moon either way!)
Originally from a small town in Oregon but moved to Colorado right out of high school to attend college. I currently own my own business as a personal chef and nutritionist. Always happy to answer your food questions!
My husband and I have been married for just over a year and live in a suburb of Denver with our two dogs, Cannon and Tillie.
So excited to experience this journey with all of you! Here's to a lot of happy and healthy pregnancies and beautiful little babies.
Im due Oct. 22nd with LO #3. I have two sons, one just turned three and my youngest is 15 months old. I’m both terrified and excited for number three!
I live in Anchorage, Alaska and I work in film/television production. I am currently substituting my love for wine and sushi with decaf green tea and overpriced French macrons. I’m looking forward to sharing this adventure with all of you! Congrats to all❤️
Ok all I swore I did an intro but mommy brain is making me question that so I’ll do one either for the first time or again (?)
STM here, have a three year old daughter. Live with her, Dh, 17 year old rescue cat in a Boston suburb. I work in the city for a nonprofit org on their finance team. I’m ama this time around so participating a lot there, and I also had ppd/ppa with my daughter so happy to share and experiences that might help others.
I am mostly active with my original bump group from first pregnancy but looking forward to meeting folks due in oct to commiserate! I appreciate that so far this board seems to be made up of people who are pretty realistic and on occasion snarky. I’m not the sunshine and rainbows type. Happy Friday!
I'm a little late to the group, but I'm glad to be here! My husband and I got married May '17 and have been together for 6 years. This is our first child and we couldn't be more excited! EDD is Oct. 27th. Cannot wait to get to the second trimester since my morning sickness has been so bad. I've literally tried everything in the book and nothing works
