@roisis -- yes, you interpreted right. the test results came back "normal female" but the RE/testers cannot say with certainty that the sample wasn't contaminated with my own cells (which would also read normal female). the ambiguity certainly is frustrating... but i was prepared for this ambiguous result this time. My MC was 2 weeks earlier so the tissue sample would have been much smaller and the doc said the cells may not have grown as well. (shrugs) Already got my thrombophillia panel back and the RE said every thing looked normal, so another big shrug. however, i still have HCG in my system -- came back at 8!
@mayflower513 -- my RE strongly recommends against thawing, PGS testing, and then re-freezing. he said of my four remaining embryos, two were frozen on day 5 and could, in theory, be tested... but the two that were frozen on day 6 would not likely survive thaw/refreeze/thaw. Financially, it doesn't make sense to spend the 5k to test the two frozen on day 5. at this point, i'm hoping that the odds may ever be in my favor for the next transfer b/c the only plausible explanation for the past two MC's is abnormal embryos.
the summer's winding down and work is picking back up, but i'll still keep an eye on the boards and chime in when relevant. sending good vibes for upcoming prenatal tests for y'all.
