@troystory17 Oh I know, it's been brutal. They opened up the corn maze/pumpkin patch at a farm down the road and it's been dead every weekend. Come on, fall weather!
Hi, everyone!!!! I have been waiting for this group for 2 weeks I am joining from over in the Trouble TTC group where I have been for the last THREE years! ***TW*** I have had three miscarriages so this is a very scary time for me. I am 6w1d today and my first ultrasound is tomorrow morning. We found out about our “worst” loss during our 12 week scan, so ultrasounds are really triggering for me. I’ve been feeling pretty confident, my betas were really good (174 at 14dpo and 629 at 17dpo) and I have been having a LOT of fatigue and nausea, so that has been keeping me calm...but now that it’s upon us, I’m pretty much a wreck today. Really hoping this is it and I will get to stick around with you guys!!!!!! We have been working with a new RE since January, he has had me on a strict keto diet, got my estrogen straightened out, and had surgery in May for endometriosis and fibroids SO hopefully things are nice and different in there this time around!!!!!!! Sorry for the novel, excited to be here!!!!!!!!!!! EDD is May 1!
Married for 5 years, TTC for 3 years
PCOS, Low AMH, Endo, Uterine Fibroids, Low Estrogen... and a Partridge in a Pear Tree. 3 Losses, 8/16 11/16 and 6/2017
Hello all! 5 w. 3 days with baby #2. Hubby and I were trying for over a year so a BFP was almost unexpected and very exciting. Still in a little bit of disbelief. EDD is 5/6.
Hey everyone! This will be our second baby and I have an EDD of 5/16. *TW* We are cautiously excited as we are coming off a July miscarriage at 7weeks. *TW*
Hey everyone! My husband and I are expecting our first May 8th! Our situation is a little different though as we are using a surrogate since I'm unable to carry our child and my amazing sister volunteered to help us out! I know that I won't be able to relate to everything on this board since I am not pregnant myself but I haven't found a lot of active groups for people going through surrogacy and I am hoping to connect with other expectant mothers on here! Congratulations to everyone here and I look forward to getting to know everyone over the next few months
@nerdyteacherlady I teach 8th grade as well! What do you teach? Are you in a middle school?
I’m in Montana and teach algebra, 8th grade math, and gym. Loving teaching gym this year as it’s my first time with a more balanced schedule. (I used to teach English instead of gym which really caused an overload of grading and parent emails with two heavy-hitter subjects.) Plus I’m hoping the extra activity will help me keep some of the extra pounds from piling on this time.
Hope the kiddos take it easy on you these first few weeks. Not sure mine will be in the mood for that...pretty rambunctious group so far.
Hello fellow May ‘19 Moms! Just found out that I am expecting baby #3 and am really excited to join a board. I did not join in with my other two children and I really want to this time. My EDD is 5/13 and I’m really looking forward to a May baby. I have two sons, 4 & 11 months. **TW** I had a natural miscarriage at 7 weeks in Nov ‘16 **TW**
@rfurf I'm so glad you're here!! This community has a wealth of knowledge on all things baby and we'll all be with you every step of the way. If I know one thing about these groups is that we're also really good at spending people's money

Hey ladies! This will be my third baby. I have a dd who is 7.5 and a ds who will be 5 next month. I had bariatric surgery (vsg) last December. Scared and excited for this new addition. EDD May 10

I teach English and one period of intro computer science. The English essay grading is no joke!
My kids are pretty good so far. Have you thought about when you'll tell them? I wasn't really showing till like 5 or 6 months last time, but I think it'll be more evident earlier this time around. They notice everything!
Hello All! I got my BFP on 8/31 and tested again 9/1 and 9/2, as well, because one BFP isn’t enough! I am 4 weeks and 6 days based on the first day of my last AF. EDD is May 10. This is my first pregnancy and I am so excited, yet slightly terrified that something may go wrong! Praying every night for a happy and uneventful 9 months. I live is western Wisconsin with my husband and 2 dogs, Suzy and Stuart.
I have 5 amazing babies already, 12,10,5,2, and 5 1/2 months! I got my BFP last night and retested again this am to be sure lol! I am super excited and nervous! We wanted another baby and decided to go for it rather than wait too long as it’s our last baby! I’m 29 and my S/O is 30. My babies EDD is actually 5 days before my birthday! We’re in Illinois
According to LMP, my EDD is May 2. I have an almost-3 yo DD. I'm a graduate student, and my spouse and I live on an organic vegetable farm.
** TW ** I have had two losses - a natural MC in 2017 and an MMC at 8 weeks this past May. I have been feeling especially anxious this time around. It looks like there are a bunch of PGAL ladies in the group so far, I hope we can support each other through this stressful time ** End TW **
Hi everyone! I've been waiting for the board to go live too.
I am due on May 5. This baby will be my third -- I also have a five year old and a two year old (so our age gaps will be almost the same... 3ish years has been a good gap so far).
I had a lot of fun with my last couple of birth month boards, so I hope this one will stay active throughout our pregnancies and beyond!
Hi...I thought I would just lurk around, but decided to take the plunge and introduce myself. By my calculations, EDD is 5/3. We have two kids who were adopted and are in the process of adopting again...waited too long to replace my IUD, and *surprise,* first pregnancy. I’m still trying to adjust to the idea of being pregnant, and hopefully hanging around here will help me catch some of the excitement.
@zuuls_mom thanks! I'm really looking forward to being a part of this since I don't have any close girlfriends where I live and it will be so great to have mom friends for support! Although I'm already pretty good at spending way too much of my own money so it might be dangerous to be around people who are good at spending my money too haha! I've only known for just over a week now and my husband has already told me I need to stop shopping and buying baby stuff!
@rfurf I think you’ll relate more than you think! There is so much about getting ready for a baby and not all of it is about physical symptoms. You’ll find whatever support you need here too. And the bump is so good at fostering community. While waiting for the board to open up, I bounced around to a few different communities (babycenter, whattoexpect, reddit) and none of them seemed to focus much on connection outside of the fact that we’re expecting babies. No weekly threads or GTKYs that just allow us to connect with a group of strangers on the Internet. All that to say - welcome!

Hi! My name’s Jordan and this is our second baby. Our first is almost 5, so it’s been awhile and I wasn’t real active on my last pregnancy board, so definitely feel like a newbie here. I’m about 5 weeks in with an EDD of 5/9. Currently cautiously excited as I have had 2 losses prior to our first.
FI and I also have a DS (December 2016 bumpie). Looking forward to having another fluff bum in the house. Last pregnancy I had HG the entire time until he was born, fingers crossed for no HG this time!
Hello everyone! Just got my BFP for baby #2 yesterday! EDD is May 14th based on LMP. DS is almost 14mos and still nursing. I used the bump during my first pregnancy but didn’t join the community, so I’m excited to get more involved this time around. I’m an American expat living in Asia.
Hey Everyone, I am 29 years old with my third baby on the way. I am about 4w4d pregnant right now, my estimated due date is May 13. I live in Canada and can't wait to see everyone's progress. I will be going through a midwife with this pregnancy, hope everyone has a great pregnancy!
Hello everyone! I'm so glad we have a place to talk and connect! I am currently 6w2d, this will be our first child, EDD may 1st! Since I was working with a fertility specialist I have already had one early ultrasound where you can see a perfect yolk sac! I have another ultrasound scheduled next Thursday and my first ob appointment the 26th. Praying for happy healthy babies all around!
**TW**
I had an early loss at 6w2d in may, so I'm pretty anxious to get through this week. Next ultrasound will be very telling.
Hey mamas! I'm cautiously introducing myself...got a faint BFP on Tuesday and since I'm crazy and keep testing, the line has gotten darker all week. It's still ridiculously early (hence my caution) but I'm feeling anxious and really value this community so I'm diving in!
EDD is 5/19 based on LMP. This was only our second month of trying after I came off BCP so we were definitely surprised. I have a 2 y/o DD and live in the DC area with DH, DD and our pup.
I wasn't super involved in the Aug '16 board but hope to be more so this time around. Looking forward to connecting with everyone and supporting each other through this crazy time!
STM to a just over 1yo DD (Aug '17 BMB w/ @secicc12) working in tech marketing. I'm still BFing and only had one PP period before conceiving so my LMP due date is 4/26 but I was tracking my BBT with a very long cycle so actual due date should be 5/18. I'm farily confident in my May 18th EDD but I got a blood test yesterday to check per my doctor's recommendation so we'll see.

EDD of 5/3 here. I’m a May baby myself and have always loved May in the northeast! It’s a great month

I’m 31 and a SAHM. Pregnancy is currently kicking my butt with hormones and lack of patience. Hoping it evens out or it’s going to be a long 35 weeks.
