@kschref YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!!!! I literally tried to figure out the ticker my ENTIRE first pregnancy and finally gave up. Seriously, I could kiss you right now
Hi! We're expecting our 3rd LO on or around 11/5! (Although both of my DSs went past their due date, so I'm going to guess more mid-november). Very excited to see a bfp a week or so ago. I tried to really wait until my missed period to take a test, even though I had some symptoms that made me suspect I might be pregnant. It took us awhile to conceive DS #1 so I'm so grateful that this go around was quick, just 2 months of trying. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly. The first trimester can be so nerve wracking!
I work part-time in marketing in the midwest and am home with 2 little boys the other days. They are 4 and 2 and will be at a good age when this next one comes, I hope. Looking forward to getting to know everyone else!

Hello! This is my first pregnancy and my EDD is 11/2. I live in NYC with my husband and dog. Been watching this board for a few days but just got unlocked to post. Looking forward to hearing your experiences and advice. Couldn't believe how long you wait to see a doctor - the doctor I'm going to has a policy of 8-10 weeks so my first appointment isn't until end of March! Ack! So long to wait.
Hello, this is my first pregnancy also. EDD 11/2 as well. We've been married over 5 years but have just had our 2 dogs. I have been so incredibly nervous. We haven't told many people, just our parents and siblings. Waiting until 13 weeks to tell everyone else but I feel like that is so damn far away!
My husband and I have been ttc #2 since Octobober. we have a soon to be 4 year old son. After not having a period since December and several negative pregnancy tests. I went to my obgyn for next steps. She ordered blood work and an internal ultrasound to check for cysts.(I have pcos) After the technician took longer than I remember in the past to do my scan, she looked at me and said you're pregnant. I am happy to have had a nice technician to be kind enough to disclose that to me. I know it's something they aren't supposed to do. It definitely made my day!
I go here now!! Just had a beta with my RE today and it came back at 115! I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow. Pregnant from IVF i have a 3 year old son who has been begging for a sibling. So excited to get to know all of you!!
Hi ladies! So excited to find this board and have some other people to talk to! My EDD is November 14th, it's my second pregnancy but we lost our first baby back in November 2016. I'm feeling so excited but also incredibly stressed and nervous. Praying that everything goes well this time! Can't wait to here from everyone
Just took a prego test and it was positive! I'm a second time mom now with a 3 year old son. I think I'll be due on 11/14/17. It's so surreal. I had an idea that I was pregnant but now that I've gotten confirmation from the test, it doesn't even seem real. Hard to explain. I'm looking forward to sharing the journey with you all though. I dont think this feature existed the first time around, just the baby updates, so this will be a new and fun part of the experience. Congrats to you all.
Hi all, I'm so excited to be joining this group. This is my 4th pregnancy and second child. My EFF is 11/8 I have a two year old that is against naps and potty training at the moment. The fatigue and severe cramping is making it hard to keep up. The midwife says my bcc is doubling so hopefully we will be able to keep this precious gift. I have already told immediate family members and a couple friends as I have a hard time keeping secrets. However I am anxious to pick out announcement for fb for the rest of our large family and friends. At least we can talk about all our excitement and worried here!!!!
Hey everyone! I'm over the moon and still sort of in a fog over joining this BMB! I will be a third time mom and I have two boys, ages (almost) 6 and 3 1/2! I was active on my BMB for my last (if there is any D13 girls joining me then haaiiii) My EDD is 11/18, I enjoy long walks to my bed right now (so exhausted), and am a HUGE Hamilton junkie, and am going to see it in NYC 20 days before my due date, yikes! Looking forward to getting to know you and enjoy a happy, healthy, and fairly uneventful 9 months and beyond with you all!
@ugoglencoco - Welcome! I was just one off from you on the Jan14 board. I probably lurked there a bit as I was insanely jealous of all the ladies who got to have babies a month before me, lol.
Excited to join you ladies. I am a FTM due around 11/8. I've been lurking for the past week because *TW* I had a chemical last month and wanted to make it past how far we got last time.*TW* I got my BFP last week just before my birthday! Best present ever and crossing my fingers for a healthy & happy 9 months for all of us!
Hello everyone! I got my BFP yesterday morning! So my EDD should be about Novemeber 21st This will be baby #2! Hubby and I have been married for a 1.5 years but 7.5 years together. DD just turned 1 yesterday. So a great present for us! We have been ttc for several months and are super excited to finally start This journey! My last pregnancy I was a lurker on the boards but didn't post much until after DD was born. Hoping to be much more active this time around. So here we go..
Hi all. Just got my positive test this week - due Nov 19th. I have one DS with my husband of 3.5 years. I was active on my previous BMB (April 15).
@ugoglencoco I just saw Hamilton tickets released this week for November 2017 on and I waited in line on the website to go on my birthday 11-11 but didn't get the tickets! Obviously I am Hamilton obsessed and will have to just wait for the show to come here to DC. Are you into all musicals? I am heading to see the musical Chicago in a few weeks here!
Love the name @ElizabethSchuyler !! Yes, I am very into all musicals. I'm taking my older son next month for his first Broadway experience, going to see The Lion King! He asked if he could go to Hamilton and I told him he would have to wait until it was in Boston because that's closers to home for us and he would be a little older.
I saw Chicago on a touring production a few years ago, it was great! My wish list is huge right now, as I've also yet to see Book of Mormon, and I want to see Dear Evan Hansen pretty bad too! I usually go with my mom or sister, my husband took the most expensive nap of his life when I took him to see wicked with me. But he is adamant about going to Hamilton so we will see how it goes!
@ugoglencoco I can tell that we are going to be friends. The Lion King sounds amazing! My husband is also known to fall asleep during movies/live shows in which we have seats so I just no longer take him along. I'm not paying for naps.
Hi everyone! I'm due late October or early November, still not sure of my dates. I've been lurking both boards and like the vibe here, so I'm jumping in. This will be baby #2.
@ugoglencoco DH wants to see Book of Mormon really badly!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Hey ladies! I am expecting 11/1/2017. This is my second baby. My son will be 7 in August. He doesn't know yet but he has been asking for a brother or sister for a very long time haha. Me & the daddy are engaged so in the middle of planning for a baby, we are planning a wedding, AND remodeling his house. It's going to be a chaotic 9 months! He has two kids, 13 (girl) and 10 (boy). I'm VERY nauseated all day long, could probably sleep for days, my boobs hurt so bad, my mood changes in an instant, and I'm constantly hungry. I will be having a c-section. My OB asked if I wanted to try for VBAC but since my son was 10 POUNDS 1oz and 24 inches long.. I am opting out in case this baby is that big as well!!! Ha!! I am kinda dreading being big & pregnant in the summer again. I live in Alabama & our southern summers are HOTTTTT!!! I can't wait to be on this journey with y'all
Hi, STM here! Have twin boys aged 21months and have been trying since December, just found out we're pregnant EDD 11/16. I'm really nervous about it being twins again because so many people have joked about it, really hoping for a singleton and easier pregnancy this time around!!
Hi All, am so so SO happy to be here. Had my faint positive this morning, with an EDD of 11/24. This will be our first child but third pregnancy, following two losses in 2015 and a period of infertility. It all feels a little bit eerie right now, because the estimated due date is the exact date my first baby was supposed to be due. I was actually supposed to be going in this week to speak with my doctor about beginning fertility treatments this next month, and am still feeling some disbelief over seeing that second pink line this morning! Am praying hard I get to spend the next nine months (eight months?) with all of you.
Hi guys. I'm a STM but this was our first time to actually be trying. First one was a surprise! Things are so different this time! I'm currently 5w3d and I've got no symptoms. At this point with my first I thought I was coming down with the flu! My first is now 15 months and will be a few weeks from her second birthday when this one is due. I'm so excited to see her as a big sister but kind of nervous about being a mom of two
Hello!! I just got my BFP on Thursday. I am not sure my EDD because I got pregnant while still nursing my 13 month old daughter. This will be my fourth child; I have an almost 5 year old, 3 year old and then 13 month old. This one was somewhat unplanned; we had talked about the possibilities of a fourth but I was leaning more towards no more children. :P We are still excited though. And still trying to let this new reality set in.

Hi All! This is my second baby - in fact I just left the November 2016 birth group to come here as she's only four months old today We definitely weren't planning a second so soon, but I'm excited! It actually looks like we might even have the exact same due date as last year, 11/5, but I'm yet to have the ultrasound to confirm. I feel totally different than last time. With my daughter I was so nauseous, emotional, and my sense of smell made me throw out every product my boyfriend owned they smelled so strong. This time, nothing but fatigue and slight headaches. Makes me wonder if it's a boy this time - we'll see! Excited to go through this all over again
Hi everyone! I am brand new to this site and this forum. I'm a FTM, and this is my first pregnancy. My husband and I have been trying for 23 months and it's been a very difficult and emotional journey. I had thyroid issues and my HSG test revealed that I had one closed tube, so we were almost certainly going to start IUI this March. After (probably 100) negative pregnancy tests over the last two years (I'm a serial POAS-er), I was shocked to see my BFP a couple of weeks ago. I caught it very early and went in to my RE the same day to do a blood draw. HCG was at 83 and has been doubling nicely since then.
My EDD is November 9 and I'm 5 weeks 3 days. So excited to join this group of mommies-to-be! Had a couple more blood tests last week, and my HCG was at 8000 something but my progesterone had dropped from 23 to 15, so my RE put me on progesterone suppositories. We are cautious and concerned, but optimistic and hopeful that this little peanut will stick!
Hi everyone, I wrote a post introducing myself earlier this week but I don't think it ever posted. Anyways, this is my 2nd pregnancy but I had a MC around November of last year. Hoping and praying that this baby sticks! A little about myself... I'm from Southern California, love the beach, doing yoga, hiking, and painting. I used to be a ballet dancer but decided to quit pursue other things. I'm pretty young (only 21) but my husband and I just celebrated our first anniversary 2 weeks ago. I'm 4w 5d preggo and my EDD is November 14th. Can't wait to get to know everyone!
@Emmaholmes89 the same thing happened to me! I got pregnant when my first was 4 months (while EBF and on the mini pill). My second pregnancy was so different than the first that I was positive the second one was a boy and called it by a boy name for the first 18 weeks (I was super sick for my first and basically only ate bread for 14 weeks... second time around I was practically symptomless and often forgot I was even pregnant!). Turned out to be another girl! They are 2.5 and 1.5 now and although I didn't plan it I love that they are so close in age now.
@Tallmomma29 Aw, that's amazing! Are you having your third now?
I was on the same pill and am still exclusively breast feeding too, although the past week my supply has suddenly dropped which I'm guessing is probably baby number 2 taking away some of the calories. I wont tell my other half your story cause he's so sure it's a boy and is all excited. Either way I can't wait to find out and to see them together
Hi all, I just got my BFP today! I could not be more happy!!!!!! ***TW I had a missed miscarriage in December so this is my second pregnancy. I was active in the July 2017 board for a short period**** End TW. I am so excited to get to know all you ladies!!!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Hello everyone. I found out I was pregnant today. This will be my 3rd child, 5th pregnancy. I have an almost 6 year old daughter and a 4 year old son.
My EDD based on LMP is 11/4, but I am certain that will change, since I was just able to get a positive test today. So far, I am nauseous, and my breasts really hurt.
My wife is carrying our first baby, who is expected to arrive around November 15th. We were so happy to find out last week that our seventh IUI attempt (second, with Clomid) was a success!
We have been trying to conceive for over one year, but we had to take several months off last Summer and Fall while my wife had some health problems requiring two surgeries. Fortunately, she is in much better health now than she was last year at this time, and so we really do believe that the timing now is perfect.
A little about us: I'm 36, she's 37, but we'll both have had birthdays by the time Baby arrives (we started trying to conceive at her "advanced maternal age," haha). We have been married for six years and together for 12. We live in New England, are avid animal lovers and have two cats and a dog.
I hope I'll be welcome here, even though I'm not the pregnant Mom; I'm super-excited for motherhood and all its joys and challenges that lie ahead. I also really look forward to getting to know all you other Moms and hearing about your experiences as well!
@ElizabethSchuyler@ugoglencoco Big musical theatre fan over here too! We used to live in NYC and saw shows all the time (I also worked at a few). Now DH works at a big theatre company out west and we see the shows here lol. My screen name is Rent inspired

I want to be excited but between PGAL brain, DH's freaking out, and a tough situation at home (caring for my own high-maintenance, aging mom) etc, it hasn't been what I expected. No giddiness, just meh. i guess I feel skeptical of things working out, though I hope they do. last year's early mc was such a hard thing for us.
