Younger BIL just got back with his most definitely crazy baby mama. Last time they were together she accused the entire family of some terrible things. Apparently my mil is excited they are together for the sake of the baby.

Me and my SIL already have the popcorn ready for the drama...

So this weekend turned out pretty well--my dad drove up 5hrs to come visit and put together the nursery furniture with DH. It went well and everything is set up and ready for me to decorate with posters! Dad and I went out for breakfast just the two of us which was really nice. He spent the time reassuring me that I can do this whole "mom thing" and telling me what a wonderful father my husband is going to make.

My dad wasn't super on board when I announced my pregnancy, especially since we were only a month away from the wedding. But he is so excited and got really emotional about what a great man my husband is/what a good team we make. Awwwww!

@Stace0616 that's amazing! I'm glad your dad is so supportive. I'm super jealous that you had him and your husband to put together the furniture. My dad makes it clear to everyone that he doesn't like my bf (and he never has a reason why) so I could never imagine him putting together nursery furniture with him. Andplusalso I'm the handy one in the relationship. My bf hates assembling furniture and stuff. Luckily I've liked doing stuff like that since I was little so we have balance lol

I need a minute to brag about that steak I made!!! It was a perfect medium and so flavorful! I'm so excited because my bf always does the steak but he's at work and I really wanted one. I always over or under cook steaks. I can't wait to tell my bf.

So my bf reminded me last night that my birthday is coming up. I have to admit that I'm not that excited for it. My twin might be in NY so this'll be our first birthday apart ever and my bf will be at work until about 11 o'clock that night and it's valentines day. I'll probably just treat myself to an overpriced meal and stay in.

I'm not a huge pop fan but i give Bruno Mars major props. People talked crap about him performing half time. He really proved himself. He's one of the few pop artists who write his own stuff. He gave an awesome performance and I loved that he opened up playing drums.
Also loved Red Hot Chili Peppers playing for a bit.
Overall, game sucked but halftime was great.

Also, can't wait to have some beers at the next SuperBowl!

Is it bad to unfriend someone on facebook because they are constantly posting about vaccines causing autism? I realize she has an autistic son and that must be difficult.

Thinking of it, we were never close friends in high school and I certainly don't know her now, so, maybe unfriending is ok. In the past 3 hours, 10 articles posted from blog "sources" about vaccines causing autism and flu deaths being purposefully exaggerated by the CDC.

F my life. Seriously. Woke up having to run downstairs to poop my brains out and try really hard not to vom while kid kicks the hell out of my aching tummy. Feel like death out of nowhere. Pretty sure it's not food poisoning cause DH literally ate everything I ate today and he is totally fine. Staying on the couch to stay close to the shitter. Have to be at work in 6 hours. So very lame.

I understand your concern. I've been trying to figure out how to respond. You have put a lot of restrictions on Jacob that really alters how I can run my daycare. Further, Jacob is very challenging sometimes. I had to literally drag him for a block while we walked to school the other day. Jacob is the only one with major restrictions and also the only one with food and chronic behavior issues. Perhaps it's all connected? However, we won't watch Dexter anymore. :-)

DH and I are both up at 3am sick. I feel like my dogs are judging us and giving us the stink eye for keeping them awake...
Also, we got snow so work is going to be nuts and if I call in they are going to just think I either didn't want to come in because of the super bowl or because I don't want to drive in the dumb snow, which makes me angry. I cannot make this stomach pain up, believe me.

So irrationally grumpy because SO is on a different sleep schedule and is up painting our room when I wanted to help paint it. Also mad because he brought me gingerale when I said my stomach hurt and he put ice in it which I've said a million times I don't like ice that the fridge makes cuz it tastes funny. And I say irrationally grumpy because I know these are the stupidest things to be mad about and he's being nice and productive so I should be happy! Ugh, hopefully ill just fall back asleep and wake up in a good mood. Heartburn sucks. But the Doritos were worth it.

After a crazy weekend of super high blood sugar readings, and then dropping down to lows. I'm super anxious for this ultrasound and OB appointment this morning. Please keep us both in your thoughts and prayers. I don't know what the issue is, but my blood sugars are out of control right now. I called my OB's answering service on Saturday and never got a call back, but did speak to my Endocrinologist, but still not feeling like things are ok.

I've got a BP check and 24 hour urine tests get done today... I'm hoping my crazy BP on Friday was due to my stress levels and what I ate during the day. I really don't want to get a pre-e diagnosis, which is what my Dr. is concerned about... Trying to stay calm and happy, which can only help the BP numbers stay low. T&P's we get the all clear!

I'm blaming all my recent 'hiccups' on the NP who commented that I had a pretty chart (translation: boring and normal and uneventful). She cursed me!

OMG, I just read like, 1800 posts... I can't ever get that far behind again, lol. My eyes, they bleed.

In other news, I took my GD test last Tuesday and passed it with 'flying colors' as my doctor said. Thanks sweet baby jesus!!

Baby must be gonig through a groth spurt beause I can actually eat, as opposed to last week when I couldn't seem to fit anything in my stomach. Super weird.

My baby shower is this weekend, and my BFF's sprinkle (Hi T if you see this! lol.) is next weekend... MUCH to do!

My current FWP is that I have sensory sprcessing disorder along with my because-of-pregnancy-unmedicated ADHD, and... WOW, I'm loving that I'll have a kid pretty soon and it'll be all mine and totally worth it, but the baby moving around inside me is becoming too much stimulation and I'm losing sleep, lol, and poor DH doesn't know what to do as I freak out on the couch... I don't have gradmothers, and my mom is also deceased, and my poor BFF's don't really know what to do, sigh. It's hard to explain. I don't make sense, its okay, haha.

What do hiccups feel like? I keep getting a very rhythmic tap on my right side. It's so constant and fast it seems like it would be impossible for it to be hiccups. If it is, my poor child can't catch a break!
