@BabyMC517 Are you the one who has been getting crazy overheated in the night too?
Have been for awhile! I've resorted to sleeping in only underwear or underwear and a bra...it's gotten a little better since we've moved because we keep the temp much lower since it's less square footage but I still get so dang hot! Too many pillows to keep me propped up or on my side could be part of it too haha

@BabyMC517 Thought so! You and I sound alike with the hot sleeping and swelling when we're hot. I'm down to a tank and underwear, 2 fans, AC, and a blanket just over my shoulder for sleeping because ugh it's SO hot!
I was so hot and miserable last night. We finally have spring weather here (PNW) and I could have sworn it was 90 degrees in our house. It was only 64. But soooo hot!
@nda_roxybabe I just can't do it. The thought of taking a hot shower while super sweaty makes me want to pass out. It's like I physically can't make myself do it.
+1 on being hot all the time. I've been taking cold showers.
Oddly, despite me being hot all the time I LOVE my warm showers every night.
This was me the other day. It was like 90 degrees and I was super warm, but I still took a hot shower. It basically felt like the shower didn't take. I was still sweaty afterwards.
not quite pregnancy related, but my heat rash is driving me nuts! Every year when it starts to get hot I get heat rash on my chest and it just looks so..ugh. Well, I have what I've thought was acne on my shoulder (wrapping around to my chest), but now I'm thinking its just more heat rash? Either way it looks gross and I hate it.
+1 for night sweats. I'm freezing DH out at night.
My feet are swollen. My shoe possibilities are so limited. I over did it on Sat between walking around at an event and eating boiled crawfish. My right foot was so swollen that it hurt. Luckily I was able to keep it propped up all night and the swelling went down. Definitely keep those feet elevated as much as possible.
I had my cervix checked this morning and now I'm extremely uncomfortable. I'm feeling heavy, mildly crampy, and almost like I need to poop. I declined a membrane sweep...no reason to rush this baby (yet). I'm assuming the symptoms are bc of the check and not signs of early labor. Anyone else experience something similar?
I've got a new one. I've been weirdly matching everything. Like I just put on a white and pink tank and white and pink underwear. Wore a black and white striped shirt and black and white striped shoes the other day. Like not cute like creepy too matchy. I feel like it's a weird nesting thing and needing things to be in order.
+1 on being hot alllllll the time. Sweaty sweaty palms!!
I've always been a average boob girl C, but since they have grown, I swear the night sweats between my boobs is awful! I feel like I need a workout towel next to my bed!

I had something similar. I was checked on Friday afternoon and spent most of Saturday feeling like you - heavy, kind of crampy, even a few contractions. I thought it might be early labor because the doctor did say I was at 2-3 cms, but once I laid down and went to bed on Saturday, I woke up Sunday and most symptoms disappeared. It's now Tuesday and nothing. Don't get me wrong; I'm super uncomfortable and questioning every little pain, but no baby....yet.

Sounds weird, but try putting deodorant under and between your boobs. I've been doing that lately and they don't seem as bad! Or even baby powder.

SITB @clebl24 my shoe game is a shame. It's either my classic Toms or my Target birkenstock look-a-likes. Hate wearing the Toms because then my feet sweat and are stinky after. Ugh! And the swelling... i have Vienna sausage toes lol!

@clebl24 Those symptoms are why I keep declining a check, although I'll be 39w + 2d at my appt this Thursday and think I should? Maybe if I start having symptoms before then...
My OB with DS never checked and the morning I started having painful contractions, he was born within 23 hours.
I'm hoping this LO presents the same way so I "know" it's go time since I'm now 40 minutes from the hospital when there is no traffic.
@absbubbs it does in my world. Two needy dogs but the cat in particular is like a growth on my body. Count that as a symptom! It doesn't help that he's always had an extreeeemely complainy meow...
I've determined that being grumpy every day is now a permanent symptom. I could wake up grumpy and then be okay or be having a good day and one little thing irks me and I'm grumpy...ugh poor H. I keep apologizing to him...

How about 0 productivity at work being a symptom. I mean it has been bad the whole pregnancy but this week (I am 39W3d) I mean physically I am at work...mentally not so much!
Woke up with an annoying headache. I used to get headaches and migraines very regularly, but since the first trimester I don't think I've had one (the only perk I've gotten from pregnancy.) I'm anti-medicine, so now it's just made me grumpy, annoyed, and even more uncomfortable. This is the first moment I've thought a bath might be nice, but I'd want to clean the tub first and that's just too much work. TB it is.
@jayandaplus lazy person pro tip: if you make it a bubble bath you can't see the tub and obsess about how you want to clean it. Out of sight, out of mind.
So...pretty sure I just lost my mucus plug...at least that's what I'm assuming that was since I've never lost one before (FTM)! So I tell my H and he's like wait so there's a certain amount of time before we need to leave right or is that when your water breaks? lol too cute...then I tell my mom to make sure what I think is my mucus plug is and she said sounds like it. Then precedes to tell me that when she lost her's with me she went into labor 2 days later...thanks mom! I mean that's all good but also sort of freaked me out at the same time lol am I really ready?!? And yes, I know it can be another week or 2, but still the thought of it was a bit overwhelming! Guess I should call my OB just to let her know...

@BabyMC517 I love the bit about your H. On Monday, I told my H how I had all this energy and was just cleaning and doing stuff like crazy. He got still and had this look on his face like I was about to go into labor, because at our labor class they talked about a burst of energy the day before. I'm like relax, bud, I just don't have work anymore. I'm definitely ready anytime this baby is, though.
@BabyMC517 I thought it was terrifying. I haven't stopped losing mine in 1.5 weeks, so that can happen, too. For us it just meant we made sure we were ready (bag packed, etc.), but it has no bearing on when baby will actually come from all my midwives and google have told me. But, at least you can say you experienced that part of pregnancy!
@starphish18 they're too funny! Its like every little thing that happens now and they heard in the classes means its go time! I mean every little ache, cramp, twinge I feel I think I'm going into labor, but I know a little better haha
@jayandaplus I've gone to Dr. Google as well and if I remember correctly from class they said the same thing and that its only really an issue if it is greenish in color, which its not. Should I still call my OB just to let them know? I never know when to call and really haven't had a need to this whole pregnancy.

Would you consider cramping and pelvic pain contractions? When do you start timing? They feel so similiar to period cramps it's hard to determine should I time or not.

I've had some of that as well and asked my dr on Monday and she said its just my body gearing up for labor. I suppose if they are really intense and you notice them coming more regularly then you'd want to start timing, but then again I've never been in labor before so what do I know haha

@BabyMC517 I wouldn't call about the mucus plug, I have lost mine twice and my doc doesn't care at all. It really doesn't mean anything on its own.
@Cubslove12 I definitely have spells of general cramping that aren't contractions. Contractions for me aremore of an event that you notice for a minute or so and then it dissipates. If I just feel crampy like a period for a duration of time like several hours that is more irritability and rest and water tends to resolve it.
Im just absolutely miserable today. BH started on my way home from work last night and some were uncomfortable so of course I was on edge. Kept getting woken up from them or the need to pee. I have a massive head ache, im still having bh occasionally, my backs killing me and I am so f ing busy at work its not funny. I'm also mildly nauseous and I feel breathless. I have been pooping like crazy since this weekend. I am thinking go time is getting pretty darn close... Week and a half till due date... ugg
I second @wombthereitis , you don't need to call your doc about the mucus plug.
Last pregnancy mine came out and my water broke about 10 hours later, I know that's pretty rare. I also had a membrane sweep that morning 4 days over due..
I keep going to the bathroom checking for signs that something is happening but nope... nothing over here. Just a ton of rib pain.
@rosemarylaff Yea, trying to work in the 39th (and beyond) week is a joke. Especially if you got stuff wrapped up to prepare to be out.
@BabyMC517 If I notice losing mine I'm going to be ecstatic, even though I know it doesn't mean anything immediate. Still exciting!
@Cubslove12 Thats how my contractions the other night started. General crampy/ menstrual feeling. H kept telling me to time it and I was like it's not really time able. Then I started getting some more time able contractions, but...they fizzled.
Second everything @WombThereItIs said. @BabyMC517 I don't think you need to call about losing your plug. Just revel in the terror of it. @Cubslove12 If it's timeable, you can time it, if it's just cramping like menstrual cramps and not timeable, I'd just consider it your body getting ready and make sure you're ready in case the next step comes (i.e. contracts, water breaking, etc.) I've had cramping for 1.5 weeks, but no timeable contractions.
The top of my bump just started hurting, both sides below my ribs. Maybe baby is dropping and the skin/ muscle/ whatever is stretching downward? IDK, it hurts.
Thanks ladies, it's just a different pain. I can barely walk right now, it's pretty consistent, but will increase in sharpness for a few seconds here and there. Soo confusing!! I can't decide if I should be worried or not, I'm currently at work.
