Hello beautiful mommas!!! My name is Alex and I am a first time momma due October 20th! My hubby and I have been together since high school, promised one another we would graduate college before getting married and having babies and we did just that! We got married July of 2017 and decided to start trying in January.
Not it expecting it to happen as fast as it did, it definitely did and we are both beyond thrilled and over the moon excited!
Crazy story, our due date, 10/20 is the same exact day that he proposed to me almost 3 years ago!! Now if only we can actually have babe on that day!!! I cannot wait to know what we are having it’s already eating me alive!! Anyways....enough blabbing, I’m so excited to talk to all of you! ❤️
Hey everybody! I’ve been reading along with you all since I got my first BFP on Jan 28! I was too sick to post, but it seems to be letting up a little. This will be our 1st baby, and she’s due October 7th. We found out the sex via blood test. We were TTC for 14 months, and finally did the cycle after the HSG procedure. I’m happy to be here with you all!
Me: 28 & DH: 29 Married May 31, 2014 TTC 1 year Currently testing
My name is Jen and I’m going to be a first time mom from Burlington, Ontario. I’m 34 so I didn’t expect things to happen so fast since starting to try but here we are! My husband and I are very excited but know nothing about babies so we’re going to be doing a lot of reading and research.
I’m 12 weeks today with a due date of October 14th but on both of my ultrasounds they moved the date up so I’m not too sure. I had an extra ultrasound at 10 weeks because the doctor noticed an enlarged gestational sac at 8 weeks (supposed to be 7!) Sac still looks a little big but midwife said everything should be fine. I’m having yet another ultrasound this Thursday for my NT scan and bloodwork. I’m a bit nervous because of my age but I need to stay positive! I’m lookong forward to getting to know everyone on this exciting journey!
@jenchoo welcome! I grew up in Burlington! Born and raised I now live in Waterdown. I've never had anyone so close to me on here! How fun! Good luck with your NT scan!
Thanks @nasalot188 and @chyvie for the warm welcome! @chyvie I hope everything went well on your scan. I’m really hoping the wait for results isn’t too long because I know mine are sent to Mississauga for testing. @nasalot188 my husband and I were actually looking at waterdown to buy. We got our house at the height of the price wars last year
Hey ladies! I am very happy to have found this group after my friend who is due a few months before me recommended it. I am 37 years old from Atlanta GA. Son just turned 2 and we are 10 weeks pregnant with twins! Slowly coming around to the idea and not being totally freaked out about how tf we’re going to deal with 2 newborns. They are technically due 11/1 but doctors won’t let them go later than 10/11.
Hi everyone! I live in Minnesota, from Arizona, and my husband and I are pregnant with our first! Currently 11 w 5 days today, and so so so excited! God is so good ♡ happy to be apart of the group.
Hey everyone! After having to go through two waiting periods I am finally able to post. I am from northern Ontario Canada and am pregnant with my first, my husband and I are anxiously waiting our first ultrasound which isn’t until the 12 week mark and is scheduled for Wednesday. I am having a really hard time believing that I am pregnant we have been trying for over a year now and I am just so anxious and nervous.
Hey guys my name is Kim and I am from Illinois! This is my 4th pregnancy and I have 1 son who is 3 years old! We are due with twins October 31st!! So excited to be on this journey again!
I’m Val and I’m 11w 3d pregnant with my 3rd. I’m 33, and my husband and I have a 4 year old son and 15 month old daughter. I’m an elementary school teacher and we live in Southern California.
My edd is 10/25 but I will most likely deliver at 37w (10/4), which is what happened with both my kids due to preeclampsia. I’ve been told to expect to have it again and I’ve already been diagnosed with gestational diabetes (I had it with my daughter so I tested early) so I’m labeled high risk.
I was a lurker in the April ‘14 BMB but active in my Jan ‘17 BMB and am still a part of the Facebook group that spun off from there. I love being part of that community and am excited to be here.
Hi mamas!
This is my 4th pregnancy. 1 loss and 2 beautiful babies ages 1 and 2. Due 10/17. Living in Southern California and looking forward to connecting with you all!
I am mom to a 13 year old son, and due with number 2 on 10/29. My husband and I had been going to the specialist and were trying to induce ovulation for a cycle of IUI, and after a few weeks the doc determined that I was not responding to the meds. We decided to move on the IVF and injectables, but had to wait for my next cycle to start. When day 35 came around, my labs showed I wasn’t prego, but had ovulated a few days prior. 8 days later I took a home test on Valentine’s Day, and found out that we had managed to get pregnant without the science!! So excited to be expecting number 2!
Hi, I live in VA and 2 sons. DS1 is 5 and DS2 is 8 months. I'm due 10/18. I've met a great group of ladies while I was active on TTGP in 2016 and on the Aug '17 bmb. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
Hi everyone! This is my second rodeo and I’m due October 22nd. I live in VA with my husband, our DD who is 15mo, and our dog and cat. I was active on and am still close with the Jan ‘17 bmb and those ladies are great. I can’t wait to be on this journey again with you all!

I'm a first time mom, currently 13w5d. I'm living in Sweden and finally started telling people in the past few days! We had our ultrasound about 5 days ago and were told we're due October 17th (based on LMP it was October 20th). So right now I'm just expecting a halloween baby
I've been lurking for so long so I'm excited to finally be part of all the discussions!
Welcome! Check out the post about "knottie" screen names and look into giving yourself a unique username. It helps us get to know you and makes it easier to tag you in posts.
Hi everyone. I'm from WI, expecting my 3rd. I have an almost 4 year old, 19 month old, and am due on Oct 25. I was a lurker on April 14 and involved in Aug 16. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
Hello, I'm Allison. I have been lurking for awhile and thought I would introduce myself. This will be baby number 4 for me, and this time I am AMA at 35 years old. My kids are 12, 11, and 3... we are also a blended family with my SS age 12 as well. We have a house full and are excited to meet the new one in October! I'm due Oct 29.
So grateful to have access to so much information and advice here. First time being pregnant! Very excited but everything still feels really surreal. Due mid-October. Have had a very lucky time so far, not too many symptoms other than lots of emotions all the time, but I'll take it! DH and I live in New England and excited to welcome baby during our favorite time of year!!
First pregnancy for me; due date October 15th. Beyond excited. Family consists of DH and our lovely geriatric cat. I work as an RN/educator with an inconsistent schedule, but a job that I absolutely love so am nervous about how life will change once baby is here! I admit that I enjoy watching mindless trash tv with some goodies in between ( teen mom, jersey shore, impractical jokers, this is us, timeless is my new fave). As I am writing this we just overwhelmed ourselves with going baby window shopping and realized we have a lot to learn and research about ( Do I get the car seat or the whole travel system? Why is this cheaper but by the same company and seems just as good as the other?! How do I know I’m not being swindled!! Lol) *end mental word vomit*.
Excited and hopeful for a camaraderie with you ladies as we go through this journey side by side!
Welcome @chelseag128! You'll find lots of good posts to help answer some of your questions. Check out our product spotlight threads. And there's a stroller thread that's titled "double strollers" but ended up being general stroller discussions. We also have a first time mom's thread that our lovely experienced moms have helped answer questions!
Hi Mommies! Poor manners, I haven't posted on the introduction board yet! I'm 29, DH is 41 and we are expecting our first baby Oct 26th! (fur baby is my profile pic We just got married Oct 1'7, and didn't want to waste any time starting a family. We're from central jersey. I work in employee benefits (mostly health insurance) and he does commercial insurance. If any NJ moms have general questions on their pregnancy and their benefits, I'd be happy to chime in! (not soliciting, just offering help, I know it's like speaking Chinese to some!) Genetic testing was done, baby is healthy as far as we can tell, it's a boy, we are naming him Hudson!
I love DIY and crafty projects. Working on getting my Etsy store up and running within the next few months. What's one more project right?!
@babyptobe apparently we are very similar I also go married this past October (10/1/17) and work in employee benefits. I mostly manage our h&w administration vendor.
Hello everyone—we are due Oct. 26, on our anniversary. I’ve been hesitant to post just because we have had so many fertility problems before. We took about five years to get pregnant with our now six year old son. Last fall we miscarried at 13.5 weeks. Hoping this one “sticks,” as we are just at the 13 week mark. The NIPT came back fine (and #teamblue), but there’s nothing like a history of loss that makes you feel ill at ease to admit this is actually happening. We are excited but cautious, as it’s already been a difficult pregnancy due to low progesterone and extreme morning sickness. (Diclegis 3x a day is my best friend right now!).
In my spare time, I read or browse the web. We love to play video games together as a family and my husband bowls on two leagues. They qualified for state this year, so we are looking foreward to a small babymoon during his travel.
Hi everyone! My name is Victoria and this will be mine and my husband's first child. We previously lost a pregnancy early in the 6th week in December but now we're steadily approaching our 13th week with this pregnancy and everything is looking great!!! I did my genetic testing this week so I'm super excited to find out the gender. I'm looking forward to embarking on this journey with all of you.
Hello! My name is Sarah! Im from Alberta, Canada and this will be our first! We had a mmc & d&c in December at 10 weeks, so we were very shocked to conceive again so quickly. Baby is due Oct 23rd, almost at 14 weeks, and so far everything is going good!!
