@theglitteredpterodactyl no it was not - thank god! I had a super full bladder to help. How far along are you? I'm sure they would see more detail if it were transvaginal.
I had my ultrasound today no pictures though. They said I'm 6 weeks along and baby heartbeat is low, 96 but my MIL who is a retired OB said they shouldn't have bothered trying to measure the heartbeat that early. I have to go back in 2 weeks!
Starting to get nervous butterflies...I have my dating scan today at 1:35. There's been no indication of anything being wrong so far, but it's always so nerve wracking beforehand. Fingers crossed for happy, sticky bean growing away in there with a visible heartbeat. I'm 6+3 today (in theory)...my big concern is that maybe it'll be too early to see anything and then I'll stress until they can get me in again. I had such a horrible experience last time around. Really hoping to avoid that this time.

@spk112, I'm on Hawai`i time, so I still have another 2 and a half hours of twiddling my thumbs. Trying to be patient. I was fine until yesterday and the nerves started creeping in. I think all of us probably feel that way before the first one, though, right?

That litte flicker of a heartbeat never gets old. Measuring exactly where I'm supposed to be at 6+2 (baby measured two days ahead, but that's completely within limits) and suddenly this pregnancy feels real.

I love seeing all these little beans! I am nervous as well for mine next Tuesday. I'll be exactly 8 weeks. I'm taking solace in my nonstop nausea, throwing up and food aversions as good signs!
Had my first ultrasound yesterday. Dated at 6w5d with a new EDD of July 6th. HB was 133bpm. It is very cool to be able to see the little one even though it wanted to hide from the camera. 6
Had my U/s yesterday. Sac measured 7 weeks, just where I'm supposed to be based on knowledge. However no fetal pole was detected. she said this is why she doesn't like to do u/s prior to 8-9 weeks. Went for blood work yesterday and will go again on Fri. Next u/s scheduled in 2 weeks. I'm so nervous as I have a feeling things will not work out. Can't sleep, eat or get my mind off of what is going on. Any advise? Thank you.
Had my first ultrasound today since I wasn't sure how far along I was. I measured 6 weeks. Going back in two weeks for another ultrasound to confirm everything is progressing as it should. Not the best picture but it works!
My full report of my ultrasound the other day (6 weeks) came back and there's a small subchorionic hemorrhage, doctor isn't worried; anyone have experience with this? I'll so anxious about it

I haven't but I swear somebody else was just talking about having one with a previous pregnancy that just went away after awhile.
I had my first ultrasound at 5 weeks with just a gestational sac (scary!) and I had a second one last week at 6 weeks and we had a heartbeat!!!! This is pregnancy #6 for me with only 1 making it. Had complications for my son and had 3 m/c in less than a year so my Dr is being extra cautious. I feel like this is it though!!!

Hugs to you... all I can advise is rest and distraction. If it is meant to be it is meant to be. Good luck!
Lovine all the pics... assuming I don't spot with this one (I did with my first) I will get to hear the heartbeat at about 10 weeks and I think the dating ultrasound is at 16 weeks.... that's a month and two away!!
@ericandmaria I also had a small subchorionic hemorrhage. They usually get worried about large ones but less than 2-3 sonometers usually poses no threat.
My ultrasound dated me 1.5 weeks behind what I thought. We are now 6 weeks 3 days, due July 10. Ultrasound taken at 6w1d showed HR of 96, which they said was a little low but they'll repeat the u/s in 2 weeks.
Love seeing all the pics! DH and I got an extra surprise at our scan today. We are sooooo cautiously optimistic due to a history of recurrent m/c but for today we are very happy. I'm 6w1d and we got to hear two heartbeats. They are on the slower side But the dr said it's totally normal given the time frame. Will be anxious to see what happens in the next week (will have another scan at 7w). Also I Am on mobile doc sorry if the pic is huge. *edited for typo.- I
Re: Ultrasounds
I wish the tech would have done transvag for me. OH well. Should I be concerned that the HB was only 103 at 6w2d?
