@Vinny424 I love all of those choices! 2 strikes me as more somber, maybe with a caption like, "Remembering the reason..." I wish I could take pictures that good. A doesn't give me much time to play with my DSLR. (

Uuuugh! @poru I can sympathize with nursing as teething babe. She's not necessarily biting down, but it's like her little tooth nub is rubbing against my nipple, and it feels so irritating! I hate it! Feels like the newborn stage all over again. ( And all I want to do is sleeeeeep. :-<

I just figured out I can watch the abc channel live on Apple tv. There's a Fox app too. Cbs and nbc need to get with it. I'm almost ready to give up cable completely. F.U. Comcast! Lol
We gave up cable when we moved, it's not bad at all! We have the roku (similar to the apple tv) and then we bought a $30 indoor antenna that looks like a white piece of paper. We hung it on the wall behind the tv and get 20 channels, including ABC, FOX, CBS and NBC for free.
@celticlullaby most of my day is spent with a 2 year old yelling "no George! My train! Oh no mommy, track!!". The train set is what motivated my baby to crawl. He loves to tear that thing up with the biggest smile on his face while Micah sits there completely horrified. Poor Micah will run George toys to put in front him to slow him down, but George doesn't care, he is completely focused on that train
Ugh. DS has woken up every 45 minutes all night long. I nursed him back down and then he'd wake up again. Now I'm just letting him cry. Work is going to be awesome today.
ETA: well, shit. Went to take him out of his footed jammy/sleep sack combo only to find his legs pulled up into the middle of the sleeper, and he couldn't get his legs back into the legs. So basically he was curled up in an accidental ball all night. I knew I should've checked him earlier. Doh! Mother of the year.

There's a "watch ESPN" app for the Xbox. It doesn't have everything, but it does have some

@mamrotu73 W and I have been playing pass the germs for like 3 months now. It's horrible. Hope that you and A feel better soon. Nursing a stuffy baby is not fun at all.
So I took the day off to rest my knee, which was a great call. I'm wrapping gifts while LO sleeps, which is great to check off my list and I'm going to bribe our UPS man to carry my new stroller upstairs with chocolate chip cookies.
Thanks everyone he's in surgery now.. It's been 53 mins since they took him back. Handing him over was the worst. He's in good hands. Estimated time was an hour and a half so about 36 mins to go. Here's my little man in his gown this morning he was such a good boy even without eating since 130 am!
I was organizing DD's closet last night and found an open pack of cheap newborn diapers that we never liked. Pulled one out and took it to DH saying can you believe these used to be big on her?! This after I just bought a box of size 4. Those newborn ones are tiny!!!
This morning I picked up Aiden to give him a kiss goodbye before I left for work, and thought he smelled like he had farted, did the butt sniff, and then handed him off to DH and said he might have a dirty diaper.
Just sent a few messages back and forth to DH, who confirmed that not only did A have a dirty diaper, he managed to shoot it down his leg and need a complete outfit change before even leaving the house. I admit, I snickered when he told me all this )
All out of recovery and on our way home with my groggy boy. He had a hernia and a skin Tag as well. Everything went well thanks for all the prayers and positive thinking A14! I appreciate it more then you ever will know >:D<
I need prayers/positive thoughts/care bear stares for my cousin-in-law's wife. She suddenly doubled over in pain a couple nights ago, and she found out there's a 3cm mass on one of her ovaries. Her OB said she needed it removed. She's getting a second opinion today. For the last several months she has inexplicably lost a LOT of weight. Has been eating a lot, no exercising. We don't know if the 2 are connected yet, but that's usually not a good sign when someone quickly loses a lot of weight without a known cause. She's only 21 and has a 15 month old daughter.

@macgrs and Dani - A friend of mine has PCOS and ended up having to have one of her ovaries removed. It's encouraging to hear neither you nor your friend, Dani, had issues conceiving! They're going to stop preventing this month, so hopefully it happens pretty quickly. As for my CIL's wife, it's just the mass coupled with the weight loss that has us all worried. Hopefully they're not related though!

Guise! Getting a shellac mani/pedi and they have these kinds of polish that change colour in different temps, so cool! I just dipped them in warm water. How did I not know this existed!
Not really related, but I just read an article about some college students making a nail polish that turns black if it comes in contact with the date rape drug. So, if you're at a party and you set your drink down, you can dip your finger in to see if its been laced. I thought that was pretty cool.
Re: Longest Thread EVER! (aka Random Thoughts Thread )
@chichi589 Good luck with DS's surgery!

@edoliesmom I hope it's nothing serious for your CIL. I'll say a prayer!
