Hi all! I am excited to be back to the Bump community. We have been TTC for over two years and I am happy to say that we are currently 8 weeks along. I made some great friendships when I was part of my April 2014 group and I am hoping to do the same this time around. I look forward to sharing this journey with everyone.
Hello ladies! My names Jes and I wanted to introduce myself. My hubby and I are expecting our first baby October 20th. I’m 35 (so AMA) and this is our little miracle IVF baby after a few years of infertility. We are about 8w2d currently. I look forward to sharing this fun journey with you all !
Hi! First time mama here EDD Oct 25th! Im excited to get to know everyone here better My name is India, I'm 22 years old. I enjoy drawing, singing though I'm not that great at it, and making music. I have a great passion for animals. I currently live with a loving pitbull named Jax and he is the biggest baby I've ever met! I also have a cat named Luna, she is my world and I consider her a soul mate. I hope to become a wildlife vet one day and help rehabilitate injured wildlife so they can one day be part of their natural habitat again. I'm currently unemployed but recently had a very promising interview at a job Im experienced and qualified for so keep your fingers crossed for me please! One thing I complain about a lot is my s/o's father (I'm sure some of you have heard already) and our current living situation but we are definitely working towards something better together before our little bean arrives. I'm so excited to be apart of this community and watch all us lovely women grow together. I'm looking forward to the new relationships that will bloom between all of us. I can't wait to see everyone's bumps start showing!
Hi, I have been waiting to introduce myself until I felt more confident about this pregnancy.. TW* I had an early, missed miscarriage a few months ago, and some circumstances this time have made me cautious *TW I had an US at 7+6 and everything looked good.. A nice strong heartbeat! Due date is 10/22. I've had some spotting and after suffering from HG for both of my full term pregnancies (DD-2003, DS-2010) I only have nausea this time! Of course instead of being happy about that miracle I'm afraid it means something is wrong I'm 40 years old, PCOS made my two kids hard to conceive, and didn't really think I'd be here again. Nervous.. But excited! Nice to meet you all!
My husband and I have three boys ages 13, 9 and 6. This little baby was a total surprise. I think I'm still in shock. Lol.
Nonetheless, I'm excited and warming up to the idea of having a new little one in the house. I'm definitely not warming up to the doctor referring to me as "elderly." Lol. I'm 36...
Hi ladies! Congratulations to all of you! My name is Mallory, I’m 33 and my husband and I our expecting our first in October. Edd 10/6/18. I’m still a little nervous as I’m only 10 weeks and this is my third pregnancy. First ended in early MC (blighted ovum) at 6 weeks in 2015 and another MC at 9 weeks 10/2017. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed and trying to think only happy thoughts!
Been lurking for a few weeks but thought I’d finally introduce myself. I am currently in my 9th week with my first pregnancy. Baby due 13/10/18. I live in Perth, Australia. Had my first ob appointment yesterday and everything running as expected. Looking forward to getting to know people over this 9 month journey.
Hello Everyone, my name is Victoria Johnson. I am pregnant with my 2nd child and my husband and I are so excited. I am current 2 months along and I already believe this will be a long pregnancy. My 1st pregnancy was in the hospital and this time I'm going the natural route using a midwife. I'm a little nervous, but my family is so excited for this next chapter and our daughter is excited to be a big Sister.
I'm 9w2d and have been lurking for a while, just getting a feel for everything. This is my 1st pregnancy, and it was a heck of a surprise...my 29th birthday was 2 days before my BFP, and I thought my bouts of nausea were due to a hangover and/or the job interview I had on Feb 13th, because obviously, my period was 11 days late due to stress of the interview and my increased workout schedule...plus I've had the paraguard in for 2.5 years, so I couldn't be pregnant, right?! Took a HPT the night of the interview, more to assure myself I wasn't preggo, and lol and behold, I was very wrong and was 5w1d already! DH and I were on quite a shock the first 2 weeks, and I had a billion doctors visits and USs to confirm pregnancy and check on IUD placement. It was still in there, albeit a little low (nice souvenir US to show the fam lol). We'll never know what came first, baby or low IUD! Thankfully the IUD came out with no issues!
Now that the shock has worn off, DH and I are both excited and terrified for this new chapter in our lives! We always wanted to have kids, and we're thinking of trying next year anyway. Baby is due on DH's birthday (10/15) and I may end up delivering in the hospital he was born in! (MIL loved that) our 3rd wedding anniversary is also in October so it's going to be a special month for us!
Hello, all! My name is Kristina, and I'm due October 31st with my #9. This baby was completely unexpected. I thought I was done having babies, and was looking forward to grandbabies, but surprise! My other DSs and DDs range from almost 30 down to almost 5 and now this one! Hurray for new beginnings!❤
Hi all! Like a few other intros I've read, I've been lurking around for a couple of weeks and thought maybe I'd start to participate rather than just avidly read about everyone else's experiences! I am currently in my 7th week with our first pregnancy, EDD is October 28, 2018 based on LMP. I'm turning 30 in June and we just finished building a house that we moved into about a week ago so this will be an exciting year for us! I refer to myself as a bit of a recovering hypochondriac so doing my best not to get too worried about every twinge and unexplained feeling. We are scheduled for our first ultrasound in another 3 weeks so can't wait to have a bit more concrete evidence that everything is going the way it should be and see our little nugget!
Hi! I guess I’d better introduce myself. I’m Molly, and I live in Nebraska. Super exciting lol. I am a SAHM to an almost 2 year old son (Apr 16 BMB). This is baby number 2, pregnancy number 3. This pregnancy is an “I got my IUD our and don’t want to go back on bc until I have another kid” pregnancy.
Prior to being a SAHM, I was a social worker at child protective services for close to 7 years. I’m always up for answering questions anyone has about those...issues haha.
I also coach a high high school color/Winter Guard (flags and wooden mock rifles from marching band, but cooler!)
Currently, I’m obsessed with my toddler, The Magicians, Snapchat, my husband and my cats. Pretty much in that order.
I’m mostly logging in from my phone, so I miss a lot of posts. But I try to catch up as fast as I can! My last BMB was DRAMA, and I’m hoping this one is more chill.
My name is Ashley. I'm 31 and live in Texas. I work fulltime and attend school fulltime. My husband and I are on our 4th pregnancy. We've got two fabulous girls (4,1, and one miscarried) and are hoping for a healthy and smooth pregnancy.
Looks like we'll be due 10/15 ish. Previous pregnancies included progesterone injections starting at 16 weeks, so I'm focusing on enjoying the last few weeks I'll have without them.
This is my pregnancy with the bump. I've used other apps, but a mom friend said the communities are much better here, so I'm giving it a go!
Hello everyone. I've been reading through the posts until I could finally join in. I randomly came across the bump when I was searching some pregnancy related topic so I am quite new to this website and am confused by many of the abbreviations lol.
I'm currently expecting baby #5 and according to my ultrasound I am due October 11th. We weren't quite sure because I removed my IUD at the end of December and I got a positive test March 2nd but didn't have regular cycles yet. I have one adult child with my ex and the younger 3 with my husband of nearly 10 years. I'm 40 so I'm considered AMA. My last pregnancy was 3 years ago and I was high risk. I ended up on bed rest for the last month and in physical therapy until 6 months afterwards. I'm hoping we don't have to do that again. My family and I live in Wisconsin and I'm currently a sahm though I previously worked in social services. Trying to decide if I want to go team green for what is most likely my last pregnancy. The idea of not knowing is exciting but since we ironically just gave away all our baby clothes last summer I'm starting completely from scratch for this little one lol.
@ummibtihaj and @sammierose464, you can't see it on the app, but on the webpage there's also a link on the bottom of the page with common forum abbreviations.
Hi, My name is Sarah! I'm 23 soon to be 24 and my husband is 26. We both have lived in Connecticut our whole lives. I'm 10 weeks pregnant with our first baby due 10/12. I'm so tired and sick my favorite thing to do is rest. It's funny how much baby has already changed my life. I'm excited though and after our ultrasound have already fallen in love!
I'm a little late jumping on board. This is my 3rd baby/pregnancy. My son is a February '13 baby (still friends with the mama's from that board!), my daughter is a June '15 baby (wasn't on the Bump with her), and now due approx 26 Oct! Feeling a little alone this time because many of my friends stopped at 2 babies. Also I'm 35 so this pregnancy will be AMA - something new for me. Looking forward to chatting with you all
Hi there! I currently have 3 kids (DS7, DD5, and DS2) and this baby was a total surprise! I was on BC and DH was going to get snipped this summer. It still doesn't quite seem real to me!
Hi, Ladies! I finally have enough energy to feel like I can join and try to keep up with this board My EDD is October 2. Technically, I'll have a September baby though because I'll have a RCS, but I'd rather be on a board with others closer to my pregnancy time frame. This is my fourth pregnancy. ODD was born March 2013. I got pregnant Nov. 2015, and found out I had a MMC Jan. 2016. I got pregnant my first cycle after and had YDD November 2016. DH and I were undecided about having three. Not against it at all, but wasn't sure if it was for us. We decided to give it one round of fertility treatment (femera, trigger, IUI) and whatever happened, happened. Here we are. This pregnancy has been a wild ride so far with blood clots, nausea, throwing up, and spotting.
I'm new here. FTM, expecting rainbow baby with my fiance after two miscarriages at 5 1/2 and 6 weeks. I'm currently 8 1/2 weeks. So grateful and hopeful everything goes great and we can meet our bundle of joy Oct. 23rd.
Hi! I’m nervously introducing myself, I’m an FTM and our first ultrasound is this Thursday where, fingers crossed, everything will be okay!
I have been following the board for awhile and the advice from everyone has already been really helpful. I was an in vitro baby and always assumed I would have the same issues as my mom, so it was a bit of a shock when I found out I was pregnant - but a happy shock for sure.
DH and I live in the Midwest, I love the Michigan State Spartans and I’m currently trying to come up with ways to fake drink my way through St. Patrick’s Day.
@firsttimespartanmom hello! Glad to hear how excited you are! My first appointment is on Thursday as well!! I believe there's been a thread about faking drinking in public if you haven't seen it, it's got quite a few decent options and ideas! I'm on the app so I don't know how to link the thread but I'm sure you can find it easily. Good luck!
My name is Kayley and I’m 30 years old. My husband and I started trying at the end of December and I got pregnant at the end of January. We didn’t expect it to happen that fast. I’m due 10/14 and have my first ultrasound next Wednesday.
Hello. This is my 4th baby. DS1 was born 4/24/08, DS2 was born 7/27/09, and DD1 was born 12/24/16. This one is due 10/23/18. I am an Accountant working for the US government. Prior, I was in the Marine Corps for 9 years.
Hi everyone, I'm from NYC, living in Ireland for past 3 years after marrying an Irishman. Struggled with "unexplained" infertility and went through 3 IUIs and 2 rounds of IVF before finally getting pregnant. Due October 21. Live in a beautiful house by the sea with my lovely husband and 2 dogs. Avid runner and reader. 9 weeks today and so far (knock on wood) having an easy time of it.
Ive been posting in some other threads but thought I’d take the time to be proper and introduce myself!
My names Sara, live in Alabama! DH and I got quite the surprise last month when we found out we were expecting baby #1. Were calling it our little miracle baby cause I’ve struggled with inability to conceive, and we had basically stopped ‘trying’ altogether, until we could afford professional help. Ended up happening unexpectedly when I was home for a 3 day reprieve of a 4 week work trip.
EDD is currently 10/22, and I go for my first u/s on Tuesday. We can’t wait to see the lil bit. So far it all feels very surreal, and hoping for all positive news this week. Plans to tell the family next weekend!
Hiiiie ladies !! I am a little late to the party ( and I can't quite post my own commented *yet* so I thought I'd reply to this one .
I am SO excited . I am 12 weeks pregnant tomorrow with our first child ! I am from Cobourg area in Ontario . DH and I got married last year and have been trying since last summer . He has a 14 year old son whom I love so much ! Still super nervous and hoping baby is healthy and growing up a storm ! I am very excited to be part of this group and get to know some lovely mamas !
Hi! This is my first ever pregnancy, and I'm super nervous about it. I found out about my pregnancy on Valentine's day, and I'm due October 29. It feels weird and I guess I'm not used to all of this yet. I actually never thought I would have a child. Anywho, I hope I'm able to get to know many of you as well
Hey guys! I'm a 2nd timer from VA. I have one ds who is 3.5. According to my LMP I am due 11/5, but they will probably schedule my repeat c-section for the week before, which puts me in October That BMB isn't made yet, so I will probably hang out between the two.
I'm being super cautious about this, especially until my first appointment in 4 weeks. I'm only 4 weeks today. I'm very excited though and cannot wait to get to know you all.
I have 2 yellow labs, Oakley who is 11.5 and Ava Lynn who is just over a year. They keep me busy but I wouldn't trade them.
I look forward to getting to know you!
Hey guys I'm not doing a very good job of hanging out between the two. But I have been reading your posts here and there. I'm kind of waiting to figure out where I "belong" after my appointment next week! It's odd being potentially one of the latest and one of the earliest on the other!
Me: 31 I DH: 31
Met: 9/8/08; Engaged: 9/8/11; Married 6/30/12

Hi! I'm a little later joining this board due to being high risk and cautious about pregnancies.
I have a almost 6 year old DS, a 4 year old DS and an almost 2 year old DD. This is my 7th pregnancy.
TW* I had a late 2nd tri loss (incompetent cervix) between DS 2 and my DD and have had 2 early losses since August, the last being at 9 weeks in early January. LO is a surprise since we only DTD once due to waiting on a period. Oops lol
First u/s was yesterday and we are measuring right on time. EDD 10/30. I am high risk and will have a cerclage placed again at 14 weeks and will have weekly appointments until then.
My last bmb was great, so I cant wait to see how this one goes!
Hi Ladies! Late to this board-my calculation for EDD is 10/31, first appointment 3/24, hoping to hear a heartbeat by then! DH and I have a DS May'15 and a fur baby. Nervous about bringing a new baby into family with a VERY spirited 3YO! We have to renovate to add a bedroom before EDD, and I'm a SAHM. This should be fun! We live in SD, CA and I enjoy gardening and neighborhood strolls. Looking forward to GTKY'all!
@oaklandava In same boat as you! I couldn't get an appt til 9 weeks (by my math), so waiting to see whether Halloween baby or early Thanksgiving baby! Looking forward to seeing where you land!
Hello everyone! My name is Wendy. This is my first pregnancy so I'm very excited. We're expecting to meet them on October 24th. Still haven't told the general public about our little pumpkin, so I'm very anxious! Also a little scared because my mom had two miscarriages before having me, and one after. Every week I'm grateful for still having my little blob still with me. My husband and I are affectionately calling it Blobbert, until we find out if it's a boy or girl ...and decide on a name hahaha. Hope to be involved in the boards. It'll be nice to talk to others in the same situation. Thanks!
Re: Introductions
I have been waiting to introduce myself until I felt more confident about this pregnancy..
TW* I had an early, missed miscarriage a few months ago, and some circumstances this time have made me cautious *TW

Of course instead of being happy about that miracle I'm afraid it means something is wrong
Hi Everyone!
I'm pretty new here. Due on October 14th!
Also, I miss wine.
Nice to meet you all!
Please ensure you change your screen names so it is easier to get to know you, tag and remember your name!
