Re: Symptoms Week of 3/26

  • 12 weeks 6 days

I am still feeling pretty crappy. Still throwing up. I am getting small breaks some times, but it’s still a daily problem. The last week had been exhausting and I definitely feel worse when I’m tired. Maybe I can catch up this week.

I was hoping I was done with nausea, I felt decent yesterday. This morning, not so much. I'm struggling to fall asleep at night, which sucks. And I'm so tired today. At least this sinus thing is finally leaving, so that helps!
  • 13 weeks.

Round ligament pain at random times.

Had a burst of energy over the weekend, but dreading the work week...again.
  • 12 weeks

I thought I was past the nausea but it hit me again yesterday. But it's definitely better, not 24/7 anymore, just at times.

But now I started with lots of round ligament pain. This is my 2nd child and I literally popped in the past 2 days so I think we just had a growth spurt which is why I am getting so much stretching pain. Also I started having that pelvic floor pain a bit last night already! I don't remember that until way later in my last pregnancy.

I still have the on and off nausea but it isn’t constant so that’s good. I’m still tired most of the time, but I have been making it to 9pm the last week so that is also an improvement! No new symptoms in the last week. My pants are getting tighter by the day...they fit in the morning when I’m standing up and by mid-day they are so tight I have to unbutton them. I bought a Bella band last week and so far it’s awesome!

  • Thanks @sammierose464 ! I’ve been up since 4:30...
  • I’m 10w 1d and I’ve been all good since about 9w 3d.. before that my boobs were sooo sore, I was pretty nauseous all day and had 1 day of not being able to keep any food down.
I’m waiting for it to hit me again.

Nausea now comes and goes, which is a pleasant change from the non stop that its been for the past 6 weeks!  The weird one i have now is my lower back clicks when i walk.  It did it last pregnancy too, but not until 3rd tri.  I feel like everyone can hear it when i walk and i am super self conscious, lol!
  • 12w5d

Generally, my appetite has returned, but some foods still taste wrong, and I still am only eating 2/3rds of what I did pre-pregnancy. I am also a lot more conscious of when I haven’t eaten and need to do so.

Definitly dealing with more round ligament pain on and off.

Also, early bedtime sucks, especially when you are at a thing and all your friends are staying up until 2am

I'm not really nauseous anymore but still exhausted.  I feel like I can't get caught up with anything, like I'm behind in sleep, work, house work and taking care of myself.  I'm getting super impatient for second trimester energy and its wearing on me mentally.  I want to be back to feeling like myself!  I also need the sore boobs to end.

@sliztee Your energy burst is giving me hope that mine is around the corner!

How many weeks are you? 11 weeks 2 days

How you feeling? Still sick most days, picking up my prescription meds today. I don't throw up every day and it's just random. And of course, the exhaustion is still there.

    Any new symptoms? Nope
  • 11w today.

Feeling much of the same, 24/7 nausea but not as bad...

So I thought it was just because I ate too much at lunch on Thursday, but HOLY @#$&!? the bloating is unreal. Anyone else randomly get huge and bloaty around 10.5 weeks? My high waisted jeans were fine in the AM and then by 2 pm I wanted to take them off.  I was a little bloated weeks 6 thru 9, but nothing like this. (PS I don't think I'm constipated. That's a normal life struggle for me so I know what it feels like  ;))
  • @jemmerjams Might be sproutin' that bump, girl!
  • 10w 4d Tired, but feeling so much better this week (which naturally worries me). Eating better but had very little nausea before anyway. Had some lower back pain and my clothes are really uncomfortable, but overall feel great!

Not very nauseous anymore which is so exciting!! But man have I been bloated! Thankfully my pants still fit because they were a bit big before pregnancy. I can't wait for it to get warmer so I can buy flowy dresses instead of more jeans I'll wear for a few months.
Tmi but definitely constipated which sucks.. I used to be able to go sometimes twice a day and now I'm lucky to go every two or three days! Hoping that gets better and not worse..

New symptoms? Random side pains almost like a cramp that lasts a couple seconds then disappears.

My nausea is still sticking around kicking my ass. I don't have much of an appetite just want small meals here and there. I took a 3 hour nap yesterday I was just so exhausted!

I do feel like my bump has gotten smaller actually, I think some of that bloat is starting to go away and starting to form a real 'baby bump'  :)
  • 9w6d
Not are if the nausea is really homebody or if the cold symptoms are just overshadowing it. The sense of smell came back today, so we’ll see if the nausea returns with it. Hope not.

And everything tastes super salty. It’s weird.
  • 9weeks 3 days today!

I started to have some slight on and off cramps today. I think it's normal, but still a little frightening.

My symptoms are virtually gone. I didn't really have any symptoms with DS either. I've seen baby'S HB and the baby moving around on ultrasound, so I'm trying not to stress too much about it.
  • 12w6d

feeling ok. I get about a 2 hour spurt of energy in the am and that’s about it. Random bouts of nausea. Waking in the middle of the night starving and up for a few hours

new: apparently my stomach no longer can handle yogurt bleh

Feeling better. Morning sickness is almost non existent, except for the few times I over eat or smell something reaaally bad and upsets my tummy. But even then I don't vomit. My boobs are getting so bad I can't even walk down the stairs without them hurting. My dreams are finally letting up on me, for now.
Recently noticed the super smell is getting more frequent. I had it early on and it's been gone for a few weeks. The past few days I can literally smell everything.
And, the constipation is still very, very real...

Edit: Wow, did I speak too soon.. I've had my head in the toilet for the past hr. Completely out of no where

Feeling almost normal, the tiredness hasn't been quite so bad. But other than that, just feeling so much stretching and pulling and "growing pains". Saturday I thought I was really starting to get a bump, but then yesterday and today it's back down, so must've been bloat. But I'm definitely getting rounder and rounder. I know it's close.
  • @jemmerjams my gas so bad today, my belly was hard.

ETA: Totes didn't mean to dump this short-story on the thread. Let me know if this needed/needs to be in it's own thread or better suited for a different place!

Had a scary night/day. DH and I went out of town for the weekend to a giant atv park. I rode my four wheeler like I had mentioned in other threads but only for about 15 minutes tops, I didn't ride in the front, and we went super slow and mostly just stayed on flat roads to travel to and from our camp. Other than that I was in a truck where we went over some bumps and hills but nothing crazy. I had some mild cramping over the weekend that would come and go but I mostly attributed it to gas pains/eating junk all weekend. Anyway we got home last night, I sit down on our bed after taking a shower, get up, and there's blood all under where I was sitting. I panicked, cried, went to the bathroom and more blood. I wasn't having any pain so I decided to just put on a pad and go to bed since at this point it's near midnight, and if I was miscarrying then there wasn't anything the doctor was going to be able to do for me. Anyway I woke up this morning and DH and I decided to go on to the emergency room at around 6:30am just in case it was an ectopic pregnancy. They didn't have u/s equipment but did blood work and a pelvic exam. Everything was good from that point, but they weren't able to confirm that the pregnancy is where it needs to be due to not doing an ultrasound. I was given the option to be transferred to another ER in another town, or wait for my u/s tomorrow. Given that the bleeding had stopped and I still wasn't in any pain except some mild, barely noticeable cramps maybe once every 45+ minutes, we opted to go home and wait until tomorrow. So now I'm just counting the minutes, as if I weren't already anxious enough about this appointment! Keep me in your thoughts please gals.

  • @lynzev that super scary, but I wouldn't stress too much. You're probably more nervous because of the ATV, but it sounds like you went pretty easy. My Dr 100% okay'd me riding my motorcycle. I know the ATV is a little rougher, but i don't feel like enough to cause a miscarriage. You may have just aggravated the area.

    Keep us updated. ❤️

That's what the nurse said too. She said it definitely wouldn't cause a miscarriage but the activity, or sex, or lifting something heavy, etc. can cause some bleeding due to a "ripe cervix". Which totally grossed out my DH that she used that phrase
Luckily he's been great and kept me laughing most of the time we were in the ER, and has been super attentive today.
  • I'm glad he's been helpful! Try and get some sleep tonight.
  • @lynzev I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow! Hope it’s nothing but a little bleeding.
  • @lynzev I hope everything goes well tomorrow! Glad DH is being so attentive  <3

  • @lynzev - Definitely keeping youin my thoughts.  What kind of ER can’t perform an ultrasound?  That is crazy.

This may or may not be helpful- but the only time I have had any spotting was after using a textured toy on myself; the spotting didn’t show up right away, it happened over the course of a day.  I can only imagine what jeans pulled tight and rubbed over the area on an ATV would have done.

I felt the same way, but it's a tiny little hospital at a sort of satellite campus that we always go to just because it's not in town and the wait time is usually less than an hour, as opposed to the bigger hospital where we live that makes you wait 3+ hours to even be seen. The have the equipment to do emergency deliveries (I think, based on the labels on their cabinets hahaha) but for some reason they don't keep ultrasound equipment.
  • im 12+4 and my nausea is bascially gone. I'm getting some headaches and now im eating a ton of food its amazing. I just want another ultrasound so I know baby is growing :( glad the bad part is mostly over so I can enjoy myself.
  • @lynzev I'll be thinking of you today!

I thought my nausea had subsided but I felt sick all day yesterday and I'm still dealing with these terrible headaches. I have no energy and I'm still ready for bed at 8 pm.

Nausea is better but I'm still eating way too many carbs and wish I had the appetite to eat healthier. Still turned off by a lot of foods.

    Sense of smell is epic!

Haven't vomited once from morning sickness, I figured I wouldn't as I have a pretty strong stomach and rarely throw up when I'm sick.

Crampy here and there and definitely gassy.

    Napping daily! ZzZzzzz
  • @lynzev that’s super scary! The dr visit sounds reassuring. Thinking of you!

Im feeling pretty good at 12w6d. Still tired, some raging hunger, no nausea really so that’s great. Sex drive is also coming back so that’s been fun! Definitely feeling some round ligament pain.  Also my OB was like a new person at and since my last visit so I’ve decided to stick with her for now. Hoping she was just off at first.
  • 11w4d

I'm miserable today. I didn't puke this AM for the first time in about 3 weeks (so yay). However, my stomach is soooo unhappy. It might be that I ate too much at dinner last night (KFC) and now my stomach is just struggling to digest it all. I just know I feel like crap, its raining, and I want my bed.
  • 9w3d

Nausea and tiredness have gotten worse. Sense of smell has been rough, I basically can't go near public bathrooms. Every once in a while I get these "zingers" or sharp pains in my belly... no spotting so I'm assuming it's round ligament pain. They come and go for about 20 minutes, but when they first show up it's always a bit of a surprise!
