Re: Introductions
I have been waiting to introduce myself until I felt more confident about this pregnancy..
TW* I had an early, missed miscarriage a few months ago, and some circumstances this time have made me cautious *TW
I had an US at 7+6 and everything looked good.. A nice strong heartbeat! Due date is 10/22. I've had some spotting and after suffering from HG for both of my full term pregnancies (DD-2003, DS-2010) I only have nausea this time! Of course instead of being happy about that miracle I'm afraid it means something is wrong
Hi Everyone!
I'm pretty new here. Due on October 14th!
My husband and I have three boys ages 13, 9 and 6. This little baby was a total surprise. I think I'm still in shock. Lol.
Nonetheless, I'm excited and warming up to the idea of having a new little one in the house. I'm definitely not warming up to the doctor referring to me as "elderly." Lol. I'm 36...
Also, I miss wine.
Nice to meet you all!
Please ensure you change your screen names so it is easier to get to know you, tag and remember your name!
TTC since 2016
Due: October 12, 2018
Location: Ontario, Canada
My name is Mallory, I’m 33 and my husband and I our expecting our first in October. Edd 10/6/18.
I’m still a little nervous as I’m only 10 weeks and this is my third pregnancy. First ended in early MC (blighted ovum) at 6 weeks in 2015 and another MC at 9 weeks 10/2017. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed and trying to think only happy thoughts!
Been lurking for a few weeks but thought I’d finally introduce myself. I am currently in my 9th week with my first pregnancy. Baby due 13/10/18. I live in Perth, Australia. Had my first ob appointment yesterday and everything running as expected. Looking forward to getting to know people over this 9 month journey.
I'm 9w2d and have been lurking for a while, just getting a feel for everything. This is my 1st pregnancy, and it was a heck of a surprise...my 29th birthday was 2 days before my BFP, and I thought my bouts of nausea were due to a hangover and/or the job interview I had on Feb 13th, because obviously, my period was 11 days late due to stress of the interview and my increased workout schedule...plus I've had the paraguard in for 2.5 years, so I couldn't be pregnant, right?! Took a HPT the night of the interview, more to assure myself I wasn't preggo, and lol and behold, I was very wrong and was 5w1d already! DH and I were on quite a shock the first 2 weeks, and I had a billion doctors visits and USs to confirm pregnancy and check on IUD placement. It was still in there, albeit a little low (nice souvenir US to show the fam lol). We'll never know what came first, baby or low IUD! Thankfully the IUD came out with no issues!
Now that the shock has worn off, DH and I are both excited and terrified for this new chapter in our lives! We always wanted to have kids, and we're thinking of trying next year anyway. Baby is due on DH's birthday (10/15) and I may end up delivering in the hospital he was born in! (MIL loved that) our 3rd wedding anniversary is also in October so it's going to be a special month for us!
I guess I’d better introduce myself. I’m Molly, and I live in Nebraska. Super exciting lol. I am a SAHM to an almost 2 year old son (Apr 16 BMB). This is baby number 2, pregnancy number 3. This pregnancy is an “I got my IUD our and don’t want to go back on bc until I have another kid” pregnancy.
Prior to being a SAHM, I was a social worker at child protective services for close to 7 years. I’m always up for answering questions anyone has about those...issues haha.
I also coach a high high school color/Winter Guard (flags and wooden mock rifles from marching band, but cooler!)
Currently, I’m obsessed with my toddler, The Magicians, Snapchat, my husband and my cats. Pretty much in that order.
I’m mostly logging in from my phone, so I miss a lot of posts. But I try to catch up as fast as I can! My last BMB was DRAMA, and I’m hoping this one is more chill.
My name is Ashley. I'm 31 and live in Texas. I work fulltime and attend school fulltime. My husband and I are on our 4th pregnancy. We've got two fabulous girls (4,1, and one miscarried) and are hoping for a healthy and smooth pregnancy.
Looks like we'll be due 10/15 ish. Previous pregnancies included progesterone injections starting at 16 weeks, so I'm focusing on enjoying the last few weeks I'll have without them.
This is my pregnancy with the bump. I've used other apps, but a mom friend said the communities are much better here, so I'm giving it a go!
I'm currently expecting baby #5 and according to my ultrasound I am due October 11th. We weren't quite sure because I removed my IUD at the end of December and I got a positive test March 2nd but didn't have regular cycles yet. I have one adult child with my ex and the younger 3 with my husband of nearly 10 years. I'm 40 so I'm considered AMA. My last pregnancy was 3 years ago and I was high risk. I ended up on bed rest for the last month and in physical therapy until 6 months afterwards. I'm hoping we don't have to do that again. My family and I live in Wisconsin and I'm currently a sahm though I previously worked in social services. Trying to decide if I want to go team green for what is most likely my last pregnancy. The idea of not knowing is exciting but since we ironically just gave away all our baby clothes last summer I'm starting completely from scratch for this little one lol.
Feeling a little alone this time because many of my friends stopped at 2 babies. Also I'm 35 so this pregnancy will be AMA - something new for me. Looking forward to chatting with you all
I'm new here. FTM, expecting rainbow baby with my fiance after two miscarriages at 5 1/2 and 6 weeks. I'm currently 8 1/2 weeks. So grateful and hopeful everything goes great and we can meet our bundle of joy Oct. 23rd.
Congrats to everyone.
Sending best wishes.
I have been following the board for awhile and the advice from everyone has already been really helpful. I was an in vitro baby and always assumed I would have the same issues as my mom, so it was a bit of a shock when I found out I was pregnant - but a happy shock for sure.
DH and I live in the Midwest, I love the Michigan State Spartans and I’m currently trying to come up with ways to fake drink my way through St. Patrick’s Day.
I believe there's been a thread about faking drinking in public if you haven't seen it, it's got quite a few decent options and ideas! I'm on the app so I don't know how to link the thread but I'm sure you can find it easily. Good luck!
I love my dog and my cat as my own children.
Ive been posting in some other threads but thought I’d take the time to be proper and introduce myself!
My names Sara, live in Alabama! DH and I got quite the surprise last month when we found out we were expecting baby #1. Were calling it our little miracle baby cause I’ve struggled with inability to conceive, and we had basically stopped ‘trying’ altogether, until we could afford professional help. Ended up happening unexpectedly when I was home for a 3 day reprieve of a 4 week work trip.
EDD is currently 10/22, and I go for my first u/s on Tuesday. We can’t wait to see the lil bit. So far it all feels very surreal, and hoping for all positive news this week. Plans to tell the family next weekend!
Sending love and positivity to you all!
Hiiiie ladies !! I am a little late to the party ( and I can't quite post my own commented *yet* so I thought I'd reply to this one .
I am SO excited . I am 12 weeks pregnant tomorrow with our first child ! I am from Cobourg area in Ontario . DH and I got married last year and have been trying since last summer . He has a 14 year old son whom I love so much ! Still super nervous and hoping baby is healthy and growing up a storm ! I am very excited to be part of this group and get to know some lovely mamas !

TTC#2: 4/2018; BFP: 5/12/18; EDD: 1/19/19 (boy)
2 fur babies: Oakley Marley (11.5) & Ava Lynn (2)
I have a almost 6 year old DS, a 4 year old DS and an almost 2 year old DD. This is my 7th pregnancy.
TW* I had a late 2nd tri loss (incompetent cervix) between DS 2 and my DD and have had 2 early losses since August, the last being at 9 weeks in early January. LO is a surprise since we only DTD once due to waiting on a period. Oops lol
First u/s was yesterday and we are measuring right on time. EDD 10/30. I am high risk and will have a cerclage placed again at 14 weeks and will have weekly appointments until then.
My last bmb was great, so I cant wait to see how this one goes!
DH and I have a DS May'15 and a fur baby.
Nervous about bringing a new baby into family with a VERY spirited 3YO! We have to renovate to add a bedroom before EDD, and I'm a SAHM. This should be fun!
We live in SD, CA and I enjoy gardening and neighborhood strolls.
Looking forward to GTKY'all!
In same boat as you! I couldn't get an appt til 9 weeks (by my math), so waiting to see whether Halloween baby or early Thanksgiving baby!
Looking forward to seeing where you land!
