@flinstone-2 The RE ordered my progesterone, not the OB, and they are doing the betas even though we hadn’t gone through testing other than initial US. It’s worth asking since you already started your testing and had treatment lined up.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@mercury94 haha yeah that would be crazy! DS was 5 days late so DH is really hoping for a 4/20/2020 baby... I'm just a nervous wreck this time around compared with my first pregnancy. Idk if I know too much or have heard so many things go wrong now that I have more mom friends or what! But I finally decided to join in.
@flinstone-2 I get it. I’m having a harder time waiting for that first ultrasound (it’s tomorrow) than I did the last time. No real reason why I’m so much more nervous. But, I find it much better to have people to talk to.
My DS was 4 days early, so I’m worried about a 4/1 baby. Per LMP, I’m due 4/3, but I think it’s closer to 4/8 or 4/9 based on O. Based on history and our EDDs, it’s unlikely they will be born the same day, but it would be pretty cool.
Hi ladies, My name is Kaela aaaand I just found out I'm having a surprise 4th baby 🙃 I got pregnant with a copper iud in place so I guess I'm part of the 1% now, just not the kind everyone thinks of!
My EDD is 4/16 and I'm still a little shell shocked but DH is excited. We have an 8yo, 7yo, and a 14 month old already, so it looks like I'll have 2 under 2 *again*
We live in Atlanta with our corgi, 3 cats, and pet snake and are huuuuuuuge nerds. It's nice to join y'all, even though I thought my pregnancy days were finally over 😂
I took a wondfo at 10 DPO and it showed the faintest of shadow. I immediately ran out for a FRER and digital, both were clearly positive! I’m slightly worried how my migraines will respond, but I actually had my last Botox treatment 3 days before my BFP, so at least that will cover the first trimester. My Fiancé (39) and I (29) are both alarm dispatchers, but he is also a writer and working on book #8 in his series. We have 2 DS’s from my previous marriage, but this will be our first together. We have one little trash-gremlin kitty we adore (in profile pic). I was a big member of June ‘13 BMB with my first and I’m still friend with a lot of those ladies to this day. I slacked on my second though. Hopefully this tome around I’ll get to know you all better!
bows22 aww thanks!!! I know I have been super hesitant to post. I actually never joined a BMB with DS I was always too afraid! But I want to join in this time
My EDD based on LMP is April 24. Both DH (37) and I (33) are first time parents, and right now trying to figure out what doctor to see. We live in South Philly with 3 cats.
Last cycle was our first time trying, so it was intentional but we were both shocked it took so fast. Now we're scrambling to get things in order. I have a history of chronic illness so I'm super anxious something will go wrong, tho the last couple years I've been basically symptom free.
I cant wait until baby (we nicknamed it Penguin 😂) is a little further along and I can feel a little more reassured it will stick. I love it so much already!
STM here, my son was born October 2018, and this is a happy surprise pregnancy for my DH and I. We had trouble conceiving the first time around - it took a year and a half, lots of tests and a couple medicated cycles. We expected to have to wait until the first one weaned before being able to try again, as the meds aren’t safe while nursing.
We’re both 35 and live in Vancouver BC with our dog Leonard. I’m a project coordinator with our local health authority, or will be when I return from leave in a few weeks.
ETA Just had my dating ultrasound today and am due April 7
EDD (Estimated Due Date): April 29, 2020 - How you found out: 3 days late, took an at home test and here we are - Hobbies, Job, Etc: I am a Performance Assurance Analyst for a large insurance company. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: My name is Shanna and I am happily married of 5 years (Billy), have 2 children, Gavin 10 years and Archer 14 months. We also have a mini zoo which includes 2 dogs and 2 cats. - Anything you’d like us to know: it's still really early in this pregnancy but I am super nervous. This was unexpected but not unwanted. I am having some mom guilt too- my youngest is still a baby and I feel sad that I will be having another so soon and worried he won't get as much of my attention that he needs and deserves. Any advice or kind words any of you may have, is greatly appreciated. I was previously a part of the June 2018 board and found much comfort in other womens' advice and experiences. Congratulations to all of you!

Hi everyone! I’m Kari. I’m 37, DH is 36 and we’ve been married for 4 years. We have SD 6, DD1 3, DD2 10 months. I was part of the Jan 16 and Oct 18 BMBs. Due date looks like 4/24 and this baby was completely unplanned!!! I’m in a little bit of shock and scared S-less, DH is super happy. I don’t have much in the way of hobbies other than working out when I can make some time and I love to bake and cook. DH works full time, goes to grad school, and coaches a college sports team so adding another kid with our crazy schedule should be interesting! Both DH and I work in health Insurance at the same company.
Hi everyone! I’m due April 2 with my third baby! I’m a stay at home mom . We had been planning a third pregnancy, so we weren’t surprised at all when we found out! I enjoy CrossFit with my husband (we met at the gym in college), cooking, and reading in my spare time. This is my first time using “The Bump” and I look forward to being a part of this community!
Hello Everyone! STM to a beautiful Rainbow Baby Girl born Dec 2017. I was cautious about joining. I had quit tracking all fertility. I have an idea when my LMP was but no definitive start or end date. No idea ovulation date, it’s usually delayed.
After having a few symptoms (tender breast, bloat & stuffy nose), along with a dream I decided to test. 8/15 positive. I’ve taken more test since, all positive. Started prenatals, scheduled visit on 9/4 because of my anxiety — our OB squeezed me in for ultrasound.
We had an ultrasound on 8/22 - no gestational sac. OB ordered 48 hour blood draws. Finished the last one this morning. Results on Mon. Follow up ultrasound on Tue. Dr based info off of my “guess dates” after appt I realized...I just can’t confirm any of it. Symptoms have diminished for now.
Husband and I work in Government. I was a lurker on the Dec 17 group. I would love to stay and mix/mingle more.
Youll be surprised how much love you have to go around. You’ll also be equally surprised at how much independence your first born will display over the next few days, weeks & months. You’ll do amazing!
Hey! I'm Haley! EDD: April 3 How you found out: I have always been irregular, so when we started TTC the end of May, we were cautiously optimistic about how long it could actually take. We actually found of for sure with a digital test after 3 other tests with varying results. We were able to tell our families the morning that my brother left for his permanent duty station across the country, so we were over the moon to get to tell him in person! Hobbies, jobs, etc: I work at a large corporate car dealership in the office and am the administrator in our weekly auto auction (which I LOVE). DH is a barista at Starbucks and will be starting his degree in Avionics next month. Spouse, kids, pets: DH and I have been together just under 5 years and married for almost 1 (we got married on our last anniversary). We will both be first time parents, so it's certainly a learning curve. We have 2 big mutts and a cat with a club foot.
Hello my name is Tamara and I am a mother of 4 children ages 22,g 21,g11,b and 16months girl . I am married and we were actually preventing pregnancy but God had other plans so I am 6wks1d pregnant with an EDD of April 18,2020 my last baby was born April 6,2018. I am a supervisor for school district of Philadelphia. I found out I am pregnant when I went to my Gynecologist appointment to get birth control and my dr comes in and says we can’t give you any because your test came back positive 😳 not something I wanted to here but I’m grateful and I hope to get to know you all I’m gonna need support my husband isn’t very happy 🙁
Hello everyone!
I’m Candra, in south Louisiana, 30 y/o, & a FTM so extremely nervous & excited.
My EDD as of now is 4/22. I haven’t had my first appt yet so I’m very thankful to find support here!
My my husband and I have been together for 6 years, married for 1.5 years, and we have a 10 year long haired chiweenie.
I enjoy my work- selling real estate, football, refurbishing furniture, & concerts!
Hello ladies! It's been a while since I've been on TB (I left with the group after the implosion) but my normal haunt is pretty dead on the BMBs. So! DH and I live in New Brunswick, Canada. We've got a dog, a cat, and a 14 month old DS. I got my BFP last night after trying since March (I'm slow to turn tests so it was nearly a week after my missed period) and from the calculations EDD is April 28th (my dad's birthday!) I have a history of losses - I lost 2 first tri pregnancies about 5 years ago, and last month I had a chemical, so I could use all the good thoughts and wishes for another sticky baby. Because of my losses I'm high risk, and will be on aspirin and heparin injections throughout the pregnancy. I also had cholestasis with my son so I'm hoping it doesn't come back but I'm prepared if it does. Nice to meet you!
Momma to 3 angels and two amazing children
F born June 2018 W born September 2020 #3 due November 2022
Hey all, I've been holding off on introducing myself because (TW) I had a chemical last month. But I'm feeling optimistic so here I am.
My name is Martha, and I'm a STM. My kiddo is 2.5 and I'm still close with my D16 group. I live in upstate New York with my husband, DS, and 2 mutt dogs (and a rotating population of pigs and sheep, we have a farm).
I split my time between farm work, freelance writing, and childcare. If I had free time I'd knit, hike, and perfect my sourdough bread baking.
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy pregnancy journey!
Hi Mamas! I'm a voice actor and bridal consultant, my hubby and I have a pug, a cat, and we're about to get a mini Dachshund puppy. We just got married May 25th and I found out I'm pregnant on August 20th! I have PCOS and was convinced it would take us so much longer to conceive and that we might need interventions to help so I'm pretty surprised (and feeling very very lucky). I'd been tracking my cycles for months and they were so irregular that I thought we would need medical assistance in getting pregnant.
Estimated due date is April 19th, but we haven't had an ultrasound to confirm yet. I think more likely due around April 25th since my cycles run longer, and when I took a test on August 12th I didn't see a second line. I wasn't even going to take another test because I was disheartened that it would be negative, but my period tracker told me I should take one so I kind of begrudgingly took one. I turned to leave the room to give it three minutes and the second line was already there, and dark!!!
I've told a few very close friends and am telling my family tomorrow and my hubby's family this weekend on his birthday! My brother and his fam are going on a world tour for his sabbatical and get back in late April so they might be just in time!
Hi ladies. Just got my BFP yesterday. I have 2 boys - 7 and 3. I am cautiously optimistic at this point as I have had 3 losses since having my youngest, all of which were lost around 9 weeks. My EDD would be April 30th - so the very end of the month. Hoping for a healthy pregnancy not only to myself, but everyone here!
Hello Everyone. I am Amanda. I just found out on Saturday with a trip for the emergency room for some pretty scary symptoms, that ended up being just a hormonal migraine headaches, that I am actually pregnant. My Husband and I were both on complete shock. We are very excited and all the other emotions that come along with this process. We have two DDs 5 and 2. Prior to Saturday we were not sure what our final number of kids would be but now we know it will be 3. EDD 4/30 I REALLY want a April Baby. The first of May is already to crazy for us. So It would be great is that day got moved up. Since this is my first pregnancy I didn't calculate everything down to the minute I am excited to see how this goes. Looking forward do getting to do this all over again and getting to meet all of you!
Hi all! My name is Shannon and based on LMP I have an EDD around 4/23(ish?) DH and I had just started talking about trying for a third. I’d been super exhausted and was a few days late and got a BFP much to my surprise.
DD1 is 3 and DD2 will be 2 in December (I see you @kln62689 - Congrats!) Username used to be skcobb but I figured I’d go for a change 🤷🏻♀️
Hoping this baby is sticky - I was stupidly sick with both girls until around 25 weeks (and was throwing up before I got BFPs with either of them) but have had no nausea so far. Fingers crossed it just means I won’t be spending quite as much time hanging over a toilet this go-around!
Hey ladies! I'm expecting baby number 3 april 28. Just found out today after deciding to take a test because I was late. My husband just started a new job and we are in the process of moving, I am a substitute teacher. We have 2 boys that are 3 and 1 year old. We are from Alberta. My hobbies are mostly craft related, I crochet and knit but like to read and binge Netflix🙂
Hi all! I’m Holly, 31, a SAHM, and expecting my 3rd baby. My EDD is 4.16. My DS is 4.5 and my DD will be 2 on 9.19. We had been NTNP since December, but began actively trying in June. I got my BFP one day before my missed period.

This will actually be my 4th pregnancy. My second pregnancy resulted in an ectopic that required the methotrexate shot in June 2016. I had my dating ultrasound this morning and got to see that our little jelly bean was exactly where it should be, so the fears of a recurring ectopic have been released now and I’m ready to enjoy the rest of the pregnancy.

Hello there! I'm a long time lurker too!. I had similar symptoms during my first pregnancy (tender breast etc). My ovulation date is delayed too, that's why I'm using several tests at once to check my ovulation. A pair of ClearBlue sticks as well as others like pregmate). Maybe you should try this method too.
Hi! I’m excited to be here! - EDD: April 2 - How you found out: had a negative hpt on July 24 and wasn’t convinced so I “wasted” another test on July 27 and it was positive! - Hobbies, Job: I design houses at a preservation-minded architecture firm. I love to read and paint. - Spouse, Partner, Kids: Ive been with my husband since 2008 and married 5 years. This is our first pregnancy but we are obsessive dog parents! - Anything you’d like us to know: I am nervous about how much I don’t know...what is swaddling? How do you use a breast pump? Do you really need a bassinet? Everything else I’ve done in life I could master by studying (or going to school for years and years). This is the first thing I think I’m just going to have to admit I’m not going to know how to do 100% on day one.
Hi 👋 finally feel good about coming in here. I am 7w 3d with my second. Was a member of J17 for my DD. Had second ultrasound today and everything looks good. First one was not as good since my uterus can be difficult so it ended up being an external ultrasound and couldn’t get good pictures.
*TW* I did pop in on another bmb a couple months ago but found no heartbeat and ended up taking miso to miscarry after I was about 10 weeks with no progress.
DH and I have had to do IVF for our babies due to MFI. To get this little embaby it took three cycles alone. We have one more frozen that we hopefully won’t have to use. As we are finished with two.
So far I am pretty nauseous but no other symptoms which is pretty great since I am on estrogen and progesterone and those cause crazy stuff to happen.
@littleredm Awesome! I've been in the industry for about 2.5 years, with an agency for 2 of those. My training is in musical theatre but I took a workshop in voiceover and fell in love!
@independentgeorge You'll figure things out. Not sure if this will be comforting to hear, but every baby really is different, so you can't know in advance exactly what will work for them.
Hi ladies! I'm a FTM and EDD is April 27. I found out on Saturday morning and we were both over the moon about the news! Im from Pennsylvania and I'm finishing up chiropractic school in December and will be working at the practice I'm interning at now. I have 4 furbabies, 2 cats and 2 dogs who all have definitely felt the shift in my hormones because will not leave me alone Haha! So far I've been nauseas, bloated, and completely exhausted but glad to be here!
Hello!!! My name is Renee. SAHM to 2; DS 3.5 and DD 1.5. My EDD is April 6. This go around wasn’t exactly planned, was supposed to happen later in the year instead but that’s ok, I had a few questionable symptoms before I even tested (nausea, no hunger, bad food aversions, and don’t even get me going on smells) finally day 1 of my missed period, I tested and I’ve never gotten such a dark or quick positive before.
These go around is kicking my butt. I’ve never felt so terrible every single day! I didn’t have sickness with my other two. So hopefully it stops after first trimester is over!!

Congrats everyone!!!
