So glad this is up!!! I am a FTM. Looks like my EDD is 11/2/17.
After trying for 21 months, we went to a RE, did a bunch of fertility tests, and I was diagnosed with tubal scarring (due to a burst appendix several years ago). Just when we were a few weeks away from starting IVF, we very unexpectedly got a BFP! Called my RE and got my blood results back that day (beta 187) and another test a few days later (935). I'm going for a transvaginal ultrasound 3/9/17 and am excited/nervous. This all feels so surreal since the chances of us getting pregnant "on our own" were so slim and since we had been trying for so long.
Symptoms are mild cramps, very sore boobs, and a little "meh" about food in general.
Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Surprise! Unexpected BFP 2/22/17 just when we were about to start fertility treatment!
Hi all. Very happy to be here. EDD is 11/4 which is pretty accurate from both my standard cycle (30 days) and our timing this month. This was the first time in 3 or 4 months I WASNT tracking O so when AF didn't come AND I was not getting a BFP I assumed the worst. I am a little wary bc **TW** this is pregnancy #6 (1 ectopic, 2 mc, rainbow baby, 1 mc in Nov and this one), so I am not exactly jumping for joy just yet. I have my first appointment next Tuesday. **End TW**
I just started being active on TTGP after lurking for a little bit, but we've been TTC since August. LO will be one in two weeks, although we started TTC him in 2013 hence the early start for TTC #2! Just hoping that this baby is our second rainbow and I get to stick around.
Also PSA, I know a lot of gals from my March16 BMB do a bit of lurking around so if you see me here, I am not quite ready to share with the group yet. Thanks for keeping my secret for a little bit!
@flowerpower5838 - Congratulations and welcome! This is pregnancy #6 for me as well and PGAL is definitely raising her ugly head already. There will be a PGAL check-in starting up soon for sure. FX this will be another rainbow baby for you!
Hi everyone! My EDD is 10/31 (so I'm on the fence) but I felt not-quite-pregnant-enough to hang on the October board lol! I have a little guy the just turned 2 in December. Lots of nausea and smell sensitivity WAY earlier than my first pregnancy. We weren't planning on TTC until this month but this baby had other (very welcome) plans!
@BayCamp I'm in the same boat, late October and I feel way behind everyone on the October board. Much closer in due date to these early November mommas. I have a DD that's 18 months. So far very few symptoms, just bloat, gas and sore boobs! Very impatient for my dating ultrasound on the 17th!
@BayCamp Congratulations and Welcome to the Nov. board! Lots of nausea here too which is how I found out I was pregnant. I think my body is trying to outdo itself this time already.
Hi everyone! I just got my first BFP ever this past Saturday, and got had a blood draw done yesterday to confirm I've got a little passenger! Haven't gotten those results back yet, so no ultrasounds or anything at all scheduled yet. But hopefully the ball will get rolling quickly, and soon!
Obviously, FTM here, first pregnancy too. I'm only 4 weeks and 1 day (caught it quick, since we've been TTC since October), so that sets my EDD at 11/07. Boobs are crazy sore, but otherwise I'm feeling good. My mom and sister both had serious fertility issues, so I'm really crossing my fingers that this little one 'sticks' straight out the gate.
In other news, I just accepted a new job offer on Friday (before I got my BFP), so scheduling appointments will likely involve some interesting ninja moves...

Welcome to the board and congratulations on your BFP! We are glad you're here. Lots of sticky thoughts for you!
A reminder to everybody that the typical Wednesday threads that anyone can certainly start today are "WTF Wednesday", "Wednesday Ticker Change" and "STM+ Check-in". Please feel free to start those this morning. We may not have anybody with a Wednesday ticker change yet, but if you do please feel free to start the check-in! I posted a sample Check-in thread yesterday for anybody who is new and unsure how those go. Also, if you check the organization/guidelines thread and have suggestions for other check-ins we can do, please chime in on that thread so we can be as supportive as possible!
-Also, if you are having trouble either generating a ticker or getting it into your signature, please tag me and I'm happy to help you troubleshoot.
I got my very first BFP on Saturday! We had been trying for 6 months and we about to start fertility testing because it looked like I was starting to have annovulatory cycles. But surprise! We couldn't be more excited. My cycle this time was definitely very strange so I'm not exactly sure of my EDD but I think it's November 7th. First doctor's appointment is March 23rd.
I'm 27 and DH is 26 and this LO will be our first besides our little furbaby. I am so excited and anxious and I can't wait to start telling people. I'm terrible with secrets as some of you have already said but I think we will try to wait until after our first appointment.
Can't wait to get to know all of you better!

TTC Baby #1: August 2016-February 2017 BFP 02/25/2017, EDD 11/07/2017
Hi all! FTM here with one 8 week loss last fall. Due November 7th or 8th. This baby is the result of our first IVF cycle with a fresh transfer! I'm cautiously excited. I had a strong initial beta so that helps.
We are from silicon valley, California. My husband and I have two cute little doggies and we both work from home. It's a busy ace already but so hoping this is a sticky bean and it will be even busier come November!!
Hi everyone! Got a bfp 2/18, 3rd cycle TTC. EDD is 11/1. I have a DS who is 2 1/2. I am 40 and will be almost 41 when lo arrives. I had a mc prior to DS and developed pre-eclampsia and had DS 5 weeks early, so a little nervous and hoping everything goes well. My previous midwife retired, so I had to switch providers. My 1st appt isn't till the 31st of March and no US before hand. I'll be 10 weeks by then! I was hoping age and past hx would get me seen a little sooner, but no such luck. So far only symptoms have been some queainess and sore breasts. Didn't have too many symptoms 1st trimester with DS, so hoping for the same this time.

Congratulations and Welcome to the Nov. 17 board! I was charting and temping the past several cycles and February's was so bizarre I thought there was no way I was pregnant, so of course that's when I got my BFP. Glad to have you here!

Welcome and Congratulations on your BFP! Glad to have you here.
Hey mommas! It's been a while since being a regular for me. DS was born in April 2013 so since that BMB was active. I'm currently re-married with four kids (DD is 6, DS is 3, SD1 is 8, and SD2 is 7) and EDD November 9th with our +1.
H is active duty in the army and lives a state away during the week so he can work while I am at our new house with all the kiddos. We did it this way to give everyone consistency and then H will join us permanently when he gets out in August of 2018. It's gonna be a wild ride!
I substitute teach a couple days of the week and then stay home with DS on days he isn't in preschool. I'm already exhausted but that might partly be because I'm due to head to the doc for what I'm worried might be early pneumonia. No other symptoms to speak of yet but I've never had a pregnancy that didn't lead with at least three grueling months of MS so we will see how it goes!
Im raising my virgin mimosa (okay, orange juice) to all you ladies! Here's to a happy, healthy 9 months!
@libfish825 Welcome! It sounds like you have your hands full, especially with your H not being able to be with your family all the time. Thank you for his service and what your family does to support him! Best of luck at your doctor's appointment, I really hope that you don't have pneumonia. Glad you are here!
Hello All!!!! Have just been confirmed that baby #2 is on board. I'm a working mom of a 2 year old girl, my EDD is about 11/7/17. I remember 3 years ago being the FTM in the community and I can't wait to help pass on the knowledge I have learned along the way. Excited to be in this group and develop some friendships. Last time I was due in early November but ended up having to be induce because of GD and had my beautiful daughter in October.
Other then being a mom. I love reading books, seeing movies, watching TV (sports and shows), and playing video games. I'm excited to geek out with anyone over those things. So happy to be here and excited to be on this journey with all of you.
Hey all! I have been debating if I was ready to jump into my BMB, but since we aren't telling anyone for awhile I feel like I need to have some support during this time. EDD 11/11 according to FF.
I am a first time Mom (wow, saying "mom" in reference to myself sounds crazy!) and super nervous! I am 35 and DH will be 37 on Sunday. We don't live near any family except my much younger sister. I work in research and dh works in health and safety, we are lucky to be employed by the same Institution.
I have to have my betas tested again on Monday (originally Friday but doc thought Monday was better), I am a bit nervous about that...fx it continues to rise like it should. It's so early I am trying to just stay calm.

Hi everyone! I just got my first ever BFP at 4 weeks and I am...oh wow, I don't even know. My husband is over the moon, I am just totally floored (in the best way!) I still can't believe it. EDD is Nov 7.
It's so weird - I wasn't completely surprised, but I still feel super shocked anyway??
As for symptoms...In hindsight, I've been incredibly tired lately and super super scatterbrained and forgetful, which isn't like me. I blamed it on lack of sleep, but I've been getting at least 8 hours a night. I've also had some isolated, very minor cramp-like sensations in the last two days that did not result in a period (should have started yesterday). Also, I had a hysterical giggling fit where I laughed until I cried at work yesterday, which is completely out of the norm for me.
I look forward to getting to know people and congratulations to everyone

Hello everyone! My EDD is November 6th. I'm a first time parent, and so is my husband. We spent a long 14 months going through infertility treatments TTC, and finally had success! This is our first pregnancy, so we're just hoping for a healthy baby.
@Dumbgurl04 - Welcome and congrats! I also like to play video games and read books so definitely up for some geeking out any time. I was actually just looking back at the Jan 14 board from when I had my son and wishing I knew half the things as a FTM I know now, lol. I probably wouldn't have been such an anxious train wreck.
@c+mpeachey - Welcome and congratulations! Boo for HG. I know what you mean about feeling like going into battle. Things got rough with my last pregnancy. I'm already getting hit, though it's manageable so far. My Mom told me, "Maybe it won't be so bad this time," but that fact that I was being sick at 8dpo and that's why I tested doesn't bode well. Hang in there - we'll get through it together!
@emjup0225 - Welcome and congratulations! What a wonderful anniversary gift! I was a middle school teacher for 8 years. I actually quit before I got pregnant due to a heart condition, but I just have to give you a virtual hi5 for being a middle school teacher. I taught orchestra for 6-8 grade and it was absolutely bananas every day. I think I ran through every single possible emotion daily with those kids! I bet they will just be beside themselves when they find out.
@jess0211 - Welcome and congratulations on your BFP! Hope we can support you in any way that you need - just let us know. Waiting for betas can be so hard. There is a weekly appointment and beta thread where some others have been discussing betas if you want to join in there too. Will keep everything crossed for you!
@Tourmalily - Congratulations and welcome to the November board! I think it's totally normal to be shocked. I still have a digi test sitting on my bathroom counter and I might have checked it 2-3 times today just to make sure. Having cramps right around the time your period should have started and even periodically throughout the pregnancy is totally normal though it can be a little scary at times. Usually it's just part of your body getting ready to make room for that sweet baby! Glad to have you here!

Welcome and congratulations on your BFP! I think there are several others here who have had infertility treatments so we may start a check-in for those mamas if there is interest. Happy you are here with us on the November board!
Hi ladies! I'm a STM- I have a one and a half year old named Gabriel. My EDD is November 4th, although DS came early, so we'll see.. this one may be a Halloween baby. I'm a middle school teacher, and it's crazy but I love it. Looking forward to sharing the next several months with you!
