Hey Everyone! My EDD is July 10th, 2020. I'm a special ed teacher working with 3rd-6th graders and I love my job. My DH and I live in a log home in the mountains of Northern Vermont. He's in charge of the water treatment facility in the same small town I teach in. We started TTC this past July. I'm very excited to have a summer baby bc as a teacher it will naturally extend my maternity leave. This will be baby #1 and only. I'm 37 and DH is 40 and we both grew up in Maine.
We have two lovable dogs and an awesome cat. We also have a small flock of laying hens, down to 4 currently. We plan to get new chicks and maybe some ducklings in the spring.
I love the outdoors, hiking, camping, and snowboarding. I'm also a sucker for true crime podcasts and procedural crime TV shows. I love yoga but I'm inconsistent with my practice, (gotta get back to class this week). Right now I'm having a hard time sticking to just 1 delicious coffee!
We have been TTC our third (albeit lazily) for over a year and we finally got our BFP today, possibly 10 DPO. I am going to be 42 and I have a history of having had a couple of losses so I’m not super excited yet.
We have a six year old boy and a three year old girl.
I used to work in public policy and public health before leaving my career to raise kids and to support my husband during his training for his job.
Being a SAHM has surprisingly been the most wonderful time of my life.
Best wishes to everyone. I hope I’m here for the long run ❤️
Hey folks! Excited to be on this journey with all of you!
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) 07-13-2020
- How you found out - I took a test 15 dpo. I had just placed a target online order and right before I left to get it thought I was spotting (I wasn’t, tmi but was maybe just dehydrated) and I was so mad I went and bought a dollar store cheapie and did that first and then was like....um, maybe I’ll do both of them 😂
- Hobbies, Job, Etc: I work in the nonprofit world but am considering a career switch to real estate. I also have an arts background and teach theater and a fundraising background which helps with my biggest passion project, raising $$ for my local elementary school playground. I like to be busy.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: FTM, husband is 31 (I’m 30), and we have two very handsome tuxedo cats.
- Anything you’d like us to know: I’m excited to be here and also having a bit of a holy shit this thing is really happening week. Also, am unfortunately doing a bit of pre panic in regards to morning sickness, most of my life I’ve had a pretty intense vomit fear to the point of having panic attack like symptoms (hot and cold, fuzzy vision, can’t hear, feel like I’m drowning - I’ve never been diagnosed but dr google and friends have said these are pretty dead on panic attack symptoms) so I’m nervous but trying to mellow/breathe through it. Any advice from STMs or stories of not having morning sickness (my mom didn’t, my 9 months pregnant neighbor didn’t) are appreciated!
Hi everyone! My EDD is July 7, 2020 and this will be baby #2!
DH and I are both 35 and DS is 2.5. We started trying for this baby once DS turned one, so it’s been a bit of a journey to get here, and super excited!
im an accountant who works for an accounting firm (yep...) and we live in AB Canada.
Ive been a bump lurker since I was pregnant with DS and spent a brief amount of time on the March 2017 BMB. Besides the bump, I enjoy biking, baking, reading, binging on Netflix and cuddling my 6 year old labradoodle!
I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you!
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) - July 4th, 2020 - How you found out - My period app asked me if i had started my period, when i realized I hadn't, I took a test and yup....pregnant - Hobbies, Job, Etc. - I am a quilter and crafter, I love to make things. Working out helps keep my stress levels down too. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: My DH is 40 and I am 38, we have one Son who is 2.5 years old. - Anything you’d like us to know: I have had a loss before, so I am patiently (not really) waiting to get past that week and counting down the days for the first Ultrasound which is Nov 26th.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) - July 11th, TBC at my first appointment next month - How you found out - i felt regular period symptoms for more than a day and my period was late (it never is), took a test and here we are - Hobbies, Job, Etc. - i run a focus group facility and wait tables on the weekends. i like to keep busy - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies - married, DH is 39 and i'm 28. FTM but we have two cats, a dog and a new puppy. eeek! - Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 - so excited to go beyond lurking on here now and cannot wait to start telling people in a month or so!
Hi All! My EDD is 7/5 with our second IVF baby. Team blue because of all the genetic testing that was done leading up to transfer. I'm a carrier for a genetic disease that we were trying to avoid, hence the IVF. - How you found out - Got a BFP 5DP5DT - Hobbies, Job, Etc. - I work full time for a small company doing the marketing and a portion of the sales. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies - DH is 36 and I'll be 34 towards the end of this month. DD just turned 3 and we have a 13ish yo 50lb mutt who is a snuggle bug and super sweet... but also is terrified of kids he doesn't know so we're going to have to work really hard with our trainers again to safely introduce him to this baby. We did it with DD so I have totally believe we can do it again! - Anything you’d like us to know - I'm SUPER close to DD's BMB. We go spend long weekends at each others' homes just because and go on a yearly vacation together (spouses welcome, LO's haven't come yet) and stay in gigantic homes together so we can spend allll the time together. It's the best and I'm excited to, hopefully, have a great experience this time around too :-)
@dancingtreepose - so random... I have an old coworker who lives in Williston, VT and I was JUST thinking about how dreamy it always looks there! I'm a southerner and totally can't handle the cold.... but it always looks so beautiful in VT I definitely want to visit sometime!
@pocketrose ... my best advice to you is something a close friend says when I'm freaking out about something that might not even be an issue... .don't borrow trouble. That said, I was food averse/queasy my entire last pregnancy but didn't ever really get sick.... so just because you feel queasy, doesn't mean you'll be sick. And that entire pregnancy issue is uncommon. Most that have issues like that find that they subside after first tri, if it's a problem at all. I took Unisom (doxylamine, not the diphenhydramine kind) nightly and that kept everything at bay. If you're not feeling so hot, start taking that to help It's the same active ingredient in Diclegis (what they give for pregnancy related nausea) and my RE recommended it when I was PG with DD.
07July EDD - How you found out —IVF frozen transfer with BFP 4dp5dpt - Hobbies/job: I’m an Army surgeon so super busy all the time, but hopefully getting out soon. Hobbies are currently trying to keep my sanity - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: one kiddo (2.5) 2 big furbabies and 2 foster failure kittens
@pocketrose My secret weapon for morning sickness is pedialyte popsicles, or really any popsicles. Keeps you hydrated and ice has always been soothing for my nausea. Also eat / snack frequently. Morning sickness usually flares up when you're hungry so the key is to never be hungry
Hi all! I'm a long time Bump user (been here since 2012) but I only stick around for my BMBs. I'm super excited to get to know everyone here
- Estimated Due Date: July 14
- How you found out: I had decided that I was not going to test at all this cycle until the day of my period but DH brought home pregnancy tests and I couldn't stop myself from peeing on them. I tested way too early with one and got a squinter, then the next day got a faint line. I went ahead and called it positive because I got the same type of line at the same gestation as my first kiddo and promised myself to not obsessively pee on any more things. Anyway, here we are!
- Hobbies / Job: I'm a SAHM but my job before was a freelance writer. I write fiction novels as a hobby, including very cheesy romance novels. I've never been published but I hope to be one day.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: Happily married to my best friend, who works for a logistics company. I have two previous kiddos, 6 years and 1 year, both girls. DD1 is from a previous relationship and DD2 was planned with my husband. She and this baby were both conceived with known donors, friends of ours that we love dearly. We also have 2 dogs, a pitbull and a german shepherd / husky mix, and a cat.
- Anything you’d like us to know: I have had 2 losses, once before DD was conceived and once before DD2 was conceived. While I'm very much of the mindset that I'm going to be happy and excited until I'm given a reason not to be, DH operates differently and doesn't want to get his hopes up until we see a confirmed heartbeat. He was completely devastated with our loss before we had DD2. Because of that, he has asked me very kindly not to really talk with him about it until after the first appointment so I have been excitedly waiting for this board to open so I could have an outlet. I may have stalked June 2020 for a while just for something to do
Ladybug - April 2013 Dandelion - October 2018 Angel "Aurora" - July 2020 Angel "Sawyer" - May 2021 Angel "Maxine" - January 2022 Angel "Violet" - March 2022 Baby Dove due March 2023
- How you found out- waited until 4 days after my missed period to test and got a BFP even though it was later in the day, we went and bought another package of tests just to double check and be sure 😉lol
- Hobbies, Job, Etc: I work in a podiatry office as the Office Manager. We are a very active outdoor family we like to go camping, boating, we have some 4 wheelers we like to get out for some weekend trips throughout the summer, a little bit of everything as long as we’re outside we’re pretty happy.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: My DH is 32 we’ve been together for 12 years married for 3, DS turned 2 in July, and DD turned 1 in August. So we will officially be a 3 under 3 household for a couple weeks once this baby is born 😯 I’m a little nervous but this will most likely be our last baby so I’m going to try to not stress and enjoy every moment.
@pocketrose My best friend has an extreme fear of vomiting as well. Just talking about it makes her anxious. She knows it's irrational but that's basically the definition of a phobia. As luck would have it, she did not experience any morning sickness her entire pregnancy! So it is possible :-) On a side note, I went to some anxiety trainings for my job and I learned that this is a common phobia (similar to fear of blood) and it can be treated with a good therapist who specializes in anxiety and phobias.
@blaf322 I do my "big shopping" in Williston! I love living in VT, the stunning scenery and small town vibes are why I transplanted myself here :-)
- How you found out: I was waiting to get my period after a D&C in September, and when it still hadn't arrived 6 1/2 weeks after, I decided I may as well test. The BFP was a big fat surprise!
- Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I negotiate contracts in the legal department of a technology services company. Normally my hobbies include things like beer festivals and Octoberfests, but not this season.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: DH and I have been married almost 2 years, and this will be our first. We are both 34. We have a sweet 7 year old dog and a not so sweet 10 year old cat.
- Anything you’d like us to know: I'm just keeping my fingers crossed we get a good result from our first ultrasound. It's not currently scheduled yet, so I'm not so patiently waiting to find out when I'm even going in.
@mytrueloves My DH is doing something very similar! He doesn't want to tell anyone or celebrate until we get through the first u/s, but it's so hard when we are constantly doing social activities where people will notice if I'm not drinking. I just want to get to the point where I feel like we can celebrate a bit instead of holding our breath!
@pocketrose I second the Unisom. I struggled with constant nausea with my first pregnancy and never said anything because I thought it was just morning sickness you live with but with my second I actually mentioned at my first appointment how nauseous I was and he told me to take Unisom and a B6 supplement every night and it made such a difference. I don’t remember the dosage so I would call your OB to check but I realized it’s not something you need to suffer through there are options. And as far as actually throwing up I think I maybe did a couple times but I was nauseous all the time so like they said above nausea doesn’t always mean vomiting.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date): July 3 - How you found out: was feeling beyond thirsty and tired a few days before my expected period and decided to take a test and here we are - i love to be outside, swim, and read a good book. I am a pediatrician and my husband works for a pharmaceutical company. We are both 35 and super psyched about this new adventure! No furbabies (unless you count fish and then we have a LOT of them).
Looking forward to talking more to everyone and sharing this experience.
- EDD: July 11ish - How you found out: took a test at 7 dpo and got a squinter, test at 9 dpo was a definite - Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I’m an attorney and work as in house counsel for a large company. I love to cook, write, travel, run. DH is a chef so we love trying new restaurants. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: DH and I have been married 18 months, I’m 38 and he’s 44. First time parents for both of us! We have a rescue mutt named Little Debbie who is the queen of cuddles and laziness. - Anything you’d like us to know 🙂: *TW* I’ve had two losses this year so I have a lot of PGAL anxiety. *TW* But I just got my third beta back and our bean is progressing appropriately. Have another beta on Monday and then first appt Nov 15. It’s early but I already had the appt scheduled as an infertility consult so I’m excited to get to switch that to a first OB.
@footdrbritt seriously what a small world! I’ll admit when I first got my job I was really unsure about it but after being here 8 years I do really enjoy it minus all lovely hoops Medicare loves to make us jump through 🤣
Hey I’ve had two kids and had no morning sickness what so ever for either of them. I did crave Taco Bell tho. You’ll be fine. Not everyone gets morning sickness. I did not vomit a single time in any pregnancy. (Pregnant 4 times, well 5 now).
Hi everyone! I’m excited this board is open! I think my EDD is July 2 based on my cycle length. We were not trying; I think I ovulated late. I decided to take a test after having a horrifying dream and three day long head ache. About six days before my expected period I got a positive! I teach first and second grade reading at a local elementary school. I love reading, barre, traveling, and gardening (specifically roses).
I have been with my husband for 13 years and married for five. I just turned 34 and he is 35. We have a son who will be three in January. We also have a cranky old cat.
I had a planned caesarean due to breech presentation and will most likely have another one this time around. Hoping for an easy time for all!
I’ve had two confirmed losses (one before DS; one before DD). I’ve also had some suspected losses this year. As long as the data is telling you good news, your odds of a loss decrease significantly. Best wishes ❤️
How I found out: my DH and I have been trying and the 2ww is the hardest! I waited until the day I was supposed to start my period and got a squinter first with clear blue. I went to the store and purchased a first response and it was definitely there! Also I have had a bad ulcer in my mouth the last couple weeks that tipped me off.
Hobbies/jobs: I am a physician assistant in orthopedics and have been for the last 8.5 years. I love being in surgery mostly. Excited to see some other medical peeps on this board! My main hobby is landscaping but I also like generally being outdoors, doing projects around the house, etc.
spouse/partner/kids/fur babies: my DH and I have been married only 3.5 months so lots of exciting recently! He is 45 and I am 33 but we seem like the same age. This is my first pregnancy and his first also so no kiddos! We do have a boxer and cat. They are both girls and so my DH is convinced we will be having a girl also and keep him as the only male! We shall see!
Anything else you would like us to know: I want to scream from the rooftops that I am expecting so I am having a hard time keeping it in! Only told one girlfriend that lives out of town so far but plan to tell both sides of the family at Thanksgiving. We have our first appt (any they said it would include u/s) in 2 days and I am so excited. Praying to get to see a heart beat but I know it will be early at only 5+4! At least an intrauterine pregnancy would be a relief to see though!
EDD: July 11 based on LMP, but I think it's actually more like July 16 based on ovulation. We'll see what they say at my first appointment!
How I found out: MH and I have been trying since June. I noticed some possible implantation signs around 7DPO, and I tested positive at 11DPO even though I told myself I wouldn't test early this time. Whoops!
Hobbies/Job: Full-time job is a mechanical engineer, much more fun part-time job is a Pure Barre teacher! Hobbies are Pure Barre, reading, hanging with the fam, watching college football (when I can)
Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: MH and I have been married 5 years now, and we have one daughter who's just over 1.5 years old! We also have a super cute and lovable dog.
Anything else: I was pretty involved with DD's BMB (although it took me a while to get brave enough to actually post regularly and not just lurk), and I'm still involved with the facebook group we created from that. I loved having people going through pregnancy the same time as I was and forming relationships, and now I love having other people to bounce toddler problems off of! I'm looking forward to forming those same types of relationships with this group!
@pocketrose I hate hate hate throwing up and fear it too. I fortunately didn't have any nausea/vomiting with my first pregnancy. Hoping it's the same for you! (Probably TMI, but I did have some not-so-fun issues from the other end during first tri though... but I'd take that over vomit!)
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) . July 4! - How you found out: Peed on a test. - Hobbies, Job, Etc. Im a middle school math teacher. My hobby is really just keeping my kid alive, and making sure that I get my work done for school. Life doesnt really allow for much. I do go indoor rock climbing with my husband. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies Husband of 7 years, together for almost 16. 1 kid, 2 year old son. 1 dog, 6 year old Havanese (my profile pic) - Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 I have had 3 losses, two have been this year. I am pretty anxious about this pregnancy, but ive been seeing an RE, and I have my first scan this monday. I have been on TB for 4 years. I was in TTGP with my first, and have been in contact with many of those ladies ever since. I love TB and hope this group is just as awesome.

- EDD (Estimated Due Date): July 11 - How you found out : I don't really pay attention to my period, but I'm usually on time. I rely on apps. Last Sunday night I had a dream my mom (who has passed away) was holding a baby, woke up in the middle of the night, check my apps that all said I was late. So, I picked up a cheap test from Dollar Tree and viola, PREGNANT!! - Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I'm a paralegal, work full time. PTA president and basketball mom. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: The finance' and I have been dating for 3yrs. Finance had NO kids, so this will be his first. Its going to an adventure!
Hey all! Finally posting here since I got my 2nd beta back today and everything seems good so far.
It took us a long time to get here. We were just about to pass the 2 year mark and were working with an RE. This baby (or babies?) was conceived with IUI #2 + letrozole and I am just so so happy and stunned to be here. I started taking cheapie tests around 9 days after the IUI just for kicks and saw a line on Sunday.
I live in KY with my husband and our 4 furbabies (dog, 2 indoor cats, 1 outdoor) that I’m obsessed with! I work for a health insurance company and he’s a CPA. I feel like I’m a pretty boring person but I love hanging out with the pets, being outside, CrossFit (well I don’t LOVE it but I do it), and food! DH and I love going out to eat and I’ll be interested to see how/if my tastes change during this pregnancy. I’ll be a FTM and like I said I am just so happy to be here! After the last 2 years, I just want to scream our news from the rooftops.
My edd is July 6. This is baby number 2 for us. We have a 4 year old son who will turn 5 in July. We had 2 first trimester losses before having our son. I am currently on progesterone as a precaution. Trying to wait patiently and not let pgal brain get to me to much before the ultrasound on November 27. I am 34 and my husband is 39. I am a special education teacher at an elementary school. I look forward to getting to know the other July moms!

We have been TTC our third (albeit lazily) for over a year and we finally got our BFP today, possibly 10 DPO. I am going to be 42 and I have a history of having had a couple of losses so I’m not super excited yet.
Being a SAHM has surprisingly been the most wonderful time of my life.

- Anything you’d like us to know - I'm SUPER close to DD's BMB. We go spend long weekends at each others' homes just because and go on a yearly vacation together (spouses welcome, LO's haven't come yet) and stay in gigantic homes together so we can spend allll the time together. It's the best and I'm excited to, hopefully, have a great experience this time around too :-)
That said, I was food averse/queasy my entire last pregnancy but didn't ever really get sick.... so just because you feel queasy, doesn't mean you'll be sick.
- How you found out —IVF frozen transfer with BFP 4dp5dpt
- Hobbies/job: I’m an Army surgeon so super busy all the time, but hopefully getting out soon. Hobbies are currently trying to keep my sanity
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: one kiddo (2.5) 2 big furbabies and 2 foster failure kittens

- How you found out: was feeling beyond thirsty and tired a few days before my expected period and decided to take a test and here we are
- i love to be outside, swim, and read a good book. I am a pediatrician and my husband works for a pharmaceutical company. We are both 35 and super psyched about this new adventure! No furbabies (unless you count fish and then we have a LOT of them).
- EDD: July 11ish
- How you found out: took a test at 7 dpo and got a squinter, test at 9 dpo was a definite
- Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I’m an attorney and work as in house counsel for a large company.
Natural MC 10/01/14
I teach first and second grade reading at a local elementary school. I love reading, barre, traveling, and gardening (specifically roses).
Natural MC 10/01/14
How I found out: my DH and I have been trying and the 2ww is the hardest! I waited until the day I was supposed to start my period and got a squinter first with clear blue. I went to the store and purchased a first response and it was definitely there! Also I have had a bad ulcer in my mouth the last couple weeks that tipped me off.
spouse/partner/kids/fur babies: my DH and I have been married only 3.5 months so lots of exciting recently! He is 45 and I am 33 but we seem like the same age. This is my first pregnancy and his first also so no kiddos! We do have a boxer and cat. They are both girls and so my DH is convinced we will be having a girl also and keep him as the only male! We shall see!
July 4!

Can’t wait until ultrasound 11/14, biggest symptom right now is actually burping 😒
Oh and I miss drinking coffee, it’s been over a month now.
- How you found out : I don't really pay attention to my period, but I'm usually on time.
I have a 15yr girl and 9yr boy and a Gismo (my shih-tzu).
