There is a heartbreaking announcement I have to make I have just lost my twins in the Morning As I told you before I had conceived through ivf and this was my second cycle. Miscarriage happened exactly the same way it happened in the first one. That was my 35th day and today was 38th. I woke up in the Morning and started bleeding. I went to the doctor. They quickly gave few injection to control the situation. Got me admitted and within one n hlf hour I blended clots and lost them. Today was the worst day of my life. Feeling very helpless as nobody knew the reason why this is happening as I am conceiving but it is not staying more than 5 weeks and get aborted naturally. Please please please if any of you know anything about why this could happen please let me know. All the best to you guys. I will pray for you all your well being.
Really sorry for your loss Rags, can’t imagine what you must be going through. Were you on progesterone? I know sometimes progesterone is low.
Would the doctor run a Repeat loss panel - where they try to determine the cause behind recurrent miscarriages? I’ve heard they do this if you had two losses.
The most common reason women miscarry is because of chromosomal issues in the embryo. So that’s nature’s way of survival of the fittest. Were your embryos PGD/PGS tested ? Ive heard that helps implant healthy embryos.
Sorry I don’t have more advise, but I sincerely hope your doctors help you navigate through this.
Hi Everyone! I got my BFP at 9 DPO, EDD is April 16th. Both DH and I are 33, we have a 2.5yo (almost 3) DD and we live in Canada (I am American). *TW* This is my 6th pregnancy, I've had 3 miscarriages and our son was delivered stillborn in January 2018. My most recent MC was in April. Hoping for another rainbow baby *End TW*. I've been active on TB in the past and am looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Hi everyone, I'm Rachel and I'm a STM. My son turned 4 in June and we've been trying for #2 since last fall. We timed things well this time and I had a positive test yesterday morning. I'm excited, but very nervous. I'm turning 36 next week and I'm feeling the pressure about being an "older" mom (they really need to stop calling it a geriatric pregnancy). My first pregnancy went smoothly, but I have pretty large fibroids and my son was born 3.5 weeks early, so they now consider this a high risk pregnancy. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well.
I work at an indie bookstore and my husband is a college writing instructor, so our main hobbies are reading and watching good TV (everything from The Good Place to American Ninja Warrior to Big Little Lies). I used to be a regular runner, but have fallen off the fitness bandwagon. Hoping to find space for that in my life again even as things get more hectic in the months and years to come!
Hi! Im due April 10, but will probably give birth on April 3 at the latest. I had gestational diabetes with my first two pregnancies (this is number 3) and my PCOS w/insulin resistance hasn’t gone away, so it’s a pretty safe bet that I’ll have it again.
I found out by taking a test at 9 DPO.
I’m a SAHM. My hobbies are cooking, decorating, piano, photography, and Netflix.
I’ve been married for 6 years to my lovely and sweet husband. We have an almost 4 year old daughter and a 17 month old daughter. No pets, hubs is allergic to the planet.
I’m so excited for this baby!!! I’m also excited that after this baby I’ll never be pregnant again, because I love babies and hate pregnancy.
Oh @rags2020 I am so sorry!!!!!! You must feel so sad. Well, if you are taking melatonin i would advise getting off of it. It can mess with the cycle and I now blame it for my 3 CPs in the last two years. Of course you should speak to a doctor who cares about diagnosing your miscarriages. Not all doctors do. And it is apparently a complex field. There is acupuncture and even a pelvic floor PT treatment for recurrent miscarriages but it all depends on what your issue is. Don’t give up!!!!!
I have a 4 yr old boy and 2 yr old girl. We were done. I was on nuvaring, but had really vivid dreams about being pregnant. I took a test that morning and got a super faint positive. I've had 2 complicated pregnancies so we are scared, but starting to get used to the idea of #3.
My EDD is April 1 (April fools, lol), so I'm not sure if I will end up here or in March BMB. I am 6w2d today.
Thank you everyone for all your support. It would have been lovely journey with you all till April. But now 😭😭😭 yesterday has been very tough. Now I am not getting what to look forward to. All my 2 cycles shots are just wasted. Hope we will find something to be happy about.
My EDD is 4/6! I will be 38 next month. My husband and I have been together over 20 years (met in college). We have 2 daughters- age 7 & 3! I’m a SAHM & decorator/house flipper. We were pretty set on only having 2 children, but recently decided to go for a third and here we are! We suffered a CP and a MC between our 2 girls, so hoping all is well with this little bean! Looking forward to getting to know you all 😊.
Hi! I did a quick intro in the Waiting Room thread, but I wanted to put an intro here, too. I’m 38, married 5 years, and expecting our next baby on 4/13/2020. Our history is complicated:
*** TW TW TW NO SERIOUSLY ***
I’ve had three miscarriages, two chemical pregnancies, and we have two sons. One of them is still living. Our first would be three years old, but he died three weeks after he was born. The short story is that he had a very rare, randomly occurring genetic mutation that caused HLHS and a lot of other birth defects. I was active on the July 2016 board when I was pregnant with him. We’ve been through pretty much everything regarding genetic counseling and testing, and prenatal diagnosis of congenital heart defects. I hope nobody needs to chat about that stuff, but if you do—I’m here.
Our second little guy is one and a half. He is perfectly healthy, and I’m already daydreaming about introducing him to his new brother or sister.
I’m a former librarian, current SAHM. Liberal feminist southerner—we DO exist! I love knitting, interior design, and making fancy craft cocktails. And I’m warning you: I’ll probably make a lot of pregnant Kate Middleton references, because the British royal family is my favorite guilty pleasure.
That’s it! Let’s have some babies, shall we?
TW: MORE DRAMA THAN LIFETIME TELEVISION!
3 miscarriages. 2 chemical pregnancies. 1 infant loss.
8/2016: We lost our first baby to CHARGE Syndrome and HLHS when he was 3 weeks old. 1/2018: Our healthy son was born. 4/13/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
@themamalion I definitely love following the royal family, too! I was pregnant at the same time as Meghan and I'm pretty sure MIL was more excited for baby Archie than her own grandchild, but I had just as much fun following along.
@chrissdee Haha, that’s how I was when I found out Kate and I were pregnant at the same time—ECSTATIC! I’m still not sure how I feel about the newest royal generation’s names, but I love all the anticipation.

Hi all! First timer here with an estimated due date of April 8. Over the last year and a half, tests have been negative, but I had a different feeling this month, and I took two pregnancy tests the week my period was due - the first was faint and the second very positive! I told my husband of four years with a book of dad jokes! ☺️ We recently bought a house, and our cat has enjoyed ruling the roost. Not sure how he will respond to a new addition! Nervous and excited for all that is to come!
- How you found out Was 2 days late so I took a test and it was positive lol
- Hobbies, Job, Etc. Currently work 3rd shift (2330-0800) at the county jail. I have a 3 yr old son so my hobbies are basically his (coloring, reading, legos, etc.)
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies DH and I have been married since 2015 but have been together since 2010. We have one son who will be 4 in January. We had a miscarriage this past June so we are hesitantly excited. We have 3 cats.
My name is Nat. My estimated due date is April 5th. This is my second, my oldest is 8. I am a daycare teacher and bus driver. One of my sisters is do just nine days before I am with her second also so I'm pretty excited to share this experience with her. I found out 3 days before my. Was supposed to start when I was on vacation oh, I haven't told anybody besides two of my sisters and some friends. I am a single mother and doing this completely alone and am very nervous to start over 8 years later so any tips with that would be nice. I'm also nervous to tell the rest of my family because of their reactions aren't going to be the best.
Hi ladies, i am parisa from seattle. My EDD is April 20th. I just found out yesterday by home test and i am so excited. This is our first child and can’t wait to see them. Happy to be a part of this group.
Hi! My name is Allie and my due date is April 1st! I'm 30 from California and have been married for almost 6 years! I am a stay at home Mom with my 4 year old soon and our Golden Retriever puppy Yukon! I found 3 days before my missed period and got the confirmation with the OB this week! We are so excited!
Hi! I'm 28 (will be 29 in October). According to LMP I am due April 19. Got my BFP at 10 dpo. This is my second pregnancy; had a MMC in April this year at 12 weeks. My husband and I have a corgi who we like to call our first child. We've been together 9 years and married for 7. I work in childcare and my husband is a commercial producer for a local tv station.
Hi everyone! I’m Meg. My EDD is April 5th. I got my BFP on what I think was 6 DPO. I found out on a family trip we took with friends (and it was really hard to hide that I was pregnant with how tired I was but I did it). I like gardening, sewing and volunteering. My husband and I have two kiddos (one 2 and one 4) and a cat and dog. I’m hoping for a VBAC, my first two births were c-sections. Happy to be a part of this group- I was with my other two kiddos here on The Bump.
Hello Ladies! I am a 29yo, 4th time mom (🙈). I have a DD from N13, DS1 from N16 and DS2 from S18... - EDD is April 21, I just found out yesterday... Period isn't due til Tuesday (8/13) I think (I'm EBF my 10mo and my cycle just returned in May and isn't regular yet) but had a suspicion when I was more tired than normal, and it was on the back of my mind after DH said "oops, it broke" 😂🤦 So here we grow again! As a PGAL momma (3 angel babies), I welcome the new addition even though life is about to get even more crazy with 4 younger than 7 haha... (Our current 3 are 5.5, 2.5 and 10 months) - I am a photographer and work from home and stay home with the kids. Love what I do and creating magic for my clients, but don't photograph my own kids nearly enough. I also have 2 horses (BLM Mustangs) that are my source of clarity and sanity... A faithful border collie who never leaves my side and a crazy german shepherd. - DH is 38 (he says he's getting old, I tell him he just gets better with age). We've been together for 8 years now. He's a Judicial Marshall for our county court and his background is heavily in law enforcement. He hunts and fishes for a lot of our meat and I'm slowly getting him to accept farming and raising our own livestock as well (I'm a born and raised farm girl).
We live in Maine, on 60 acres in the woods and I often refer to my kids as wildings or critters, and say they're feral all the time. They're happy and healthy and eat a lot of dirt 😂

I’m Kat, 28 years old and my EDD is April 12! I’ll be a FTM.
My DH and I were excited to get a BFP last Friday, I actually did the test in a mall bathroom in the morning before work, then called him with the news. Not glamourous in any way (and never how I pictured this happening, but isn’t that life?). We were going to be apart for the long weekend and there was no way I could spend the whole weekend without telling him - it was hard enough being around family all weekend, politely declining drink offers and bursting to share but holding back.
Overall have been nervous about TTC because we were informed by my gyn & a fertility specialist two years ago that my fertility was negatively impacted by surgery I had in 2014 to remove large ovarian dermoid cysts. They are back again sadly (much smaller though), but have been monitoring them with no size changes in several years and advised we should try for our family sooner than later. Really happy we were able to conceive naturally and praying everything goes as well as it can moving forward!
Really glad to have found this group and looking forward to chatting with you all!
Hey all! I'm Erica, and my EDD is April 19. I was two days late and feelling nauseus yesterday, so took a test this morning and can't really believe it. I only have had one period, as I am still bf'ing my 15 month old girl. I also have an almost 3.5 year old boy. I am excited, but terrified about having 3 kids! I am a SAHM mom living in Long Island (New York).
EDD 4/20 I'm 35 partner is 45. We have been trying for over a year. We have a 3.5 year old who has started talking about his sister who is hours away even before we knew. Creepy. We will tell him shortly after first Dr appointment. I am worried about work and how they will handle it since I have a physically intense job. Hoping for less neausea this go round!
Hi everyone! I’m a FTM and I’m due April 3 (LMP) or April 6 (date of conception). My cycles are longer, so I’m not sure which to go off of! I had missed my entire period, but had cramps and didn’t “feel pregnant” so I didn’t test right away (afraid to get my hopes up)! After my entire period was missed, I took a test with my husband right there with one of those cheap test strip ones. When the two lines showed up, I tested again to be sure! We were so excited! I enjoy running and exercise. I actually had ran a 10k the day I found out and did better than normal, so I really didn’t think I would get a positive! I’m a physical therapist and live with my husband and our kitty.
EDD (Estimated Due Date) - 4/19/20 - How you found out - pregnancy test at 4dpt, confirmed with doctor today 4 weeks first beta - - Hobbies, Job, Etc. - spending time with family and friends, yoga, working out, watching my favorite tv shows, shopping, etc. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies - married 1 1/2 years and this will be our 1st baby together and we have 3 children from previous marriages (10 1/2 year old son and 8 year old daughter from my previous marriage and his almost 7 year old daughter from his previous marriage). We have a cat at home. - Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 IVF due to male factor morphology and count. We’ve been through a lot to get here. Lost our little boy due to misdiagnosed ectopic in April (genetically normal boy). This is my third pregnancy this year. Two months before the misdiagnosed ectopic, they said my betas weren’t doubling and they had me miscarry at home. Praying this rainbow baby sticks!!!
Hey everyone! I'm scared to even post because it's so very early but I turned 2 tests today at 10 dpo, so I guess I go here now! I had recently been posting on TTGP and I see a few familiar faces already
I'm 32, married for 4 years this month, with two children from a previous marriage. My 9 yo DD and 12 yo DS are SUPER excited at the possibility of a new sibling and I cant wait to find out this baby is sticky and healthy so we can share the news with them!
I'm a working mom (Hair Stylist), and I have two Labrador Retrievers that I love endlessly. I'm kind of dog/pup obsessed and if I had the time and space I would have a house full of fur babies.
When I had my DD 9 years ago I got a tubal ligation (clips), and just had that procedure reversed in May. This will be my husband's first pregnancy/baby. I'm so excited to have this experience with him. Unfortunately I am high risk for ectopic pregnancy because of my TR/reversal. There is also research showing higher miscarriage rates after reversal. I'll be followed closely through betas until we are sure this baby is snug in the uterus!
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Congrats Ladies! My EDD is April 15. Got my BFP one day after missed period on July 31, I was in the December 18 BMB and ended up having my son January 3,19. I’m a Maintenance Technician for a meat packaging Company. Going on 8 years of marriage, we’ve got 2 boys, 4yo and a 7mo Maybe this will be our girl, fingers crossed!!
Hi, I’m Courtney. I’m a FTM due April 1st! My husband and I have been married for 6 years and TTC for about a year and a half. My BFP was THE BEST surprise! My husband was at the gym, so when he got home I told him and he was so cute and excited! We have two pups that are super excited too
Hi ladies my name is shanah I'm from ontario canada. this is my 4th pregnancy but hopefully our 3rd baby here on earth I had a miscarriage between my 2 girls. My estimated due date is April 6th.
I have been with my husband for almost 11 years, married for 6 come october. We have 2 beautiful little girls dd1 who is 5 and dd2 who is 2. They were the first and only girls born in 5 generations on my husbands side of the family.
I am a SAHM but we live on a farm so lots of chores with the animals I help look after as well we have a dog and a cat. Right now we are camping out in a trailer while the Reno's are finishing up in the house.
Hobbies I have been trying new things out to find what I like doing some paint pouring and rock paintings, reading books, and pretty much anything Harry Potter!
My 2 girls were hospital births and this time I'm hoping to do a home birth as it will be our last pregnancy. Look forward to getting to know everyone.
Hey everyone! I am beyond overjoyed to be in the April club with you guys.
My name is Jane, I'm 26 and a FTM. I live in Toronto with my boyfriend, our cat, and our two snakes. I had a natural miscarriage in April at 10 weeks, and we've found out that I'm pregnant again. My EDD is April 1st, based on my LMP. The miscarriage was really rough on the both of us and our relationship. We obviously have some mixed feelings. Im terrified of it happening again but trying to stay positive. It's really great to meet you all.
Hi ladies! My EDD is April 5 ( but I have a feeling this might change after my first appointment). I have three boys who are 11, 9, and 4. I do daycare for my two year old niece, work part- time in a church nursery, part-time retail job, and sometime I deliver for Shipt. We had been TTC since last November and we’re starting to think that maybe our family was already complete. My last cycle had been longer than normal, so I thought this one was too. After a week of an upset stomach and being super sensitive to smells, I decided to test.
Hi! I think my EDD is April 5th and this is my first pregnancy. I had just started temping around July 8th and caught a possible temp shift on July 15th that corresponded with drying up of CM. I took a test first thing in the morning of July 25th (~10DPO) to make sure I could drink during a wedding that weekend and was very surprised to see a very faint positive. It still hasn't sunk in!
I work a pretty standard office job and enjoy running, rock climbing, baking, and crocheting during my free time. My husband and I have 2 cats that we adore!
Hi all! My name is Marina. I’m an MFT and met my husband while in grad school 3 years ago. We got married a year to the day of our first date, got pregnant on our honeymoon (we call her our little “honeymoon bonus” ) and now have an adorable 15mo old daughter. It’s been a whirlwind but we’re so blessed.
I’m currently a SAHM and we’ve been wanting a sibling (or a few!) for our daughter from the get-go. We’ve been TTC and tracking with OPKs since January (when I got my period back) but cycles and ovulation have been irregular since I’m still nursing. Tested, as I routinely do now, 10 days ago and got my BFP! I was so surprised because I’ve had no symptoms that I tested 2 more times before telling my husband. (I’m not one of those women who manages to do a “cute announcement”— I told my husband in the bathroom both times, ha!) We’re super thrilled and estimate the due date (LMP) to be 4/8. First appointment and ultrasound is on the 30th and I can’t wait!! 🥰
Hey! I have two kids and am due around April 25. I was a teacher until a few years ago and now I’m a stay at home mom and sometimes nanny. I found out yesterday lol I think I was about 9dpo. My husband is in school to be a dentist and will be graduating next year. Congrats everyone
Hi, all. I have been waiting to introduce myself until our first ultrasound. Thankfully, it went smoothly today. I am (hopefully) going to be a STM. Our DD is 3.5 years old and she started preschool today. ❤️ Based on the US today, our due date for #2 is April 7th. We are hoping that our three angel babies help get this rainbow baby to us. Here’s to the journey!
Hi everyone! I’m a FTM and am def a late bloomer (hence my moniker) - 44 years old, DH 32 years old, have been married 4 years. I’m a FTM, found out I was pregnant when my DH noticed I was late and I was unusually hungry one night, eating everything in sight. 😂. I didn’t feel pregnant at all but took a pt anyway and got a faint positive on 7/28 and then BFP on 7/29. My EDD is 4/1; I think that makes me 6 weeks and 6 days as of today. I work full time in education in LA and have three lovely kitties.
Given my age and past (see below TW) I am worried about the viability of this pregnancy. Symptoms keep coming and going and are really mild. Encouragement and support are appreciated. I have my first US on 8/27 - so far away!
*** TW - had a miscarriage and a chemical pregnancy several years ago. Hoping this pregnancy sticks and the baby is healthy. ❤️

Hi,
I’m Kat, 28 years old and my EDD is April 12!

Really happy we were able to conceive naturally and praying everything goes as well as it can moving forward!
Really glad to have found this group and looking forward to chatting with you all!
I'm 35 partner is 45.

IVF due to male factor morphology and count.
Maybe this will be our girl, fingers crossed!!
Hi, I’m Courtney. I’m a FTM due April 1st! My husband and I have been married for 6 years and TTC for about a year and a half. My BFP was THE BEST surprise! My husband was at the gym, so when he got home I told him and he was so cute and excited! We have two pups that are super excited too
I have been with my husband for almost 11 years, married for 6 come october.
Edit: cut the novel to a short story 🥴
Given my age and past (see below TW) I am worried about the viability of this pregnancy. Symptoms keep coming and going and are really mild. Encouragement and support are appreciated. I have my first US on 8/27 - so far away!

TW - had a miscarriage and a chemical pregnancy several years ago. Hoping this pregnancy sticks and the baby is healthy. ❤️
