My morning sickness and nausea disappeared for about 2 weeks and it was heaven but now it’s back for since the past couple of days. I don’t understand that. I never had it go and come back when I was pregnant with my son. Weird. Hoping it will go away as quickly as it’s arrived again.
@pisciesbaby2021 Aw man that sucks!! With my first two pregnancies I had this happen, but it was just like two days. then it came back with VENGEANCE. Lol Super sucks that it came back! But at least you got a break?? lol!
So this is my third pregnancy, both my first I didn't get symptoms (nausea, tired, etc) until around 8 or 9 weeks. I am 9 weeks now and have literally had nausea and tiredness since the day of my missed period. UHG! My previous pregnancies it lasted until about 20 weeks, I am hoping and praying that since it started earlier this time it'll stop earlier too!! A gal can dream right??? LOL
Coming up on 12 weeks and I’ve added headaches to my nausea and exhaustion. My first pregnancy was so easy, this one I seem to be getting every bad symptom there is. Hoping it starts to get better with the second trimester!!

This happened to me as well this passed week. I had 2 full days of no morning sickness and then two days later it is back and better than ever. Here's hoping it will calm down over the next few days. I start the school year on Monday and have to be "online" from 8-12 then 12:30-4 so we shall see how this works out!

Darn, I was just coming in to say that I think I've turned a corner on the nausea. My last super naseuous day was Tuesday (11w0d) and I had some moderate nausea on Friday evening (11w3d). Otherwise, I've felt pretty decent, and even did a bunch of yardwork and grocery shopped yesterday! But now you all are telling me that it could come back... 😮😩
I take back everything. The nausea has returned and it’s awful. Sounds like I’m not the only one who had it disappear and then sneak back in. Hopefully we’ll all start feeling better soon!
Mine's been intermittent for the past couple weeks but now it's coupled with food aversions. Today it was ham. I like ham. Ham made me want to throw up. I feel bad for my parents, hubby and I were visiting and they had made steak tips for them and chicken for me because the steak was churning my stomach last week. Ham steaks for breakfast and I got it down but nearly lost it afterward. I looked down at my belly and said "You're going to take ham away from me too?".
also in the boat of having milder symptoms but suddenly overnight they are back full force! I’m at 11weeks and today was awful nausea and super sore painful boobs. But it’s been almost two weeks of very mild symptoms up until today.
I’ve had a migraine since Friday night...the pain was so intense I didn’t sleep at all last night. I’ve had chronic migraines since I was a teen and because I’m expecting I cannot take any of those meds. My last pregnancy I only had 1 migraine. I’m so nauseous all day long even at night...nothing sounds good to eat and nothing tastes good. I usually like grilled chicken and steak and I’m completely repulsed by it. Sorry, just needed to vent because I’m on the verge of tears...
@travandas I'm so sorry your dealing with migraines. Even when not pregnant, they are the worst. I only get one about once a year, but sometimes they are so intense I can't speak. I hope you feel better soon.
Most of my nausea is gone, but I am having frequent headaches now. I still cannot sleep at night, which is not helping.
@duhduhduck Thank you! It must be the surge of hormones causing all of the headaches. Lack of sleep can definitely be a trigger for mine. Not being able to sleep is awful, I experienced that during my last pregnancy. I wanted to smack my husband for being able to fall asleep in a second. LOL Praying the second trimester brings us all some relief!
Ugh @travandas I’m so sorry! Migraines are the worst! I usually get them around my period, and occasionally with other triggers. With my daughter I didn’t get any the whole time which was glorious. This time around I’ve had a couple but thankfully they’ve gone away with lots of water, Tylenol, and sleep. Hope yours goes away soon!

@travandas I’m so sorry you’re dealing with that. I get migraines, too, typically from lack of sleep (and also around my period). I actually got one today and it was so rough. Ibuprofen has always been my go-to because Tylenol doesn’t work on me at all, so it was really difficult not having anything to take today. It eventually let up after a nap, shower, and laying in the dark eating a little bit of dinner my husband made me. They don’t usually go away like that for me, so I’m really thankful it did this time. I hope yours lets up soon. Migraines are no joke.
I've had migraines on and off since I was a kid. My first pregnancy I had 2 really bad ones- with vomiting and everything. Praying I don't have any this time- I literally don't know what I would do if I had one and was home with my 16 mo old DD. @travandas I sure hope those clear up for you! ❤️
I haven't noticed anyone say anything about hormones but MANNNN can I feel mine swing sometimes. I got a 'new to me' vehicle yesterday and when i realized it didn't have LED headlights like I used to have, I got very emotional. Luckily, I realized it an warned my husband... lol if only I could see it coming like this all the time! Also, the HUNGER and it hits hard and fast and if i don't get something like NOW, it's over and i can't eat but until i do, so nauseous. anyone else feel like they're having twins?? lol 3rd baby and definitely feel like i'm twice as big this time as last time. last time i was smaller than first time though. odd.
@manillabar I'm standing today and feel much better! I always get them around my cycle also! 1 or 2 days before and then one at the end. I've tried everything and they just won't stop. My first pregnancy I had them bad, the last two pregnancies weren't bad at all! This pregnancy is definitely a different ballgame! lol
@annanbby Thanks, feeling much better today! Tylenol does nothing. lol I do the same thing you do take my migraine meds, nap, shower or bath with epson salt, dark room, eat something, put pink salt on my tongue for electrolytes but sometimes it just has to run it's course.
@sunny_native14 I'm alive...lol It's not completely gone but i'm actually able to get up and get stuff done today! Having kids to wrangle while having a migraine is awful! I have three DS 9, DD 6, DS 14m. I am a stay at home homeschool Mom so when a migraine hits it's a documentary kind of day! I'm so thankful that it happened to land on the weekend...My husband took care of everyone!
@nagrom9319 ME! I definitely feel like i'm having twins. LOL
Is anyone else experiencing EXTREME thirst?? I drink about 5 litres of water a day and it still doesn’t feel like enough. I am uncomfortably thirsty all day. My family doc checked my blood sugar levels when I did my blood work last week so I should find out if anything is wrong in that regard, but hoooooly am I ever uncomfortable.

Im definitely feeling thirstier than usual. I have been super preoccupied so maybe I’m just forgetting to drink enough water.
Another food that sent me running - mushrooms. Normally ambivalent about them anyway but today hubby was putting them in his jambalaya for lunch and I couldn't stand being in the same room. Not that I could smell them but the very thought...nope.
@jfcmomoftwo yes and no. Kinda thirsty, but also don't want to drink anything and in a constant state of dehydration because drinking water makes me nauseas (but I normally drink a lot of water not pregnant!)
@becca07024411 I drink tons of water when I’m not pregnant too!! But for some reason when I’m pregnant, water tastes DELICIOUS. Like it’s one of my biggest cravings haha. But this time it’s accompanied by the feeling that I haven’t had any water to drink in days which is the really uncomfortable/annoying part this time.
@becca07024411 same! I'm constantly dehydrated because water makes me nauseated but it is typically the main thing I drink! The only water I can get down is small amounts when it is ice cold.
I am 100% thirstier than usual. What has been helping me is keeping my water bottle with me at all times that way I can just keep reminding myself that I need to drink.

@jfcmomoftwo Yes! So thirsty! I’ve actually been drinking an entire bottle of water during the night for a few days now. I was already getting up to pee nightly, but it’s increased to three times a night because I just can’t stop drinking water each time I get up to go. It’s become a difficult cycle of waking to pee, drinking a bunch, waking up again because I drank so much, but then drinking more. lol at least I’m hydrated I guess.
I have not been posting much or in reality, doing much of anything. I feel like a shell of a human. I feel like I am wasting away. I am 12 weeks and some change and feel like DEATH! Nothing sounds good to eat, but if I don’t eat, I’m worse off. Nauseous, dizzy, headaches. So much vomit. All of it. I almost fainted the other day. I just want to be lying down and asleep. I am really struggling. I broke down sobbing today. Not to mention I feel like the worst mother on the planet. I can’t wait for my 3 year old to start school next week. Just slap on a bunch of guilt while I am at it! I have done 0 things for my family since mid-July.

@jfcmomoftwo I chug a bunch of water first thing in the morning and I swear it tastes AMAZING. It is the same way when I am dehydrated and get a drink of water, but I am definitely not dehydrated now.
@nolemama24 I can sympathize with you. Pregnancy is not always glamorous. The first trimester can be really tough to get through, you have raging hormones and awful symptoms. Don't be so hard on yourself! Taking care of a toddler while pregnant is not easy at all! Things don't get cleaned as much as they used to around here...because when my baby naps so do I! Hang in there and take care of you!
@nolemama24 girl, I am right there with you! So sick, behind on work, exhausted, not spending enough time with my daughter, and feeling inadequate on all fronts. Just do what you can, remind yourself that your body is going through an extreme amount of changes, and try to be kind to yourself. This is temporary! Even a full term pregnancy is a limited amount of time, and everyone and everything can adjust and will be ok. My in-laws are coming tomorrow and my house is a hot mess... and they're just going to have to deal with it this time because keeping myself and my daughter alive are all I can handle right now lol. Lots of love

Whaaaaat the. After 4 weeks of no nausea, it came back like a freight train as I was headed to pick up lunch of all times. Then, it immediately turned my main craving this pregnancy (chick-fil-a) into an aversion. Uggghhh.

Anyone else having major hip pain? I’ve had it off and on for a couple of weeks but it wasn’t bad. But last night, I woke up multiple times because my hips were in soooo much pain. Then all morning today at work I’ve been feeling it too. Not as bad as during the night, but wow. It’s been intense. I’m only 11w1d so that’s seems pretty crazy to me.
