I have been jumping at the bit to get October 2018 board up and running! So glad to see it's finally here
This is my 3rd pregnancy and 3rd BMB. I love each of my BMBs and have formed some really amazing friendships so I'm looking forward to our next 10 months together!
SD- My step-daughter has been raised by me and DH since she was 2. She's a much "bigger" sister (10 year gap) and is the biggest helper ever. I'm lucky to have another set of hands in my house! DS1- my first baby (S'14) took FOREVER to conceive. After TTC actively for 13 months, shots, temping, graphing, medications, labs, etc. we gave up and scheduled our first appointment at a fertility clinic. Then, bam! Without any trying, we found ourselves pregnant. A horrible, horrible labor/failed induction landed us with a c-section and cord injury issues. He's thankfully healthy and thriving today DS2- completely unexpected- thanks for St. Patricks Day Margaritas we got our D'16 sweet boy. He is still nursing so that is something I'm working through now since being pregnant again! Had a RCS after he failed to come on his own. Baby 3- due 10/4/2018... Team green! Excited to maybe try a VBAC this round but we will see
As for me- I am a work-from-home mama who is huge PATRIOTS fan! We love football and IU basketball in this house. It's rare that the TV isn't on ESPN if you come visit. I love carbs (I sound like Oprah), running, crafting, and spending time outside.
I've been waiting a few days for the October 18 board to appear- glad it has! I'm very excited, even looking forward to the 1st trimester symptoms setting in lol. It looks like I'll be due October 7th.
Currently it's just DH and I, and our lovely cat. I live in MA (definitely Pats territory), and I like painting, playing board games, yoga, and hiking.
DH and I have been actively TTC our first for about 15 months- I finally broke down and scheduled an appointment with a fertility specialist for mid-February, and I'm so glad to have to cancel the appointment- it feels like light at the end of the tunnel. **TW I had a loss around 13 weeks shortly after we started trying. My TTC road has been easier than many womens' has, but the past year has been very tiring. end TW**
I look forward to getting to know everyone over the coming months!
Hey guys! This is my first pregnancy and I am so, so excited to be here finally!
My H and I have been trying for 20 cycles and this cycle was our second IVF cycle and it worked! I have unexplained infertility and was a poor responder to certain IVF drugs, so when my first cycle got canceled due to low egg number, I was terrified it would never happen for me, but my second IVF they changed drugs and, well, here I am! I had my first beta today at 183 and have another one on Wednesday. We have been sobbing happy tears for the past 2 days since we found out.
My H and I are 30, live in CT, we have a cat and a dog and have been together for 13 years, married for 4.
Due October 7th. This is our second. Our first was July 2016. We are really excited to be here, and the only issue so far is that I was diagnosed with the flu this morning. No fever, but ugh another thing to worry about! Get those flu shots, everyone (even if mine turned out to be less than 100% effective!)
So glad to be here! Just like @kiwi2628 I got my BFP today through IVF. we tried conceiving naturally for nearly 5 years. After 3 failed IUIs we went with IVF, and here we are! We live in Silicon Valley in CA and have a sweet dog named Chloe. So excited and nervous to finally be on this road.
Hurray hurrrrrray! I’ve been waiting for this board to open! Still can’t find it on mobile though.. I am pregnant with baby #3, DS born in 2010, DD 2013. I am a registered nurse, started out in labor and delivery and moved on to cardiology. My DH is a college professor and we live in MO.
Very excited to start this journey with you ladies, my previous BMB did a Facebook spin off and many of us have met in person and made wonderful friendships! Due date 10/14!
I’m due October 1st, and this is our first! Right now, it is just DH and I and our two cats. This pregnancy doesn’t feel real yet, and I feel like my 8-week appointment can’t come soon enough.
I’m a cellist, and I like reading and crafting (knitting, sewing and crocheting).
Hello. Glad this board is open and beyond excited to be here!
This is our first, conceived via IVF and FET after almost 3 years of TTC. We're primarily male factor with a couple of issues tossed in on my side as an added bonus. My beta numbers have been really low, so my RE is keeping a very close eye on them, and we're all hoping I just have a lazy late implanter. Next beta is Thur.
For now this little guy/girl is affectionately being referred to as our little grey blob (LGB) because our first photo is of a 5 day blast, which doesn't look like much other than a gray circle, lol.
I have, obviously, never been on a BMB but spent quite a bit of time on TTGP. In my free time, I like to read, knit & crochet.
Hi! I'm due Oct 5th. This is the second LO for DH and I, we have a January 16 baby (I'm still active on that board) and I also have a 5 year old SD. *TW loss* we experienced a loss on Nov 30th at around 9 weeks (baby measured around 6) and didn't expect to be pregnant again so fast! *end TW*. We live in the Northeast, DH and I work at the same health insurance company, I enjoy cooking and baking (also eating!) and running.
Hi October mommas! We are Due with our third on 10/3! Our daughter recently turned 4 and our son will be 2 in April - a little nervous at the thought of having 3 under 5 but very excited to be here with you all! We live out West and enjoy getting out into the mountains weather it be hiking, camping, skiing, etc. Here is to a happy and healthy journey with you ladies that is full of sticky babies!
Hiya, I got my first ever vvf bfp yesterday! This is my first pregnancy, but I have a delightful DSS who just turned two. MH and I have been TTC for 13 months. I wasn't ovulating regularly, so I was on 2.5mg of letrozole this cycle. I'm going in for my beta later today. Tentative due date October 11th!
I grew up in MO, but live in NE now which is where MH is from. In addition to DSS, we have 2 dogs and 4 cats. I enjoy playing the Sims and baking. Excited to be here!
Me: 29 | DH: 29
Married 12/2016 DSS born 01/2016 TTC since 01/2017 Letrozole + TI = BFP 01/30/2018 | EDD 10/11/2018
I've been lurking on the Sept board for the last week, so I'm glad to be here! I'm due with our second on 10/1. DS just turned 7 a couple weeks ago. We'd been TTC for almost 2 years and this was our third IUI cycle. I'm a little worried about the kids being so far apart in age, the idea of a newborn after being so far removed is a little scary.
I'm from MI and enjoy working out, cross stitch and watching tv.
*TW* My first pregnancy ended in a MMC when I was 17 weeks. I had to have a D&E. I was part of that D’14 BMB. Hardest thing ever to say goodbye to them! *
My second pregnancy resulted in my DS who turned 2 in December. Though I’m not active on the actual BMB for D’15, we have a very very active Facebook Group of about 100 of us and I found my best friend through that group, who also has a DD with the same birthday as my DS.
This pregnancy cane much quicker and easier than the first two. My EDD is 10/9, which is one day before my birthday! DH and I are hoping for a girl! I’m never team green cause I am a planner and I NEED TO KNOW.
I live in Vermont with DH, DS and our cat. Sorry to all the Patriots fans but we are strict Eagles fans in this house. DH coaches Basketball so we live for that!
im so excited to take this journey with you all!
BFP #1 April 14th, 2014 MMC at 17weeks with a baby boy D&E
BFP # 2 March 23rd, Rainbow Baby Boy Jayce Michael born 12/9/15
BFP#3 January 26th EDD October 9th! Hoping for my girl!
Yay!! I’ve been patiently waiting for this board to open!
This will be baby #3 for us (Oct 7th EDD). DS will be 3 next month and DD is 1. Definitely a little nervous to have 3 under 3, but also so excited! We were planning on TTC this summer so finding out we were expecting much sooner has been a bit of a happy shock for us. I’m still processing...
DS delivery turned into C-section, but we had a successful VBAC with DD. Hoping for the same with this little one.
We will be Team Green this time around which I am oddly excited for! We’ll see if I can stick it out for the next 9 ish months.
I work full time but have a very flexible schedule that allows me to work from home a couple days a week. We have two little fur babies. Been with my husband for 8 years, married for 5. We are big Indianapolis Colts football fans and Indiana Hoosier bball fans.
Looking forward to this journey with you all. This is most likely our last baby so I’m going to try to soak it all up- the good and the uncomfortable!!
Hello! Crazy that I’m here! I took a test this am after a week of being very tired, and a few days late on period. We weren’t planning this right now as we are in the middle of a big move, but guess He had other plans! I’m guessing date of conception was 1/17, and my last period was 12/28, so I think that makes me due around oct 10th? Anyone with similar stats? I’m nervous as my 2 and a half year old was a preemie born age 34 weeks so I will likely be high risk. Congrats to all!
I’m a FTM and got my first ever BFP last Thursday (EDD October 5). It took DH and I 16 months, all the tests and a couple cycles of letrozole to get here. I’m still in shock and very nervous about things going wrong, but am trying to be take it one day at a time.
We are Canadian and live on a boat with our Duck Toller on the west coast. We are pretty crunchy, and I love to make everything I can myself - body products, crafts, etc.
Hooray October is open!! If my math is correct, I'm due Oct 5th with number three! I have a 10 & 2 year old at home!
Im excited, but nervous! This is a high risk pregnancy for me; I developed pre-eclampsia in both previous pregnancies resulting in a scary delivery of my son at 36 weeks, and a scarier delivery at 29 weeks with my daughter!
Im looking forward to having the confidence/experience to be more proactive about my health/symptoms this time around and praying for a full term VBA2C! My last pregnancy was a mess of mismanaged care and I refuse to let that happen again!
Cant wait to get to know you all! Any other high risk mamas here?
I’m high risk as well! I have a clotting disorder that resulted in multiple clots after the birth of my DS. I am on blood thinners throughout the pregnancy.
BFP #1 April 14th, 2014 MMC at 17weeks with a baby boy D&E
BFP # 2 March 23rd, Rainbow Baby Boy Jayce Michael born 12/9/15
BFP#3 January 26th EDD October 9th! Hoping for my girl!
@charlie2 - I grew up in a tiny town in south central MO. Where at in MO are you? I've actually been playing SimCity BuildIt on my phone lately to pass the time.

Married 12/2016 DSS born 01/2016 TTC since 01/2017 Letrozole + TI = BFP 01/30/2018 | EDD 10/11/2018
This is my third pregnancy and I'm due on 5th of October.
*TW we experienced a loss on August 26th at 7 weeks and we had been TTC for three months prior and have been TTC for about 3 months till our BFP three days ago
I have a wonderful, loving, beautiful blessing of a daughter who will be two in two weeks and I'm so excited for her to become a big sister.
Hey all! I’m going to be bouncing between Oct and September. EDD is Oct 5th but I think I ovulated early, plus will be a RCS likely in September. I have a December ‘15 little girl and am still close with some ladies from that board, so hoping to make some connections here as well!
TTC has been a journey for us. MMC before my daughter and then when I was pregnant the second time was diagnosed with a septate uterus which made me high risk and the cause of the miscarriage. In and out of the hospital that whole time, thought they’d have to take her at 30 weeks but she hung on tight and made it full term. Had a corrective surgery on my uterus this summer and am praying hard that that’s enough to make this pregnancy go smoothly! This baby is a Femara baby and we’re eagerly awaiting our first ultrasound next week. Can’t wait to get to know you all!
Hi everyone! I am shannon. I am 37 and from MA. I have a two and a half year old daughter. She keeps me pretty busy but always makes me laugh. I am a little more nervous about this pregnancy because I was diagnosed with epilepsy in August and I am on medication now. I probably won’t be able to relax until 20 weeks. Can’t wait to see what this journey will be like for everyone!
Hi all! I am a FTM and this pregnancy is a result of IVF. We were trying for about 20 months, with a diagnosis of unexplained infertility. It was our first IVF round and we did a fresh transfer, and we got official word yesterday that it worked! I have repeat bloodwork tomorrow. EDD is 10/5. I live in FL and I teach special education. We have one fur baby, a golden retriever and he is the best! I’m really excited to be here!
Hi all! First time pregnancy after 2+ yrs ttc and IVF. Fingers crossed for success! Only had three eggs fertilize so my hope was not very high for this round - thought we'd have to go again - but we got lucky! Six week ultrasound next week...
Midwest Momma to be + Dog Mom to Riley, Beagle/Boxer/Snarfer Baby Blob due Oct 7! PAIF 2+ years!
Congrats to everyone! This is my second pregnancy and I am still in a bit of denial. My EDD is October 7. My BFP came early, so I am still a bit nervous. My DS will be 2 in April. DH and I have been married for 5 years and we live in Atlanta. I am a lawyer and work full time.
I was diagnosed with preeclampsia at 36 weeks with my DS and it ended in an emergency c-section. I am hoping for a VBAC. I’m praying for no preeclampsia this time.
I love to catch Pure Barre when I can. I also love traveling, going to concerts, and reading. Can’t wait to chat it up with you ladies!
Hello everyone! I have been waiting for this board to open and I'm so glad to be here! This is my first pregnancy and based on ovulation, looks like my due date is October 2nd. I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that I'm actually pregnant... sometimes it hits me out of the blue and I'm just like "whooooa"
DH and I have been married 4 years and we have 2 cats and a dog, who is my favorite creature on the planet. We live in NC, he works in software development and I'm in the mental health field. I'm a fan of reading, TV and movies, and good food.
Another IVF story here! Diagnosis was unexplained (it actually said “other” on my chart!) and a long couple years trying.
EDD is 10/3! I’m both very excited and very nervous. First US isn’t until 2/14 (but awww).
In my freetime, I like to exercise, bake, knit, and read. I’m always on the lookout for good book suggestions DH and I have two furbabies and they are pretty awesome.
Hi everyone! I’m a third time mom from Utah. I’m due October 8th.
I am so shocked to be posting here. I didn’t get my BFP until 15 DPO so I thought I was for sure out.
TW loss mentioned- I had a CP on January 2nd right after I posted
in the September BMB. I’m so nervous and scared, but also extremely hopeful. End TW.
I have 2 Australian shepherds who are also my babies. I
love hiking, yoga, reading, and snowboarding.
I’m so excited to get to know everyone!
