Re: Ultrasound Thread
@bows22 woohoo!!! Congratulations, that’s amazing news!
I also had my first midwife appt and baby is doing great, measuring at 9 weeks which is exactly what I expected given my O date 😍. Heart rate was 175 bpm and he/she was even moving around! And that was just the “unofficial” ultrasound in the office that the midwife did, I’m going to get the official one at the radiology center in a few hours. Seriously, I’m beyond relieved. I’ve been overcome with anxiety and obsessive thoughts. Also the clinic exceeded my expectations and everyone was so nice, so that’s great too.
@merostomata yay!! I feel like you’ve been waiting forever and I’m so glad you had an US too!
Scheduled for a third and fourth US already within the next 4 weeks. Somehow I’m considered high risk at the age of 33 albeit being completely healthy but any chance to see the baby and hear good news I’ll take!

Oh, and I was instructed to drink 32oz of water but my bladder was too full. Go figure. Had to release half of it, which I did, at which point we got some visual… but then I had to empty completely.
I feel much better about my pregnancy and actually connected to this life growing inside of me. My body is officially not faking it!
I’m impressed you were able to only release half. There’s not a chance my pelvic floor would be able to handle that. I would pee all over everyone.
What does everyone do hear to help keep your mind from not worrying?
you can buy a heart Doppler or if there’s a private practice close to you that does ultrasounds so you can see baby in between the physician’s office ultrasounds.
I saw your other post regarding the triplets-- I'm sure there is so much going through your head and all the emotions
Congratulations X3!!!

I am 11 weeks 6 days, FTM. I have had no idea what to expect tbh, but one thing I didn't anticipate was how much the baby can move around in there and how much we can already see. Baby looked like a little minnow swimming. We even saw baby do a FLIP! It was wild. And baby opened and closed its mouth, like a little bubbling guppy.
This picture I just had to share because I thought it was hilariously adorable. It is a little baby bum with little teeny baby legs
P.S. Accidentally posted this in the wrong thread but @EmilyE13 came to my rescue 😂
