I realized yesterday that I couldn't care less about getting stretch marks on my belly or boobs. I have a few really light ones on my belly already, but they don't bother me, at all. I have no desire to ever bare any part of my torso in public, so the only people who will ever see them is DH and me.
I asked DH last night "do you think my stretch marks will make me any less attractive?" And he gave me a look like I was ludicrous for even asking and said "Umm, no. That's dumb."
What a relief!
@books&icecream I've been wondering the same thing, though not for public transit. We were on a tour yesterday and I didn't realize how much standing it would be because the lady was so scattered and long winded. EVERY time we changed rooms, this dad and his 3 kids ran for the chairs and used all of them the entire time. I was so annoyed. I kept rubbing my belly and sighing to see if they would get the hint, but they never did.

I'm watching Gilmore Girls over again for the third time this pregnancy. I keep trying to start new series that I haven't seen, but can never seem to get through more than 2 episodes.
I still don't know if I passed my glucose test, they haven't called me.
Also, I killed a mosquito at home, the kind with the striped legs...the aedes aegypti kind, and i'm slightly freaking out.
@annabenanna - No news is good news! Fingers still crossed for you, though!
That's one good thing about the living in the deep south. It's extremely rare that I have to open my own door or stand while others are seated. And that's always been the case, even before I was pregnant.
Southern hospitality is real, y'all!

Don't get me wrong, no one has even been overtly rude, but folks definitely revert back to the same level of Midwestern straight-forwardness as before. One thing I love about this part of the world is the lack of fluff, but I was surprised that babies don't get the same pass out of the belly as they do still in the belly.
