1) I'm a huge Seahawks fan, babe is not allowed to be born during a game, lol (no TV in the birth center)
2) DH's extended family always do Thanksgiving, so no concerns there. I will babywear the whole time and claim sleeping/BFing baby so I don't have to share, lol.
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!

My husband is a Detroit fan and I'm a San Francisco fan. Ironic, because he was raised in CA and I was raised here in MI. Lol. So we're constantly arguing Tigers vs Giants and Lions vs 49ers. College there's no argument tho. This baby already has 6 MSU onesies.
My random is that I bought some bra extenders (a 3 pack for $9) and I wonder why I haven't done this earlier. Why???? Because now my girls are so happy. So so happy. I love having an alternative to pasties (because you guys I've given up on wearing bras after sizing up TWICE)
guys... this cute little guy moved into Neema (my work) yesterday and I have to fight the urge to just sit and cuddle him all day when I have other stuff to do

My embarrassing random is that I spent about an hour yesterday freaking out because I was spotting. I called L&D and they told me I needed to go to the hospital. Not even my hospital that I'm supposed to deliver at, but the one downtown Detroit. Apparently that's the only Henry Ford hospital that can deliver before 32 weeks. I was freaking out. Deliver?! Why am I delivering?! They told me if there was no reason for the spotting, if it was spontaneous, then I could be ruptured or my placenta could have detached and baby might be coming now.
So after calling my husband to figure out if he could get off work and give me a ride and FREAKING OUT all over him, he finally had enough of my spazzing and said, "Calm the F down! I'm sure everything's fine. You do remember that we had sex last night, right?"
Um.... no. I had forgotten that. It had been so long since we'd been intimate, it didn't occur to me that sex could have been the cause. The nurse on the phone even asked me if I'd had sex or a pelvic exam recently and I'd told her no. I immediately felt very silly and went back to work. No more spotting since. Lol
@krzyriver Gah! I would have freaked out too! Glad it was a false alarm!
So we went to our last birthing class last night and our instructor had us do an exercise that I thought was really helpful. She had us hold ice in our hand for a minute (no switching hands) to simulate how we may react to a contraction and have our "support partners" help calm us down and talk us through it... most of what DH did was great, but when he started singing "just keep swimming" from Finding Nemo I told him to shut it. Obviously it's a totally different pain and sensation than a contraction, but I still found it helpful and will be trying it at home as well to help practice my breathing and such. Just wanted to share in case anyone else might find it helpful!
I passed my GT test! Woohoo! When the doc told me that my baby was measuring big, I was convinced that I had GD. Apparently, I just have a chunky girl.
guys seriously. He's so sweet. and his name is David which I think is just totally adorable. He's 3 weeks old.

Now I get to go figure out why my 12-year-old younger sister has been sitting in jail since 4 am, with my mother being aware of this and not doing anything about it...
@Julia70286 if my hubby started singing just keep swimming, I probably would have punched him in the ribs lol maybe my hubby should get some body armour for the delivery

Update: Hoodrat decided that she was going to accompany a group of her buddies on a breaking-and-entering rampage at the high school. They broke into every single building on campus, vandalized them, destroyed school property, and stole everything they could get their hands on. They were arrested at 4am, and she was sent to juvenile hall. The ONLY reason they let her be picked up yesterday is because she has a broken arm. I really want to break her other one... she was not raised this way... and I want to go break the arms of the woman she stayed the night with who seems to think it's perfectly acceptable to let twelve and eleven year old girls leave the house after 11pm and wander around town all night with boys! What the literal fuck?! Finally, I would like to break my mother's arms (and face) for letting my sister stay with people she KNOWS are no good just because she doesn't feel like dealing with her own daughter... This could be a much larger more epic rant, buy I will just leave it at this before I ruin my own morning.
