@kiki047 and anyone else that was discussing this. I have to agree with @lulu1180@Avrilmai and @chichiphin I am by no means an "expert" in the IF department, but the ladies there are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. Initially I was intimidated joining, but everyone is so supportive, no matter where you are in your ttc journey. I can't speak for all the ladies, but I know I personally do not go into all the other threads here on TTGP. I tend to stick to a select few, so you could lose out on input from knowledgeable sources.
Thanks @nitnat007. I just want to make it clear that I wasn’t trying to avoid the IF thread, I just didn’t want to hijack their discussions with no intention of “joining” the IF group just yet. That felt like a driveby kinda post where I may interact for a little while for the purposes of having any questions answered, then I’d wander back to the dailies where I primarily hang out because I’m not considered IF yet... does that make sense?

@kiki047 I completely understand what you're saying. For me, the give and take on the IF thread allows me to experience a bit of altruism. As much as IF sucks, and I would never wish it on anyone, I do get to impart information and help out fellow woman to understand or offer support for what to expect. I lurked the IF thread for a long time and even now, when people have questions they pop in and ask. I know I went in to my OB appointment armed with information and to my first RE appointment with even more. I know tone is hard to convey in typed words, but I want you to know the invitation stands and is very genuine.

^^ WSS Questions coming from a regular poster on any thread throughout TTGP would not be considered a "one-off" post in the IF thread. At least, that is how I see it. Everyone is always happy to help out wherever possible. @kiki047 but I totally get what you are saying.
@kiki047 (and any others who feel the same way) I don't want to speak for all of the ladies in the IF thread but at the same time, I think the vast majority of them agree with us. I know exactly how you feel, the thread is intimidating and it took me 6 months to actually post there after my initial RE appointment (although that was probably more that I was in denial about the fact that I was dealing with IF). We all try to make it as friendly as possible and the one big rule of the IF thread is that LOs are not mentioned unless it is really and truly pertinent to the conversation (which it almost never is). I can tell that you are very empathetic and would never intentionally say something hurtful. And if you accidentally did, one of us would very nicely tell you what you said wrong and what you can say in the future to make it better. We want everyone to feel welcome to post there if you have questions about any testing or if you are possibly moving on to treatment. Dealing with IF on any level is stressful and we want to help make it a little less stressful.
TLDR The IF thread is the most awesome bunch of ladies I've ever had the pleasure of "knowing" and we want to help others and share our knowledge

What's funny is, Christmas decorations are in stores now, but a lot of the radio stations near me won't play 24/7 Christmas songs until like a week before Christmas or they have a Christmas music hour during the day. When I had SiriusXM in my car, some of the Christmas stations only played for like 5 days!! Put a totally damper on my Christmas spirit in the days leading up to it. The 1 station they did have playing after Thanksgiving was their Holiday Traditions station which was all the old songs from the 60s. No modern pop Christmas songs there

Our local professional soccer team is playing in their league championship and his favorite college basketball team’s first game is tonight so he has one on the TV and one on his computer 🤦🏼♀️ Love that they’re passionate, but goodness!

I'm pretty sad today to find in my BMB lurking that a couple of our TTGP-grads have had losses. Even though I don't know them personally, I am just heartbroken for them.
