Okay, so when I was in labor for 20 hours and my LO got severely stuck in my pelvis as well as both of us having dangerously high fevers and a cesarean was the only safe way I could delivery my child, THAT is somehow not a real birth to you? Not to mention the recovery time is longer and there can be a lot of additional complications. I didn't choose to have a cesarean but it was literally our only option, I couldn't physically deliver my daughter vaginally and our health was in danger.

You are disgusting if you think that doing the only thing you can do to ensure you deliver a healthy baby is an insult and not a real birth. Try going through a traumatic experience like that and fearing for your child's well being before you start spouting ignorant comments like this.

It wasn't natural, but he's now alive. And pretty damn awesome. He wore a pink sparkly crown to daycare today and currently only responds if you call him tiger, since he's clearly a tiger, not a little boy.

Do I need to apologize to God for saving his life?

My opinion and I'm entitled to it, that is what this post is intended for, right?

you do realize that the vast majority of women who have c-sections don't choose to do it ahead of time right, and that just because you wrote out a plan doesn't mean it'll happen that way? 
I'm not for unnecessary medical intervention, if given the decision of a csection I would opt out. So yes, my written plan will be followed since it states refusal of interventions. All those that will be present at the BIRTH will be fully aware and oblige with my wishes.



Oh, so I should have let my kid die when his heart beat disappeared when my water broke because I didn't want any interventions. I really hate this word but you my dear are a huge cunt.

Actually, no. Death will not always occur REGARDLESS of a c/s. I'm pretty sure my baby is all cute and alive right now because of my c/s, even though she looked dead when she was born with an apgar of 1.

I'm pretty sure doctors and nurses save people's lives every day, so man seems to be pretty good at altering fate I guess. Or when I have a patient hemorrhage should I just stand there and watch her die for no reason?

I assume you will be having an unassisted homebirth. Don't step foot in a hospital because they WILL cut that baby out of you if necessary. You can make stupid ass decisions for yourself but you may not be allowed to jeopardize the life of a minor.
