I found a few days ago that I was pregnant. My husband and I just celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary last week so we went out of town for the weekend. We went to a bunch of different breweries and had a great time! We got back on Sunday when I was due for my period. I hadn’t gotten it yet or felt like I was going to so I decided to test and sure enough I got my BFP! I miscarried back in May so I am still super nervous and hope this one sticks. My EDD is April 30th.
I am married and we have 2 boys who are 6yrs and 2yrs. We want 3 kids and then we will be done. I get to stay home with my boys most of the time. I do deliver groceries for Shipt when I have time.
@littleredm I work OTP up in Alpharetta but live ITP in Chamblee, so I'm all over the place. Grats on baby#1 though! Do you know where you want to deliver? I can give you alllllllll the knowledge I've accrued about having babies in this city over the last 9 years 😂

Hi ladies! I’m 38 and a STM. I have a son who is 3. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and I kinda thought we were done at baby #1 but surprise I’m 8w5d with baby #2. EDD is 6 April. I have my first appt next week.
I realized it was possible I was pregnant when I started having insomnia. I took a test a few days later to confirm.
I enjoy reading, CrossFit, weight lifting, and cooking (except not right now). We also have a dog named Bacon and two cats, Oscar & Bailey.
Hi ladies. Quick intro. I have a 2.5 yo daughter from donor eggs in the Czech Republic. Pregnant again with donor eggs (for the 4th time since having my daughter) and hoping this little butter bean is a sticker. Super close to my Jan17 BMB. I love the community, resources, and friendships this kind of group can offer.

Hi everyone! my name is Nicole and I'm 31 and this first is my first pregnancy. My Edd is 4-17. I am from Phoenix az but live in Portugal and teach English online. My husband is Portuguese and we met while we were both living in Melbourne, Australia. we took a test at home and came back with that positive result. 😁 Very excited but overwhelmed as well.
Hello! My EDD is 4/29. This will be my third. I have two daughters, almost 5 and 2.5. My husband and I are still a little shell shocked about expecting #3!
Hello! I'm Jessica. DH and I were TTC and got a BFP right away. We were so shocked, as we are 34 and 37, and expected it to take a few cycles. I'm due April 27 with baby #2. My DS is 13 (same baby daddy). I am so nervous to have a newborn and a 14yo. And we are all so excited to welcome a new addition to the family.
Hello everyone! I am a STM with EDD of April 22. DH and I had been trying for over a year after having to wait several years to try due to his deployments and I finally came to terms with the idea the we’d only have one child...and here I am! Still in the shock/disbelief phase. I am a teacher, soon turning 35, and our DS is 9 so I’ve been questioning a lot about whether I can still do this and if our son will be jealous/resentful. Glad to have support from you all along this journey.

Hello there April moms, I'm Jenny my Partner Sasha and I tried for 3 months w Mosie Baby IUI and we're preggers. only end of week 5 but, so far everything seems fine. So normal, outside of my boobs being on fire, that I dont feel pregnant yet. Super early...
Because we are a same sex couple and we know exactly when the sperm and egg met the April due date is a bit early but, my for prenatal is next week so I'll speak with her about it.
Hi Everyone! My name is Dana and I am 38. My husband and I have a 5 year old son and I was very active in the April ‘14 BMB. My EDD is 4/30 so this is VERY new!
I was feeling “off” last week (nausea, sore boobs, etc) and kept waiting to get my period. Finally on 8/23, I decided to take a pregnancy test just for the heck of it and it was positive... and the second test was as well! To say I was in shock is an understatement. My son is starting kindergarten and I just started a new job a couple of months ago. Though we hadn’t completely ruled out a second child, we were starting to think that we were one and done. I am still in a state of shock at this point and my husband is not overly excited about this pregnancy. I am hoping he will come around as it will be a long pregnancy otherwise. I am nervous about this pregnancy for a lot of reasons but especially due to my age. My first appointment isn’t until 9/13 which seems so far away! About me— I work in hospitality for a beautiful ocean front resort in New England. DH and I have been married for almost 9 years, but together since we were 17 (21 years this November). I enjoy working out and staying active and I have lost 40 pounds over the last year and a half with the help of an amazing local gym. Looking forward to getting to know you all! I made some very dear friends on A14 bmb that I still keep in touch with and just love the overall community of TB!
I’m Krystal. I’m 32 years old, and I’m from Massachusetts. I’m due 4/30 with baby number 3! I have a 6 year old and a 13 month old, so I’m a bit nervous about having 2 under 2 (even though it’ll just be for a few months). My 13 month old is a vasectomy baby (as well as the bun in the oven), so completely unplanned, but we have enough love to go around. I am looking forward to interacting with you all as we embark on this journey. Hoping we all have happy, healthy pregnancies and deliveries. ❤️
I’m Koyya, 28 years old and FTM. My husband have been trying for 3 months before we got the BFP on 8/25. I just started a new job (8/19) and we just bought our first house (8/23)— needless to say that August has been a big big month! Based on my LMP my EDD is 4/22. I’m super excited but also in major disbelief! My first prenatal appointment is scheduled for Sept 16th, which feels like forever away. I’m more anxious about this wait than the TWW!
As a FTM, I don’t know how to feel but I definitely don’t feel pregnant (yet). The most prominent symptom I’ve had is major bloating. I’m so happy to be a part of this group and go through this journey with you! Particularly in these next two weeks. My husband and I decided to wait until our first prenatal appointment before we share the news with family and friends. That made our house warming party yesterday particularly difficult 😅 Anywho... super excited and all of the other feelings.

Hello! My name is Beth. I will be a second time mom. We have a beautiful two year old daughter that is keeping us on our toes. My EDD is April 27th. We did and IUI with donor sperm. We used the same donor for our daughter. Anxious for the first ultrasound on Friday.
Hello I'm a FTM age 29, moving from North Carolina later this year to south Texas! I have my first prenatal appt set for the 18th. My husband and I are beyond excited! So far only one case of morning sickness, mainly fatigue, gassy, and a bit of bloating with little cramping here and there. Will take any and all advice!
Definitely working out how to use these message boards...sorry everyone!
My name is Lauren MacIntyre and it is looking like I will be due around April 29th, judging by my own calculations! Still haven’t received any kind of a due date. Hoping my ultrasound on the 16th will give us one!
I am a grade 5 teacher in Alberta, Canada and I am 27 years old. This is mine and my husbands first! We only just got married July 27th and decided to “see what would happen” afterwards. Low and behold it looks like we’ve got a honeymoon baby! We are so excited!
I’m about 6.5 weeks along! So far mainly experiencing cramping on and off and pressure, back pain, breast tenderness, LOTS of bloating and some fatigue. No nausea yet! Fingers crossed it stays away!
Hi! I’m Allie and I’m 27. Our EDD is 4/24. This will be my husband and I’s first baby and we are both excited and shocked. We had just started trying and had luck. We’re cautiously optimistic at this point:). I’m a teacher in Ohio and I feel like I could take a 2 hour nap at any point of the day! Not sure if it’s baby or my 26 8 year olds that are wearing me out more.
I'm Kate and I'm 36. My EDD is 4/3 and this will be my and DH's first kiddo. I found out that I had a missed miscarriage at my 10 week ultrasound in February and so I've been hesitant to post anything on here until our 10w appointment. But our appointment was Sep. 5 and everything was good! We even got to see baby move on the ultrasound! I feel like I can start getting excited now!
I'm an environmental lawyer and my DH is a shrimp farmer. We live on a small farm just outside Kansas City. I'm a transplant here from Arizona.
Looking forward to getting to know you all over the coming months and sharing stories!
Hello Everyone,
My name is Chelsea. My EDD is 4/13/2020. This would be my third pregancy. My first two both ending before the could even start. I had two miscarriages within the first few weeks of being pregnant. Both of them I found out I was pregnant when I got to the ER because of the bleeding and the pain.
I have PCOS (Happy PCOS Awareness Month) so it’s been hard to even get pregnant. - This time I found out because I went to the ER for hurting my shoulder. Right before they were about to do the x-ray I brought up that they didn’t make sure I wasn’t pregnant. 🙄 I thought to myself even tho I might not be I still should get the same treatment like any other Woman would before an x-ray. So I did my pee test and waited about 45 minutes before someone came out and apologized for the wait and said “No x-ray for you Mrs, you’ll be headed home and congratulation you and hubby are pregnant”!
I was so excited and scared at the same time. I went home and called my doctor and of course because of my history they had me come in before 8 weeks.
This Monday I’ll be 9 weeks and I’m just so humbled and blessed to have made it this far.
By the way I’ve been married for two years and my husband and I been together since we were 20 and I just turned 27 on Aug. 30th
I’m excited to share this Journey with each of you soon to be mums in April
Hey everyone! My name is Mina, little bit about myself: I am an EMT, navy wife, and new mom! This will be our third pregnancy. I've unfortunately miscarried twice 1st time at 6 weeks 2nd time at 11 weeks so I'm kind of a nervous wreck lol. We had out first ob appointment last Thursday the 5th which they did an ultrasound all they saw was a gestational sac and a yolk sac but no fetal pole yet. The dr told me I'm probably just really early. I had hcg levels check on 2nd at 1595. They haven't given me a time frame yet but is this all normal so far? I'm so nervous about everything. Our next ultrasound is next Monday the 16th.
Hey there ladies! I am Mari, 30, and pregnant with my third child. I live in Milwaukee, WI. I have a 10 year old daughter, and an almost 4 year old son with autism. My husband and I were trying for this one to expand our loving family. He and I have been together for 9 years now. I am a pastry chef and he is an airplane mechanic, so it makes for an interesting family for sure. My kids love airplanes and cakes! 😂
My due date is April 6th and we haven't told our daughter yet because her birthday was last Thursday and we didn't want to take from her shine. But it's coming soon. I hope to get to know you all on our journey together!
@cnm830 I also have PCOS and was diagnosed at 18. Ever since I've always been terrified that getting pregnant was going to be extremely difficult. We got very very very lucky and it did not take us long to get pregnant, but now it's hard to shake the feeling that we might lose it. Still haven't had any tests done yet, so I'm trying not to get too excited until we do, but I hear you on the being surprised at being pregnant with PCOS!
Also, My dentist asked if we should do xrays before I knew I was preggo and I had that same instinct to say maybe not just yet...maybe we secretly knew already?
Good morning! My name is Lisa, I'm 32 and I currently live in northern Virginia. FTM and very excited!
EDD: 4/21/20 based on LMP but I think I ovulated way late and could actually be due in May. First doctor's appointment scheduled for Tuesday so hopefully I'll have a better idea soon!
How you found out: Been testing consistently since 8/7 (with online cheapies) and only just got my BFP on 9/10 with a FRER.
Hobbies, Job, Etc I am an administrator for a residential adolescent eating disorder treatment center. I've been working in the field since 2011 and the people I work with are amazing. They all knew my plans to get pregnant before I even went off birth control, so they were very excited to be the first to know I got my BFP! I like to make things - pottery, jewelry, knitting, baking. I also enjoy nature or just binge watching TV with DH. Also huge Eagles fan!
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Fur babies Just married DH (who will be 33 in October) in June but we've been together more than 5 years. One small rescue dog named Mowgli who's probably about 7. Not sure exactly what he is but something like a schnoodle, havapoo, cockapoo, or shih poo I'm guessing.
Anything you’d like us to know: I herniated a disc on Aug 4th and I'm trying to figure out how to stay active and let my back fully heal. It's been kind of frustrating. Luckily I don't have too much pain now but I'm super nervous to reinjure it! I hope I don't have to change boards and can get to know everybody here!
Hi all!! I'm Amanda! Second time mommy, found out at 3 weeks 4 days on August 11th. Currently 8 weeks. We saw our potato this week for the first time and everything is looking good so far. I am married to the best man in the world for 4 1/2 years and we have a 21 month old daughter named Evelyn and she is the best thing to ever happen to us.
Hi All- I am 34, STM have a 2yr old daughter and have been married almost 4yrs. I was and still am active in my Aug. 17 mom group (those of you on here, I am keeping quiet a bit longer so please keep it to the bump board. Hi @Kathryn0903 )
We are terrified and excited. Due Date 4/26 though we will be a planned c-section, so I expect sooner.
Similar to @themamalion I have a TW-TW-TW history. *TW* Our daughter has a CHD that was diagnosed at 3mos, at 1yr old she had open heart surgery and is doing great. In February of this year, she was joined by a baby brother. He passed away at 6wks old from un-detected, very rare and very random genetic conditions. More than one. It was hell. We are mid way through testing and know that 2 of his conditions (the severe ones that truly impacted him) were in fact rare and random. One of his conditions, we just learned I have and am a carrier of, so he got it from me. It is likely my daughter did too. Luckily, it is minimal in implications, and since we did not know anything til I was 34, we know it shouldn't have too much impact. But, we will not know until we have CVS in a few weeks, if this baby has it as well. I am hoping with everything, that they do not. After everything we have been through, we could use a break.
*End TW*
Overall the words terrified and excited seem right here. The idea of having a baby that doesn't require NICU care, that doesn't require major surgery and that comes home with is, seems like a pipe dream. But I am really hoping for the best.
TW: 1 infant loss 8/17: Our daughter was born 8/18: Our daughter kicked open heart surgery ass 2/19: We lost our son to Prader-Willi/Paradoxical Vocal Cord/ Noonans at 6wks old 4/26/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
@themamalion genetic condition loss here too, and one heart warrior who is 2. Not a club I would wish anyone was a part of, but it is nice to not be solo in the after infant loss journey here. No matter how many tests tell me things look good- I won't believe it til this baby is here and all checked out!

@smallbutmighty77 I'm so sorry for all that you went through, my prayers and thoughts are with you. I hope that this pregnancy is uneventful, with the best test results and a completely healthy baby.
@lisush Herniated discs are so painful!!! A chiropractor who is comfortable with prenatal treatments might be a huge help. Keeping active too as you heal will help, and focusing especially on back and core strengthening. My sister herniated a disc badly years ago and an anti-inflammatory diet helped too. A lot of anti-inflammatory foods are really good in pregnancy too!

They all knew my plans to get pregnant before I even went off birth control, so they were very excited to be the first to know I got my BFP! I like to make things - pottery, jewelry, knitting, baking. I also enjoy nature or just binge watching TV with DH. Also huge Eagles fan!

Just married DH (who will be 33 in October) in June but we've been together more than 5 years. One small rescue dog named Mowgli who's probably about 7. Not sure exactly what he is but something like a schnoodle, havapoo, cockapoo, or shih poo I'm guessing.
Anything you’d like us to know:
I herniated a disc on Aug 4th and I'm trying to figure out how to stay active and let my back fully heal. It's been kind of frustrating. Luckily I don't have too much pain now but I'm super nervous to reinjure it! I hope I don't have to change boards and can get to know everybody here!

Baby number 2 due 4/11/20
I am 34, STM have a 2yr old daughter and have been married almost 4yrs.

Our daughter has a CHD that was diagnosed at 3mos, at 1yr old she had open heart surgery and is doing great.

Overall the words terrified and excited seem right here. The idea of having a baby that doesn't require NICU care, that doesn't require major surgery and that comes home with is, seems like a pipe dream. But I am really hoping for the best.
