I can't wait to put our tree up! We just picked it up from the in-laws this weekend. I just need to pick up some string lights and a few more ornaments.

Oh man.  Best night's sleep ever last night!  He only ate twice, and there was a six hour stretch between those snacks!

We're putting in an offer on a house by tomorrow morning, and today I'm going to check the PO box because I think my exchange gift arrived!  Hurray!

Whew...finally caught up after being gone for Thanksgiving . Jealous of all of your great tree getting experiences. We excitedly headed to home depot last night for our tree (seems to be the best place when you live in the desert), only to find the saddest trees I've ever seen. The needles were all dead and shrunken. We asked and they said they had no idea how long ago those trees had been cut, since it was the first shipment. They should be getting a much better shipment on Tuesday, but DH works late that night, so we'll have to wait until Wednesday. So sad . 

On a happier note, we "successfully" transitioned LO to the crib last night! Slept in the room next door, and he was up every 2 hours, but he stayed in the crib all night, so I guess it's a good start. It's really fun to finally get to use his bedroom the way we imagined, and now I'm excited to move the rest of his stuff upstairs!

It's been a while I think. We decided to go see my mom and grandparents in SC for thanksgiving. 8 hour drive with a baby sucks. Thankfully, my mom watched DS a few times, so DH and I could go out. We went to lunch and a movie one day and it was awesome to actually see my husband for once.

Decided to get a private sex (gender sounds better though it's technically incorrect to say) scan, so this Sunday we will know if it's a boy or girl. I haven't told my dad yet, so I'm feeling guilty and will probably tell him next week along with finally publicly announcing the news.

Haven't gotten Christmas decorations, a tree, or any Christmas shopping done. I'm a slacker.

I spent all weekend with a massive migraine, that took 2 trips to the hospital to get rid of, then checked the mail this morning to find out that the ornament I ordered for my buddy is broken. I cried. I just want to go back to bed, but instead I'm going to the mall.

Been working and knitting up a storm on my days off. Princess peach ended up looking like a South Park Canadian, so we're doing version 2.0 today. Also having my very own student driver is going well so far. El's been driving my F150 around town since Friday. If we ever find a small car to let her drive she should be pretty good.

Ugh....hope things look up for you soon! Also discovered the ornament I bought my buddy was broken right as I was about to ship it. It's my own fault, so I think I"m just going to re-buy it online and ship it directly to my buddy. Hopefully since it's their fault, they will get you a new one!

Yes! LO darts across the room to get my crafting stuff. Today he managed to get a red ink pad. He looked like a baby vampire afterwards. There is red ink everywhere!

DS has been crazy since we left for our trip. At first I thought it was the new water at my moms house upsetting his stomach, but he's been the same since we got home. Not sleeping well, super fussy all day, clingy, not eating well, chewing a lot, and today he has a low fever. TMI- his poops have been off color (dark or really yellow) and chunky. He doesn't have teeth so idk if it's teething or something more serious. He goes to the dr for the second half of his flu shot tomorrow, should I have him looked at or chalk it up to teething?

Anyone have a Meijer near them and use Enfamil formula? I know there are a couple other MI moms... I have two $10 coupons for Enfamil but they're only good at Meijer. One expires 12/6 so I would have to mail them ASAP!

As for the pump, mine has had an air leak for months, and I just thought I had to deal with it. Maybe I should investigate my options, especially if it makes pumping easier

Along with being a crazy man, DS has developed diarrhea and a severe diaper rash. He won't let me wipe him at all. I guess I'm going to make an appt because I have no idea how to help him or what is wrong.

Plus, last night I was up from 1-5am because I felt like a fire poker was going through my back and no position made it better. Of course I fall asleep for a half hour and it's gone. I don't know if it's a kidney issue or gas. I have my 16 week appt this morning so hopefully its nothing because I don't have time to wait around the office with a fussy baby. Ugh I'm stressed and at a loss for both of us.

The offer on our house goes in before lunch PST.  I'm sitting here in EST biting my nails.  We have a back up house, but I really want this one.  It is next-door to a HOA park, which means no neighbor on that side, which is crazy hard to find in this city.  AND, a nice green park for baby and dog that someone else takes care of?  Yes please!

Over the past week of vacation, my LO went from waking up once to waking up every 2 hours. I know it's my fault because I had to nurse him back to sleep instead of letting him fuss a little, since we stayed in hotels. I guess we get to do some sleep training again. Blah. No fun, but at least I know it will work since it has before.

The downside to one year maternity leave, I need to go back to work in January and can't find a daycare that will take a baby this young.

I'm trying to wrap Christmas presents, DS has tried to eat the paper, the roll of tape and is now after my marker. I'm about to wrap him up.
