So excited to meet everyone and learn more about you! My due date is May 10th and I am 5 weeks today! This is our second baby and we are so excited that our son is going to be a big brother! He is 18 months so we are happy that our kids are going to be close in age. My husband and I have had quite a journey with being parents. Our son was an IVF baby after trying for 3 years. We went back to the fertility doctor for this one and did our transfer in the middle of August and it was successful again! Just wondering if there are any other IVF mommies in here?
We are from Phoenix so SUPER excited that I will be pregnant during the winter months, haha!
Looking forward to sharing this journey with all of you!
Hi everyone! Based on LMP I have an EDD of 5/14. First appointment and ultrasound schedule for 10/5. We have one child who will be 2 in October. I am 41 so I’m a bit nervous about age-related risk factors, even though my last at age 39 was fine! Any other over 40 moms in here?
Hello! I’m from the San Francisco Bay Area and my EDD is May 15. I had my second FET on 8/27 and found out yesterday my hcg numbers are doubling. I’m so so anxious and excited. It’s been two extremely long years to get here.
Hi ladies! I'm Lauren. My husband and I have a 2 year old daughter born July 2016. She's our rainbow baby after a MMC in April 2015 at 16 weeks. I'm cautiously optimistic here! Obviously we are all still very early in our pregnancies. So far I've had one ultrasound to which the sonographer said "well there's definitely a little pregnancy there." I have no idea what she was looking at because it looked like a black hole but she said it has a heartbeat of 110 which is where she would expect it to be. I don't see my doctor for another 2 weeks!!!! The wait is killing me!!!!
Mommy to an angel baby and a sweet little girl Earth side.
Hi everyone! I am cautiously joining here but super hopeful. I am 39- I have a dd who just turned 5. I was part of the sept ‘13 bmb and still am close to several mamas from that group and looking forward to getting to know you ladies. My due date is 5/15 after an FET on 8/27 (@jkduer nice to see someone on same timeline)
**tw** we have been trying for #2 for about 3 years now. We had a MC at 4 weeks 3 days with our first IUI and for our first round of ivf with a fresh transfer, we lost the baby at 9 weeks this past February. We did PGS testing this time around so trying to stay hopeful. End tw****
I'm the latest due date so far, as I just got my bfp this morning. I took another this afternoon because I couldn't believe it... I'm only 9-10dpo!! It is indeed positive though. That makes my edd May 21st. I've never gotten a positive test this early before! I'm like many others here, and am pgal so I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much yet. This is my 4th pregnancy, but only one was successful. My second pregnancy resulted in my 2 year old son. I just had a mmc this March, at 12 weeks. It would have been a girl, but she had a rare chromosome error, incompatible with life - triploidy. Apparently 2 sperm fertilized one egg, and it's extremely rare. I'm really hoping for a healthy baby (or babies) this time around. I'm very nervous this time. I also was diagnosed with pcos and took a couple rounds of clomid. I can't believe it actually worked!! *It sucks but I can't tell my husband yet. He can't handle any more losses and told me if I miscarry again he doesn't want to try again. So I want to wait until I feel safer and tell him then. I only get one shot, once he knows.
Eta: @prpl11butterfly noooo, tell me it isn't so!! I really hope you get some amazing news!
Like many of the other pgal women I’m cautiously/ optimistically introducing myself and hoping I get to stick around. *TW 2018 has been the year from hell, I had a MMC in February that required two D&cs and a hospital stay and then another MMC in July.
I have one DD who is almost 3 1/2. I was a part of the may2015 BMB but she decided to come early so she was an April baby! My due date this time is May 10 and if this one comes 10 days early like their sister , he/she will arrive on DD original due date.
MH and I have been married 5 years and we both just finished our degrees / masters in may so it feels like we are newlyweds all over again since we actually have time for each other again!
Looking forward to getting to know all of you and here’s to a H&H 9 months !
Hi Everyone! I am so excited to see this group finally up! I have been creeping the April group all week hoping for May to become active (though it sounds like I definitely wasn't alone there).
This is my first pregnancy, I got my BFP on Labor Day and based on my LMP I will be due around May 7th, 2019. I have my very first appointment next Wednesday to get checked out.
DH and I have been married just over 2 years, but together for 9 years. We are both in the National Guard, and have been actively trying for about 9 months since I got back from a deployment. We had been hoping to conceive before he deploys next spring.
I can't wait to get to know you all as we grow together these next 9 months!
STM here! I’m currently 5W1D and EDD is 5/9/19! I’m super excited for this LO! I was a part of the Oct 15 Board and loved it so much. I met a lot of really amazing friends from all over and we’re still connected to this day.
I had a cesarean with DD and really hoping for a successful VBAC this time around!
Ive been waiting for this board to open, so so excited to join you May 2019 mamas!
I believe I'm due 5/11/19 and I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow. I have 5y/o DD and a 3y/o DD. I was pretty active in their BMB's (may '13 and Jan '15).
**TW** i have had 2 MC's in the last 14 months. The first at 10 weeks (July 2017) and one at 7 weeks (March 2018) it's been a really tough journey. My DH and I are excited to be expecting again, but obviously there is fear too. ***end TW***
Hopeful for a healthy pregnancy and just grateful for each day I get to carry this gift. My first U/S isn't till 9/20, but my first two betas looked good.
Hey everyone! Super excited and nervous to be here and this is my first! I am recently married. My husband and I live in MN with our 2 yellow labs. Our due date is May 6th.
We have been together 7 years and started ttc in 2016. After multiple failed months we quit to focus in the wedding and my health. 2017 was medical diagnosis after diagnosis and I knew something needed to change. For 18 years I have suffered from PCOS and a pituitary adenoma. We were told we would need help conceiving.
After a year of healthy eating and exercise, 25lbs down and 15+inches it finally happened to us!
I am super excited that this is finally happening for us, but am nervous and scared at the same time. We have decided to wait to tell anyone until 2 trimester.
This will be baby #3 for us, and I have no idea what my due date is. This pregnancy is coming after a miscarriage earlier this summer and I haven’t had a period since the loss. I have a dating scan on 9/21 so we will see!
I am a SAHM to a 3 year old boy and a 17 month old girl. I was an elementary school teacher before staying home with my kids. I live in the Boston area. Looking forward to sharing this process with you all!
Hello! EDD of May 11th with baby #2. I am an elementary music teacher and I am getting my masters online in Educational Psychology. Baby is a bit unexpected so I am still trying to wrap my head around it! However, we are happy that we will have another addition! DS is two. Sending support!!

@prpl11butterfly I am so sorry. You and your DH are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hi everyone! I'm so sorry for making a new discussion... I pushed the wrong button and didn't realize what I did until it was already posted!!! Hopefully it can be deleted. I'm Nadia btw and I'm excited to be here! This is my second pregnancy, we lost our first at 13 weeks this past June. It has been a rough few months but I'm glad to be here today with all of you. Here's to a happy and healthy 2nd pregnancy and for all of us! Due date is May 11th so far
Thought this board would never be up lol! I’ll reintroduce myself, I had already in the waiting lounge. First baby for me and hubs together, 5 weeks today EDD May 10!!!!! After 4 years of unexplained infertility, had my HSG (tube dye test) and got our BFP!!! We were supposed to start our IVF in October but wow we are so so grateful. He has a daughter turning 11 from a previous relationship and we have a perfect little dog who is named Columbo and he is 4! Congrats everyone here’s to a happy healthy 9 for all ❤️
Hey Ladies, Canadian girl here, second pregnancy. My oldest is 5. EDD 5/4. Here's to geting to know you all a bit better and having amazing healthy babies
@projectalice Congratulations to you dear. I hope this is your rainbow!
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

Thank you so much @suzycupcake! I am hoping I can relax a little soon... Fx for your thyroid labs and er!! (I think that's the last thing I read, I may be behind on catching up though.)
I believe I am due 5/11 with baby number 3. I have a 4 year old DD, and a 2 year old DS. I am 38, so my second AMA pregnancy, but I am way more out of shape this go around, so that makes me nervous.
Just a friendly reminder to please place a Trigger Warning (TW) whenever you talk about a previous lose. If you could hide it, that would also be really helpful. I know I personally struggle with anxiety and seeing so many posts about loses really increases my anxiety, and I know I am not alone. :-) Thanks, Mommas!
Good morning! And Congratulations to everyone here. I'm tentatively saying I go here now. Got my BFP this morning and based on last period I'm 5wks and due May 12th.
It's been a super long road for us and our first bfp without medical intervention. Praying hard this one is a sticky baby and we get to bring him/her home in 9 months
Hey ladies! I'm so excited to be a part of this group. I'm 30 years old and this is my very first pregnancy ever. I am so over the moon excited to become a mommy! This has been a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl. I am currently 5 weeks 1 day and my EDD is May 10, 2019. I have my first ultrasound on Sept 20th to confirm the pregnancy and if all goes well I do plan to have a homebirth with a midwife and doula- or have my birth at a birth center if the homebirth doesn't work out.
Yay! I did a homebirth with a midwife for #1 and a birth center with a midwife for #2! IdI love to support you with your plan, so if you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
Hello! My name is Rebecca this will be my second baby! My son turns 3 in October! My husband and I have been married for 4 years My first appt is Sept 24
Woohoo @DressageDarling! My EDD is also May 16. So nice to see others with later in the month due dates, as I'm still kind of weirded out that I was turning tests positive within 2 weeks of conception. I think I was alone in the double digit EDDs for a lil while.
@troystory17 well, exactly. I deal extreme general anxiety disorder, however, so even without experiencing it, it is very traumatic for me. I just wanted to post a friendly reminder.
Hi ladies! I’m from Philadelphia, and have a son who’s 2 years 4 months old. Expecting LO 5/5/19, and have my first OB appointment 10/5 to confirm that. Got pregnant before getting my period once I stopped the pill, so EDD could be off. It seems like an eternity to wait until 10/5 though! I’m in nursing school in an accelerated BSN program, but I’m going to try and stay active on here!
Hey ladies! I'm from VA, hubby and I have two fur babies but this is our first child. We are 6 weeks along today and our EDD is 5/5/18. We found out when I was 3 weeks and 4 days along because of the constant nausea... anyone else already experiencing morning sickness?! Tips or tricks welcome!
Hi everyone! Congratulations to all you ladies! I just got my BFP last night and am so relieved! This was the last month we were going to try before I went back on birth control. I have endometriosis and the pain each day for the past few months has been unbearable, to say the least. (Shout out to my new endosister @BWhitta ! ) Im so grateful it finally happened! Im 34. Husband is 40. We have a 19 month old daughter. My EDD is May 23. I had already scheduled an appointment with my OB/Gyne for tomorrow to discuss surgery for endo. I can't wait to surprise her with this good news!
I hope we all stick around the entire 9 months and have happy, healthy, easy pregnancies!
