Re: Introduce Yourself!
Hi, I'm Kathryn. I'm 29(30 in September) and live in Ohio. I got my BFP 8/2 at 10DPO. By best guess, I think my EDD is April 14th. My DH and I have been married for 3 yrs. We have a 2 yr old son as well as 2 cats. I was involved in the August17 BMB and am still in contact with many of those ladies. I teach math at a local college as well as tutor and do some advising on the side. In my free time, I love to read, see movies, visit wineries, and go to country concerts.
Looking forward to getting to know you guys!

My DH (37) and I (35) live in MN with our 8 year old boxer Oliver (my current photo). Started TTC in 2013. Tried various hormone medication with my PCP. Started with my RE in early 2016 where I was diagnosed with ENDO with a substantial cyst in/on my right ovary and had surgery to remove. IVF in May 2017 we had 2 embryos that didn’t stick. **TW - Successful FET Jan 2018. Sweet baby girl was stillborn at 40 + 1 in Sept 2018. - End TW**. I was a lurking member of Sept 2018 BMB because I was afraid of something bad happening at first, then felt like it was too late. After some reflection, my DH and I decided to explore IVF again and went through the checklist of appointments before starting IVF in July 2019. Have not been active on the TTGP groups - but excited to be here and hopefully journey on with everyone until the end.
- How you found out - I decided to take a test before indulging in an extra cup of coffee.
- Hobbies, Job, Etc. - I'm an engineer at a med device company and also do wedding photography on the side
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies - DH, DD1, DD2, 1 cat
- Anything you’d like us to know **TW: I've had 2 losses back to back this year, the most recent being the beginning of July. **
I am 35, DH is 37 we have 2 rainbow babies, both boys. My youngest is just 9 months. This was not a planned pregnancy and I am working to adjust, as we were done having kids. I am a high risk pregnancy and both boys were preemies. My last pregnancy was very hard on my body. While I'm still wrapping my head around being pregnant, I am happy to be here, albeit very cautious. I hope I get to stick around with y'all, and look forward to traveling this road together.
I’m Allie! I think my due date is around the 6th. I actually had a dream that I took a test and it was positive, so when I woke up I took one and it was indeed positive! We have two boys, they are 10 and almost 8. We’ve been trying for 2+ years to have a 3rd, and I had a miscarriage last September. I’m feeling very excited, and cautiously optimistic at this point!
My name is Courtney. I am 5w3d Estimated.
I have had two mc in the past, and I had my first HCG draw yesterday. I am nervous and anxious about the results, but i am confident they will be good.
I have a 2.5 year old little girl - Alice who is the most sweet and caring little person, with a spitball attitude.
My husband and I have been married for 7 years and together for 10.
I am from Arizona - I love to do outdoorsy things, just not in the summer per say. Hiking, hunting, horse back riding, photography and more.
I am a full time student and full time employee. I live a crazy busy life, and I look forward to another little to fill it up more
My name is Kelly and I live in CA in the Santa Cruz mountains. H and I are both 31, married for 8 years, and we have a daughter who will be 2 in October. I was a part of the O17 board and we all still talk every day. I'm a high school music teacher, which is incredibly time consuming, especially in the fall during marching band season, but it's a ton of fun. We love camping and hiking, and we're involved in our church, where my husband and I advise the college group and are part of the worship team.
My EDD is 4/6. I got a BFP last Monday at 12 DPO, the day before band camp started.
I’m a FTM cautiously expecting, mainly because it’s taken us 3 years to get this far. I’m 34 and DH is 35. We live in So Cal.
After years of trying and then going to an RE we discovered i had endometriosis, so had to undergo a lap procedure for it. Tried several medicated IUIs after that, and this 5th IUI that led us to our BFP. I didn’t test on my own this time because I was anxious about seeing negatives like all the cycles prior. Went straight for my beta 13dpo and got my positive this time
Our approx EDD is 4/12/2020. Eagerly awaiting my 7 week ultrasound- I’m sure it’s going to be magical 🧙♀️
I love outdoor hikes, watching movies and cooking.
Took a test this morning and it was positive so here I am! EDD is April 16th based on ovulation. I haven’t told MH but plan to surprise him this evening. DS kept commenting that I have a baby in my belly so that is what prompted the test.
I am TTM (is that correct?), DS is almost 4 and DD is almost 2. We went through fertility treatments to conceive our first and have been blessed/lucky/shocked to not need treatments again. We also have a dog and a cat so we have a full house. We live in Colorado so lots of time spent outdoors, we also love to travel, movies, baking and just spend time together. I currently work full time (two days from home luckily) but that is most likely to change with #3.
Excited to be here!
Natural BFP Feb 2017. DD born Oct. 2017
Natural BFP Aug. 2019, EDD April 2020
I work a full time job
I am married with 2 girls, ages 6 and 8. Youngest has T1d and Celiac Disease. This was not planned and i am super scared to tell my husband. I am super scared that this pregnancy will even hold...and if it does, im scared i will have sick baby due to my age. 10 years ago this would have been so exciting. I want to be excited... there is just so much to worry about. We are in a tough spot financially right now too... Words of wisdom?
Have you tried discussing this with DH or a close friend who might help ease your fears? My advise would be to take each day at a time rather than worry about the future, that is what i usually try to do when i'm anxious. If you have a hobby, you can help keep yourself busy until your beta or ultrasound. Perhaps watch some lighthearted comedy shows on Netflix or read a nice book to keep your mind occupied.
Wishing you the best, and we are all here to support you.
My estimated que date is April 4th. We are remaining cautiously hopeful this time. I am currently and agonizingly waiting on the results of my second blood draw for HCG.
Praying for the best and hoping everything is good. 💕
I’m Kathleen. This is my first pregnancy! Due April 6th! We’ve been NTNP for the last 3-4 years just expecting it would happen and when it didn’t I started getting worried. I was diagnosed with endometriosis last fall and we have been more actively trying since. I was super shocked and excited to get a BFP 8 days ago!
We live in Canada. Have 2 cats and I’m an avid horseback rider! (Show jumping)
Im excited to get to know you all better!
Edit to add: I’m a L&D RN! So I’m quite comfortable with labour, delivery and newborns and hopefully can help answer some questions over the next 40 (ish) weeks for everyone!

My name is Katie. My husband and I have been trying for our first child for about 15 months, and we are beyond excited for this journey! We currently have a ten year old dog named Capone who we know will be an excellent big brother.
My EDD is April 7th.
I work in tech, specifically with software implementation. I don't have many hobbies but I enjoy origami, playing video games, and cooking.
I had a sneaking suspicion that I was pregnant in the second half of July, with my sore chest and fatigue, but had gotten my hopes up so many times before that I was worried to test until I missed my period. I was so happy I shouted at my husband from the bathroom. I wish I had a sweeter story on how I broke the news but I was just so relieved.
So nice to meet everyone!!
I am 35, and this is my first pregnancy.
- My EDD is April 2nd
- We had been ttc for 18 months with no luck, we went to our doctor a couple months ago to discuss our lack of success, and did blood tests and got a referral for a fertility clinic, we were just waiting to get our appointment. I didn't expect the bfp this time at all, I didn't even temp, we just tried around the estimated fertility window a couple times (not even on what was projected to bebthe most fertile day). So, unlike past months I wasn't rushing to test early, but then I got to 28 days and no period (my cycle is usually 28 days but ranges fron 25-30), and 30, and 31, and I started getting really emotional but I though it was pms, but then decided to test anyways, and got the bfp!!! I couldn't believe it. I showed my partner right away and he was super happy too.
- I am a biologist, cirrently finishing my phd
- I have been with my partner for 7 years and we have one cat
- I am so scared of losing this baby and losing more time as I am getting older really fast haha.
I am Rags
I am currently 5w2d
We found out doing a test together.
I do painting.
This is my first pregnancy I am 28.
my name is Kira and I am a FTM. I am a sexual health educator. (This school year will be interesting to say the least). I am 27 and my fiancé is 28. We have been together for 7 years and have two fur babies(cats).
I got my bfp pretty early on 7/23 (10 dpo). My EDD is 4/5. I am very excited and nervous about this journey as I am a plus size momma. Looking forward to sharing and learning with you all!
My EDD based on LMP is 4/2, but I think it will move back a few days based on O. I took a test on 7/29 mid afternoon bc H was traveling that night and it was CD 32. Then I met H at our D17 girls swim lessons, and handed him my phone with the pic of the test and told him I needed to look at something. We had been TFAS since March, so we are very excited. We tried for our first for 3+ years and H had to have surgery for MFI. My first OB appointment is not until 8/23, so I am anxious.
I work in change management in mortgage. H is in commercial agricultural banking. I’m 30, he’s 40; married for 6 years, together 9. We have a girl, Merritt, who will be 2 in December. I’m still very active with that BMB. We live outside of St. Louis, MO, commute to the city for work and also ranch on the weekends. We have a barn cat, 2 dogs, 11 chickens, and a herd of cattle.
BFP 4/27/2017 - EDD 12/25/2017 - DD born 12/15/2017
EDD (Estimated Due Date): April 15
How you found out: My husband and I had only been trying for 1 cycle, so even though I was hopeful I had no expectation of being preggers this soon. I’d been really tired, nauseous, and let’s be honest crabby all weekend. When on Sunday morning I announced I was carsick before the car even started moving, my husband was like, “uhhh... have you taken a pregnancy test?” 🙃 Got a faint line on a test that night, then got a positive result on a digital test this morning (the first day of my expected period).
Hobbies, Job, Etc: I work at a nonprofit that does mentoring for middle and high school students. I love it and it’s inspired me to pursue my masters in school counseling (was planning on applying to programs for next semester, but now, well, we’ll see...). I also do a lot of side work as a musician (vocals/guitar/keys for weddings/bars/churches and such), and also pick up some random shifts to make fruit bouquets or delivery drive at our local Edible Arrangements. I also volunteer at our local Humane Society to snuggle cats and dogs.
Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: I’ve been married almost 7 years to an amazing guy who is 32. We’re currently in the middle of getting ready to list our house and move across town. No other kiddos, but we have a dog and cat that we adore.
Anything you’d like us to know: *TW: We has a pregnancy loss at 8 weeks in February of this year. There were complications with the miscarriage and long story short it lasted until mid-April.* I’ve got a lot of fears going into this pregnancy. But I’m trying to hang on to the joy and just enjoy every second I get to spend with this little one.
I was one week late and decided to test... and voila positive. I am over the moon and can't wait to connect with all you mamas!
EDD (Estimated Due Date)
April 8 based on LMP. I'll have my dating ultrasound on September 4. Baby will be born a year almost to the day after DD2.
How you found out
I was talking about DD2 with a young coworker of mine, and she asked me how I knew I was pregnant with her. I told her that what really tipped me off was heartburn, since I have only ever gotten heartburn during pregnancy. Then I started thinking, "Wait a minute... I had heartburn last night..." I picked up a couple of tests and sure enough, faint pink line. 15-20 tests later (I may have been in denial) and the line just keeps getting darker. It wasn't easy for us to get pregnant with either of our first 2 (tried over a year for each) so it was for sure a surprise.
Hobbies, Job, Etc.
I just recently quit my job managing nonprofit and trade associations because of a ridiculous commute and not being able to leave work at work and started working part time at a Starbucks practically around the corner from my house to be able to devote more time to my girls. I worked for Starbucks during and after college and I already knew it was a company that really cares about their employees and has good benefits for part timers, plus free coffee (which I can't exactly indulge in at the moment).
As far as hobbies, I love music and sing with my church's worship team. I also enjoy reading and writing in what little spare time I have.
Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies
My husband and I met in college (Liberty University) and have been together 12 years and married for 7. We have 2 daughters, one who will be 4 years old this weekend and one 4-month-old. We also have a 2-year-old pit mix named Gemma who is a total love bug and basically an overgrown lap dog.
I'm excited to be on this journey (again) with you all!
i am a k teacher and I love to read, watch movies, travel, and cook.
Im nervous about having another child because I feel like it would be difficult to juggle work load, wife load, and Mom load, but I’m ready for a new adventure!
I was super active on TTGP for about nine months before I got my BFP with my son. Didn’t have a chance this time around, but I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you!
My EDD is 4/3/2020 so I am 5w5D! This will hopefully be baby #3. we have a DS 7 and a DD 4. i have had three CPs in the last two years but i got two blood draws and my numbers look really good so trying to relax and not worry!
I have my own consulting practice that can be demanding but also has a lot of flexibility as far as where i am which is good and bad because i never leave work at work. My husband is a writer who is working on a book. our dog died three years ago and frankly we’re not really over him though the kids want one.
I am excited to be starting this journey with everyone. here is to happy and healthy pregnancies for all of us!
Now we're praying for another healthy pregnancy and to bring home a healthy baby this coming spring. And I hope for the same for all of you!
