I am seven seasons in on Netflix.. And I would be uncomfortable with a 13 year old watching it, let alone a five year old!! So inappropriate. Watch your R material on your own time, lady. She owes you an apology, a refund, and you need a new daycare!

All of this, with the exception of the seven seasons in part - I don't even watch it myself...I would be furious if someone watched it with my 5 year old in the room! What the hell makes her think that exposing a small child to that is OK?!

Ya know, when we went to Austria, there were these ice cream shops that would do these large melon ball sized scoops of ice cream in a big waffle cone, and 4-5 of these scoops equated to a normal Baskin-Robbins sized scoop...we would order them 10-15 at a time (depending on how close to a meal we were), and would mix and match so we basically got to have a two-bite taste of just about every flavor behind the counter...and they were eaten with these tiny shovel-looking spoons. Because I can't decide on what flavor I want right now, this is an ideal set up. I need to move to Vienna.

LOL! That sounds insane. And awesome. All I remember from my visits to Vienna is eating these really awesome ribs. LOL.

Also I'm extra cranky because I can't nap while sick DS is sleeping because his wheezing makes my mom senses tingle.

SO I just realized that I'm down to single digit weeks before I'm due! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!! This is happening so fast!!! I dunno if I'm ready to handle an infant and a toddler simultaneously! (Though I'm sure everything will be fine and I'll totally "get it" in a reasonable amount of time...)

I think my DS 2nd birthday was a success! We didn't do a birthday party, we moved here in July and don't have a lot of friends to invite, so why bother? We thought he would enjoy a mommy daddy day more. So we made it a Micah day. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast (a very special treat) and then packed up and went to a museum of natural sciences. We are history nerds and our son is strange, he loves museums too. He had a blast running around and seeing all the fish, turtles and snakes. We came home, crashed, watched Mickey Mouse and ate pizza (his fav dinner). I think he had a great day. I am exhausted now.

I haven't changed out of my pjs yet, but I've been super productive today and I'm pretty happy with what DH and I accomplished! We cleaned and organized the unfinished area/tool bench/laundry room, and cleaned the entire second floor of the house. We still have to clean the downstairs, but that should take less time than the upstairs.

And now I'm going to crash on the couch!

You know what's awesome? I was using my induction date at my due date. Telling everyone, myself included, I would have two babies on April 10th. Well, my due date is April 3rd.... dont know if I am scared or excited.

He took a liking to it so that made it okay for him to watch an adult show about murder and sex?!?!? Umm no.
And that show says fuck nonstop. She could not possibly fast forward thru everything esp if she hadn't seen the episode and didn't know if a part would be appropriate or not!!

Just scheduled what I guess will be our "baby moon". DH is taking a big test 2 hours away on Friday so I'm going with him and taking the day off work. I plan on gorging myself on qdoba and finding a quiet coffee shop while he takes the 2-3 hour test. Then we will check in to a fancy hotel (with insanely comfortable beds) and enjoy some alone time. The next morning we have side by side massages, preceded by lounging in a couples area with fancy complimentary drinks.
Trying to not feel guilty about the affair, but it is only one night and, honestly, DH really needs a break. Ok maybe I do too...

DH left my MacBook on the arm of the couch and it fell off so now it's not working. Awesome.

I also agreed to have friends over tonight and now I regret that decision because I am so freaking sleepy..

DH went out to the grocery store and came back with early Valentine's Day gifts... mini red velvet heart-shaped cakes ("like our wedding cake!") and two elementary-school style valentine cards with cute hand-written messages on the back ("for my two favorite girls!").  

I love this man.

So I have been googling and there are MANY articles about their plan for the dolphin party birth, but I can't find a single article about whether they actually went through with it...

Why is it that the minute I get in bed I suddenly want to drink every drop of water in the house!? I end up guzzling water every time I get up to pee. Usually those 2 things are happening at the same time. Keepin it classy over here
