Technical EDD right now is 7/15/20, but I expect that will be revised to ~7/8/20 at my 8 week ultrasound (conceived while on letrozole and all my cycles had been 21-22 days on the letrozole). LMP started 10/9/19 and first pregnancy test went positive on 10/31/19. Spent a week peeing on sticks and watching the lines get darker, with official doctor's confirmation on 11/8/19. I'm 41, my partner is 45. Only one prior pregnancy, six years ago, which resulted in miscarriage at 11 weeks, so I'm a bit antsy. I'm a prison psychologist. Four furbeasts of the feline variety.
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
How I Found Out - My DH has been talking about a second child since we left the labor and delivery room. He likes to tell our son the names of a phantom second child and see which one he smiles at. 🤣. This morning was no different, but I started to do some math and blurted out “what if I’m pregnant?” So I had a left over test and took it this morning as my DH chanted from the bedroom “take the test, we want a sibling”. 3 min later two pink lines. And then I took 10,405 other tests.
Hobbies/Job - I gave notice at my job last week when I was offered my *dream* job. I wrap up my current role before thanksgiving and am suppose to start my new gig in January. So this is going to be fun news to share to my new boss. 😳
Family - My DH (41) and I (32) welcomed our first son in June 2019...yea, 5 months ago. So any moms with LO close in age I can’t wait to hear ALL the advice. We have one dog, Sully, who is the best dog brother we could ever imagine and most days still my favorite family member because he sleeps well and poops outside.
Hi, everyone! This is baby number 3, edd 7/03. I had been lurking June 2020 but today found out that I was about a week off, and now I'm officially here. I turned 30 last month, Dh is 27. This LO took us both by surprise to say the least, but we're really excited at the same time! We have 2 girls, Juniper (5) and Magnolia (3)! So excited for this lo to join us!! We have 2 kitties, and a five year old lab that's worse than a puppy! I currently work in a kitchen at a Hawaiian restaurant, and love my job! I also do photography on the side. Dh is currently recovering from a motorcycle accident, and not working at the moment. Some idiot tboned him going about 30 mph. One of the scariest days of my life. That's my life in a nutshell. I look forward to these next few months with all of you!!
How I Found Out - I had my mirena removed in July, and after a thyroid med adjustment, we started TTC in August. **TW** We had a loss in September, and were told it was ok to keep trying right away**TW OVER** My cycles have been regular, 32 day cycles for the last 4 months, so my expected ovulation was only last Wednesday, but I have zero chill in me and picked up 2 FRER yesterday to start testing "if I didn't get my period next week". Yeah right. I peed on that thing at 2pm yesterday and got a blazing positive. So I peed on the second one at 5 pm. And then I drove 25 miles to Walmart and bought a CBE Digital, and peed on it at 8 PM. Each one was positive, so I must have ovulated early and I'm crossing my fingers that this is our rainbow.
Hobbies/Job - I quit my full-time management job a week ago, and started doing in-home daycare last Monday, with the hope to be able to stay home once we did have a baby, so this is honestly, best case right now! I love reading and am a summer forever person. I want to spend all my time in the summer outside and swimming and camping and boating and fishing and kayaking. I live in Iowa and right now it is 5 degrees outside, with a real feel of -7. Clearly I live in the wrong part of the country for this love of summer and all things warm thing I have going on.
Family - My DH (30) and I (32) got married in June. I have 4 kiddos from a previous marriage, DD(14) DS(13) DS(10) and DS(7).
- How you found out: we were trying so I was going to test the day of my missed period but a few days before that I had a dream I was pregnant. I don’t normally have/remember any dreams so I figured I’d test a day early and there it was
- Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I’m a corporate event planner for at Lockheed Martin. I get to throw parties for 6000 people across 15 states. My hobbies include scrapbooking, quoting New Girl/30 Rock/It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and eating cake haha
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: my husband Dan is 31, I’m 33, our daughter Alexandra is 13 months, and we have 2 German shepherds named Kona and Sierra. Dan lives in an estrogen-filled house for sure haha
- Anything you’d like us to know: happy to be here! Looking forward to going through this crazy ass time together 😊
Me: 33 DH: 31 Location: Castle Rock, CO DD: 10.13.18 baby #2 due: 7.14.20
EDD is July 1st 2020
- How you found out- I started to become lactose intolerant so I took a test and it was positive. My husband and I are super excited. This is our first. I am 25 and he is 27.
- I am a teachers aide for a career readiness program. It is a blast. My husband and I farm about 70 acres of corn and soy beans in Michigan.
- I have a wonderful husband, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and lots of chickens and ducks.
- I found out this weekend I have a moderate to large hematoma near the baby. I hope it dissolves and doesn't cause any issues with our baby. We had our first ultrasound to see the baby and discovered where the bleeding was coming from. If anyone has any experience with this I would greatly appreciate any information I can get. I am excited to see who is due the same time I am 😁
@julwanderlust My first two are 15 months apart, I got pregnant with #2 when dd was 6 months old so I know what you're going through! I love having my kids so close in age. At 2 and 3 they are best friends (most of the time). Feel free to message me if you have questions about anything specific!
The day after I missed my period, I got a faint positive. We thought we might have a hard time getting pregnant because my husband has a medical condition that can decrease sperm count by 60%. This was my second month since getting my iud out so I was surprised I got pregnant so quickly!
I am 23 and dh is 24, we've been married for 3 years, together since high school. We have a 3 yr old girl and a 2 yr old boy. I love having my kids close in age and I'm excited to have another fairly close in age. I am currently a sahm and I am pursuing my bachelor's degree online.
I am a little nervous about this pregnancy because of the faint positive and my lack of symptoms compared to my other pregnancies.
I'm excited to get to know everyone and I am wishing for healthy babies and pregnancies for everyone!
Hi! I'm due with our first on July 4th! Found out October 22. My husband and I have been married 7 months. We met Civil War reenacting. We both love history and reading. I also love crafting, woodworking, homemaking, and making music. So grateful to the Lord for our Lil Pumpkin!
Hi @knottie743a487cc8290ef7 ! Congrats! Welcome glad you're here! Please check out the group intro/welcome thread and change your username to something without "knottie" that way it's easier to remember you and @ you in posts. Looking forward to getting to know you! ❤
@lolaanddukesmom I had a large hematoma in my last pregnancy with DS3, had spotting and breakthrough bleeding from 6-16 weeks basically. It sucked and was scary, but was totally resolved by my 20 week AS. No real advice, just solidarity and a positive outcome to share!
DS1: Nov. 2013 DS2: Jan. 2016 DS3: Dec. 2017 Baby #4 on the way!
Hello hello! I got ahead of myself and forgot to introduce myself! My name is Allie Koupal. I’m a dental hygienist married to a dental student (who will graduate May 2021). We currently live in Wisconsin while my husband goes to school but plan on heading back towards home (Iowa) once he graduates. We have two lovely fur babies, Bauer and Luna. They are certainly going to get a wake up call when they realize they aren’t the only babies anymore! My estimated due date is July 4, 2020 and my first prenatal appointment is December 6 (day before my 25th birthday!) 😍. We got pregnant on our very first try which is AMAZING and a huge blessing but also came with many emotions like shock that it happened so quickly... I of course am experiencing all the emotions including fear of something happening to our baby. We are so excited and I can’t wait to be apart of this community as we navigate this pregnancy.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date): end of July, probably around the 25 or 26. I have pco so can’t use periods to track but ovulation - How you found out: we’ve been trying for a few months so I was obsessively stalking. When my temp didn’t go down I took a test. - Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I’m currently a full time grad student working on my doctorate so that keeps me pretty busy - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: my husband is 32 and I’m 27. This will be our first baby. We have a 9 year old spoiled pup and a 3 month old kitten. - Anything you’d like us to know: I still can’t believe I go here. It is still super early but I refuse to not celebrate every minute of this pregnancy. We were recently told we wouldn’t be able to have a child on our own. We were getting ready to start fertility treatments when bam, positive. I still have a lot of nerves and can not wait to be past the first trimester when I feel like I can breath again. I loved all my ttgp girls and I’m hoping we can all be as close and supportive as they have been to me.
@beckylookatherbump I’ve been stalking TTGP and had my fingers crossed for your TWW! Yay! I understand feeling cautious but totally agree that every minute of pregnancy deserves celebration. Congratulations!
@b_1029, @coffeeandcookies84 and @rachelredhead thank you all so much! I’m so excited to be here. I literally can’t believe it. I told my husband when we first started trying that we would get pregnant in November because it would mess with our Disney trip in December. Here we are! Best reason ever to not ride any rides. I literally peed in 7, yes 7 tests and then cried happy tears lol.
I'm due July 9th! I found out on Halloween! I've known I was pregnant over a week before I was due for my period, but the test didn't turn positive until a day after I missed my period. I'm a SAHM to a 14 month old daughter. My husband just got a new job with union health care, so from what I know about it, I'm excited! I've been finding it hard to have hobbies with such an active toddler, but I guess going to the gym! My gym has 2 hour childcare, so it's been nice to get a little break and exercise! So excited to give my daughter a sibling!
My EDD is July 4. I found out by taking a pregnancy test I am an Assistant Principal at a middle school (grades 6-8). My husband and I have a 4 year old daughter, 2 dogs, and a fish. We live in TN and I love to do things outdoors and drinking wine (just not for the next 8 months...) and reading books. I set a goal to read 75 books this year and I'm at 65 right now. I'm excited for this baby we've been trying since March. My first ultrasound is November 25th.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date): 7/24 - FET was on 11/6
- How you found out: I caved and tested. I had a super light positive yesterday (6dp5DT) and a much more obvious one this morning (7dp5dt). First beta isn't until Saturday and I couldn't wait.
- Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I work P/T as a recruiter which pays very little but it justifies having childcare 3 days a week. For hobbies I love to read, I stay pretty active and I'm trying to do more writing. I just had my first article published in an online magazine (shameless link at the bottom). I wrote about my experience with infertility treatments and the response has been amazing.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: H and I have been married for 3 1/2 years, DS is 14 months
- Anything you’d like us to know 🙂: I was super active here while TTC and going through IF treatment. My son was conceived via donor egg IVF and this is a FET from the same group of embryos. (TW) In May I discovered I had gotten pregnant naturally but lost the pregnancy.
2016 - dx with super low ovarian reserve; failed cycle with clomid, failed IUI, 2017 - egg retrieval #1 - 3 eggs, 0 embryos appropriate for transfer; ER #2 2 eggs, 0 embryos on day 3; ER #3 1 egg 0 embryos moved to donor egg in summer 2017; 35 eggs retrieved; 19 fertilized; 9 total embryos Fresh transfer Dec 2017= BFP! baby boy born 8/22/18

EDD is 7/26, I think. I just found out today! Tested on sort of a whim. I had a feeling (literally, I can always feel it) I ovulated earlier than usual and figured I should check.
We were planning to start trying next month, so this is a happy early surprise! I have a 20 month old son and 2 dogs who will be thrilled that another human is here to steal their toys and spill their water bowls 😂. Fingers crossed for myself and everyone in here to have happy, healthy pregnancies!
- EDD: July 20/20 - How you found out: I wasn't late yet, but I'd been really sore and just felt "different" than during previous cycles. Took a test on Friday morning and wouldn't ya know a faint 2nd pink line showed up. So then I went and bought a yes/no digital test and sure enough that one was positive too! It's baby #1 for my husband and I, 4th month of TTC so we're so excited! - Hobbies, Job, Etc: I'm finishing my residency in Family Medicine, graduate June 30/20 so it's going to be a hectic spring/summer between exams, grad, and baby haha. I've delivered many babies myself so excited to now be "on the other side". I love spin, hiking, and running, and used to competitively ride in dressage (horse riding), which I'm hoping to get back into once residency is done and baby is here! - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: My husband works in sheet metal but will be starting school for mechanical engineering in September. We're both 30, same birthday actually. We have two furbabies - a husky mix and a german shepherd that we love dearly.
I have been lurking on this board for awhile so I figured I might as well dive in and post
EDD: July 11
How I found out: Hubby and I have been trying for over 3 years; I am 35 and he is 37. After referral to our RE earlier this year, we discovered that a fibroid was blocking one of my tubes. I had surgery to remove this in August, my tube opened up, and October was the first month we could try post-surgery. I was on Letrozole (5 mg) and had a trigger shot on 10/18. I woke from a dream that I was having twins on 10/29 and RUSHED into the bathroom excitedly to take a test even though it was pretty early but got a BFN and was pretty disheartened. Then, on Halloween (my favorite holiday) I came home from work and just had a feeling I should take another test and BOOM! BFP! As if I didn't love Halloween enough already.
Hobbies/etc: I work in the healthcare industry and DH works for a large tech company. I also have a degree in music and write and play on the side. Hobbies include spending time with our geriatric dog, cooking, baking, spending time with friends and family.
First ultrasound is 11/20. Looking forward to the support this community provides!
- EDD is 7/21 - How you found out- we’ve been trying for a couple months so took a test and here we are! - I’m a sahm but my husband owns his own business so I do some work for him and fill in for his assistant when she’s out of the office -My husband and I have been married 6 years and we have a 4 year old son and 1 year old daughter. -We live in Michigan but spend a lot of time in Florida during the winter because my mom is down there and it’s Florida!😊
I’d Sarah, second time mum. Our EDD is 14th July. We have been trying for a year and a half, so I tested as soon as I was late by a day! Found out this morning. I am a primary school teacher in the UK. I teach 8-9 year olds. i have a husband who works away in Africa and a daughter who is 3 and a half.
Hi all! This is my first post! My EDD is July 11. This will be my 3rd child. I have two boys ages 5 and 2. I had one MMC between those two pregnancies. I found out the day of my missed period. I had tested at 11 DPO but it came up negative. Then when my period didn't show I was like hmmm and tested again. Positive! We were not trying but I had a feeling... My husband was shocked! he is regretting not getting snipped haha! I'm so glad because I always wanted another babe. Hoping for a girl I hardly have any symptoms. Hence scouring the 'no symptoms' threads to see if I'm normal haha. After the MMC its hard not to worry. Have to wait until Nov 29th for my first ultrasound. Seems like an eternity. Isn't this the worst season to go through the first trimester since it's all Christmas parties and you can't drink but also can't tell anyone you are preggo!! So annoying right!
@Murtlebeach Congrats! And if you're located where I think you are, we're only about 3.5hrs from you. DH's parents usually vacations there every year (and we join when we can)

I am a primary school teacher in the UK. I teach 8-9 year olds.
i have a husband who works away in Africa and a daughter who is 3 and a half.
Hoping for a girl
I hardly have any symptoms.
