Thanks @sungirl39 @madasm0530 I was stressed about it initially - but I guess I'm glad it was caught now and I can just keep an eye on it. Plus I've been feeling extremely tired recently so hopefully the higher does will give me more energy :)
@kristimh80 Ha! I'm having so many blonde moments these days   I was slightly hoping that transfer would be on his birthday but this is probably better :) When will you get your date?
@northbeach3 Thank you! The one part of this I've never had a problem with before is my lining - but I was still anxious <3
@singlegeneme cautious optimism is great for the moment. Woo-hoo - here's to another darkening line <3<3<3

@mrsyng Yay - Best of luck today <3 a massage sounds like a wonderful idea. I know it's really hard to do but I guess try to relax as much as possible at the interview when it comes around. Internal interviews are always the worst and I'm sure the hormones are not helping your state of mind - so I'd just try to keep it simple and focus on what you've already achieved and why you're up for the promotion. Deep breaths and consider the big picture - you'll be carrying some precious cargo at that time <3

  • @mrsyng Best of luck on your promotion interviews!!

@roisis I'm convinced estrogen meds make "blonde moments" even more common! Yesterday at work, numerous times I asked myself..."now what was I doing again"? lol Looks like my lining check won't be until the 29th, so assume, biopsy will be June 5th. Somehow I seem to always teeter between 2 months.

  • I went to test this morning and realized I accidentally bought a box of FRER digitals...I decided just to use it since I am 9.5dp5dt.

Soooo, I was super excited to get a "yes +" on it...I felt so confident that I tried a Clear blue digital, which ended up "not pregnant."  Ughhhhh SUCKS, preparing myself for a CP.
  • Thinking of those ladies who have late May transfers and have my fingers crossed for you.

So sorry to hear the news @sungirl39

Congrats to those who have gotten their BFP's this month.

I hope everyone is doing well and just wanted to check in <3
  • oh no, @sungirl39! i don't fully know the difference between those two types of tests... is the CBD supposed to be more or less sensitive than the FRER digitals?  have you been testing daily? i sure hope it was a fluke.

waves to @greenhillgirl! any early symptoms? when's your first US?

Thanks ladies for all the support with the FET and upcoming interview!

We transferred 2 embabies 4ab, 4ba (which I believe is what they said they were; I was a bit loopy from the Valium). I have no understanding of the grading but the embryologist said they were excellent! We had brunch and now I’m just a couch potatoe for the remainder of the day!

Woo hoo! What beauties @mrsyng! Take it easy today! :)

i believe 4 corresponds to stage — in this case, expanded blastocyst (the inside of the embryo has expanded into a cavity and inner cell mass.  Level 5 is starting to hatch out of outer shell and 6 is fully hatched from shell.

The first letter corresponds to the rating of the inner cell mass. The second letter corresponds to the outer ring of cells (trophies-something)

A = many cells, tightly clustered
B = some cells, loosely clustered
    C = few cells, disorganized

Ideally anything above BB is considered good

Thanks so much @northbeach3 I believe you may be correct!!
  • @sungirl39 I’m so sorry - I have true empathy for what you are going through. I got a positive on a clear blue digital last year, and it still ended in a chemical. So, I basically don’t trust them. I like comparing lines.

@kristimh80 Yup - I am super-blonde at the moment!! (just realised I bought a t-shirt gift for DH in completely the wrong size  ) An I always seem to be either straddling two months or at the end of the month too!

@sungirl39 Oh no I'm so sorry. I remember someone saying that hcg has to be above 50 to trigger a digi, I'm not sure if that's helpful or not (but there's no such thing as a 'faint' positive with a digi) I guess just hang on for Beta on Monday <3<3

@mrsyng Congrats - what beautiful little embabies <3 How did you find the valium? I'll be taking it too and I've never taken it (in tablet form) before.

Hey @greenhillgirl   How are you feeling these days?? Did your nausea subside?

@northbeach3 Thanks for that info! My clinic doesn't give the number - just the 2 letters and they did mention the hatching stages of each so tis good to know :)

  • I am in the part of my 2ww where I have insomnia because I'm overheated and filled with anxiety. I slept for 5 hours last night. I also had to take tylenol last night for my non-stop cramping. I've been having mild (sometimes moderate) cramping and lower back pain 24 hours a day for the past 2 days. I am guessing that my progesterone is pretty high right now. I am 8dp5dt today and tested with another FRER this morning (results in spoiler).

The FRER was definitely darker today and I could see the line start to show up at 30 seconds. I'm glad I waited 2 days to test again, because it made it easy to compare.  I am excited, but also so so so scared that it's still going to turn out to be a chemical pregnancy. Also, my husband can't handle the HPT rollercoaster, so I've just been hiding my tests from him. He doesn't want to know anything until the beta. Ugh, I really hope this time works.

I can't get my posts to fully submit. And I'm just in tears ughh.
  • i totally empathize with you @singlegeneme.  you're much further along so the symptoms make total sense. with my last bfp, i def was feeling them by 7dpt (with confirmed beta at 6dpt). i do hope that means there's lots of hcg flowing and indicative of a bean that's sticking.  are you kinda "suffering in silence" bc you're not sharing your symptoms with the DH either?  it's a real beast and i think what contributed to my insomnia/anxiety before.

i'm only 3dpt and i'm trying to talk my brain off the ledge. i'm already having insomnia and frequent urination in the night and thinking i'm having light nausea but there's no way i'd test this early... so i'm going to just have to remain hopeful and remember that i'm PUPO.

oh no, @athena_park ... we're anxiously awaiting your update! hope you can get it figured out... maybe use laptop/desktop instead of mobile?

@roisis the Valium was great! It kicked in quickly for me and I was super relaxed so it really helped with the transfer.

    Thanks @kristimh80 & @athena_park
  • @SingleGeneMe Excited for you! Such a good move waiting two days.

    @mrsyng Gorgeous embabies!

AFM, I've been really sad since taking that horrible Clear Blue digital.  I actually moved up my BW to this morning...even had a glass of wine last night, figured I was out.

But my RE called this afternoon to congratulate me on my pregnancy. I was a bit confused to say the least!  My beta was 25, which sounds awfully low to me, but my RE said there is no reason to be concerned unless it doesn't double on Monday, he then asked why I came in two days early, oops!  Sooo, no more wine for me..at least until Monday night. And the waiting continues...

  • roisisroisis member
@singlegeneme That sounds very promising! Sorry DH isn't on the same page as you - I agree with @northbeach3 - that must surely be adding anxiety. At least Beta tomorrow will give you both an answer GL xxx

@athena_park Oh no - are you still having trouble posting? Have you tried posting without tagging anyone? Sometimes the '@' has caused me problems. Also - maybe try from a different platform/OS if you have the opportunity? I don't like to hear you're in tears and unable to tell us why, I'm sure at 5dpt you must be feeling the anxiety now. That's the horrible phase whereby the elation of the transfer is gone but it's too early to test or have symptoms. We understand. Take care <3<3

@sungirl39 Yaaaay!!! Well that's a good lesson for us not to trust early hpts!! I was going to take a digi myself but I may rethink that now. Delighted for you - GL for doubling by tomorrow.

AFM, just took my first Crinone. Forgot how Bllllleeeeeuuuuuuuurggghhhhhhhh they are

  • big week this week!

fx for super strong betas, @sungirl39 and @SingleGeneMe!  do your clinics leave voicemails or do you have to catch their call/call the clinic?

@roisis; only four days now! have you had your lining check? any rituals this week?

AFM, spent weekend googling hatching blasts and implantation days and earliest HPTs.  i know, terrible.  (hangs head in shame)  but seeing other's early HPTs brings me hope. maintained enough willpower to not test... but trying to tell myself i'm not crazy at the symptoms i've been experiencing.  vivid dreams, frequent peeing in the night, possible mild nausea, and fatigue -- two mid-afternoon naps last two days.  also sore nipples, but i can chalk that up to the PIO. before my first BFP, i definitely think i had some psychosomatic hopefulness going on... but what i'm feeling feels similar to last bfp.  well... clearly i need more distractions in my life... can't believe i'm saying i'm happy it's going to be monday tomorrow so work will distract me.  damn you IF!!

    best of luck everyone!

@northbeach3 I’ve been googling like crazy this weekend too. when to except hatching, implantation... it’s hard not to. I can’t wait for your beta! 2 more days!

@roisis it’s almost time for your big FET! Hopefully, everything is looking good!!

@SingleGeneMe  & @sungirl39  praying for strong betas tomorrow!! Fx!

I’m testing out my trigger and it appears to be almost completely out of my system. I had some twinges/cramps all night and early
this morning but I can’t differentiate if they’re from my uterus or my left ovary. Other than that I have no symptoms.

Hi,  I introduced myself last week  Thursday was my FET. I'm feeling positive but trying not to get too anxious about it. I'm feeling very mild, but similar symptoms as last time..

Hi @LynnNJ I didn’t realize you were the day before me. Congrats to being PUPO too. When are you scheduled for beta? Any possibility of poas prior to beta?
  • roisisroisis member
GL today for Betas to both @SingleGeneMe and @sungirl39 . We'll be thinking of ye <3<3

@northbeach3 I'm actually not getting another lining check. My clinic seems quite hands-off for this FET, they just said last week that my lining was already good enough to plan the transfer so I just go on my luteal support and come back on Thursday. I'm sitting here eating pineapple core - it's not so bad :) I'll also be getting acu, but other than that I'm not going to stress too much over the rituals - I think they'd make me more nervous!
And I completely understand about stressing over symptoms!! Only 2 days to go until Beta and you can stop wondering <3<3
Likewise @mrsyng I know how frustrating this must be. Have you anything to distract you this week?
@LynnNJ Congrats on being PUPO :)

    Happy Monday everyone!!!

Ugggggh, I'm having a total brain melt-down at work today, I can't seem to kick my mind into gear at all. I actually can't focus on the one thought for more than a few seconds. I've had bad concentration days before but this is ridiculous. It doesn't help that I'm supposed to be re-writing a Conclusion for a paper - so I'm supposed to have a very definite opinion on things and I can't even make a decision as to what to have for lunch. And EVERYONE is annoying me. I think I might have to call it a day an write this day off altogether. I don't know if it's hormones or stress or what, but I can't concentrate and I don't want to talk to anyone. I feel somewhere in between wanting to scream and wanting to burst out crying (that does sound suspiciously hormonal....) I might work from home for a few days....
Is anyone else suffering from a serious lack of concentration at the moment??

  • @SingleGeneMe @sungirl39 Best of luck today ladies!

@roisis Omg no, you aren't alone!!! Ever since I started back on my estrogen pills...I've been a scatterbrained mess! At work, I have to focus on one thing at a time and if someone is chatting to me while I'm doing a spreadsheet, etc I have to stop everything because I forget what I'm doing! And on the moody side of things...my DH keeps asking what's wrong with me because I'm short and snappy lately! Stinks because last month...estrogen was amazing and I was so happy on it. Now hot mess central! lol

I slept horribly last night - maybe 3 hours total of sleep. I had really bad cramping (still do), even while taking extra-strength tylenol. This caused even more anxiety than I was already having over my beta today. I'll be taking a half-day at work today. I asked my IVF coordinator to leave me the details of my beta in a voicemail, so I can wait until I'm home with DH to hear the results. I took another FRER test today (results in spoiler):

So, my test today was not quite as dark as 2 days ago. I felt like my urine concentration was the same and both were 6-hour holds, so I think I having another chemical pregnancy. The line is still dark, but it took longer to show up than 2 days ago. I don't know. I feel like even if the number is high enough, it won't be going up. I'm guessing that all of the terrible cramping is a sign of a c/p as well. I will update with beta results later tonight.

  • I hate IF!!! @SingleGeneMe I’m so sorry your variable test lines are stressing out and will only be prolonged until you get your second beta. I pray it’s just wonky test strips and you’re still in the game.

@roisis I think we’re all a little scatterbrained lately. Damn anxiety!  Working from home could be a good option. At least you have fewer people to snap at. Haha

Welcome back @LynnNJ !  When is your beta?

Still holding out our hope for you too @sungirl39

afm, trying not to read into less symptoms today. YEAH RIGHT. Ugh. One more day, keep it together woman!!

@roisis IF and hormones will do that to you! Sometimes you just have to say EFF it and take some time for yourself! Your mental sanity is WAY more important than work!

@SingleGeneMe I’m really hoping for good results when you and your H listen to that voicemail tonight .

@sungirl39 FX for good news tonight and just so you don’t feel bad most women don’t even know they’re pregnant at the point you know and I’m sure many women have consumed much more than one glass of wine before they find out they’re KU and have perfectly healthy babies... Don’t sweat it!

@LynnNJ Congrats in PUPO! Also I’m in NJ too!! What clinic are you at? I’m at RMA!

    @mrsyng When is your beta??
  • @northbeach3 Hang in there girl!! I've got everything crossed for you for a great day tomorrow!!

@SingleGeneMe Praying for you for good news come this evening and you have nothing to worry about <3

@roisis I have no other distraction other than looking forward to being off on Thursday & Friday for a short mini getaway and lots of netflix, Hulu.  I initially wanted to order a large jigsaw puzzle to work on but I never got around to it.

@ndz2018 beta was originally schedule for 8 & 10dpt but since we will be out of town, we have to push it out to 10/12dtp 5/28 & 5/30 and won’t know the results of both until 5/30. I asked DH when I can start testing and he said 5/26 which would be my first beta. But let’s see if I can hold out that long. :smirk:

    still praying for you @SingleGeneMe
  • @roisis I feel the same way....my hormones have me acting crazy and I am very very moody one minute, then super happy 30 minutes later.

@SingleGeneMe I'm feeling really anxious about a CP too, I've never had one before so not sure what to expect.  I don't have cramping yet, I assume the progesterone is keeping it at bay.  FX for you!

AFM, I tried another FRER this morning...not significantly darker.  Bummed. I went to get the BW done this morning and the nurse messed up..the needle popped out and blood was going everywhere, UGH! I thought I was going to faint...plus, after cleaning it up she had to redo it my other arm. :(
  • @sungirl39 Oh my goodness!! You poor thing! So sorry you had to go thru all of that today! Hopefully, you're wrong and everything is just fine <3

@sungirl39 oh my! I’m sorry you had to experience that. I don’t do well with needles and thankfully I didn’t see it when the nurse who did my iv port for ER accidentally let
go of the stopper. Hopefully you won’t be bruised. When I last went to in for bloodwork the phlebotomist bruises my arm quite horribly. The bruise was 1.5 inches away from the draw site and approx 2 inches long and still hasn’t complelely healed.
