IUI 1/10/16, so today is 8dpo. Cramping on the right side, sore nipples, sore lower back, very tired, and some nausea this morning...but I'll bet it is the endometrin.

@chefandwife620 & @llc418 what are you doing to make the days pass faster in the TWW?

@PCOSbaby I am going to try VERY hard not to test until the 31st. I have tested out the trigger before and it seems to make me more anxious. So I'm gonna try and hold strong this time around. Good Luck to you!!!

I don't feel like I'm going to be able to do my IUI this month either. I just have a feeling I've already ovulated and this cycle is a bust. Just a feeling. I'm so anxious for my ultrasound.

@Lin&say I'm on CD 18. I took one round of Femara 5 mg days 3-7. Had my u/s on day 12 and my biggest follicle was 8 mm. Took another round of Femara on days 12-16. My bbt looks like I ovulated. I think I'm just freaking myself out. My u/s is tomorrow morning.

I am 10DPIUI now and I can definitely say this TWW is way worse then the actual IUI procedure. LOL. Every little twinge, stomach cramp, sore muscle, CM, headache, pain........ I am definitely symptom spotting

Anyone else? It is so hard not to!! Good luck to those of you getting your IUI this week! FX for some BFPs!

@chicandbubbly I definitely was that way on my first IUI which was a bust. I'm on my second and I've pretty much decided that it will be a BFN...until yesterday and today when I am pretty nauseas, and now I'm symptom spotting just like you! Sounds like we are on almost the same track. Try not to drive yourself nuts!

Went for yet another scan this morning (CD 18) and the dominant follicle is up to 20 so the doctor who did the scan said most likely I'll trigger tonight with IUI on Thursday. I'll know for sure when they call me back with my bloodwork results.

@MarlyHC I go on this forum way to much. I analyze every symptom hoping its a pregnancy. Today I went to the dentist.. I know I was super excited too. I live in Florida so we have had hot and cold back and forth. I feel like either I have a cavity or a sinus flair up but of course I can't take anything for it. So what does my dentist say today. Just take an antihistamine...I'm sure you are going to be fine. Ummm no.
My husbands sister is pregnant again her 3rd in 3 years so Irish triplets and I can't even stand to be near her. I'm I alone in these feelings. She knows what's going on with us and says nothing in regard to it.

Where is everyone located if I may ask?

@Chefandwife620 I'm in Madison, Indiana.
I don't see many people who are successful with IUIs. I wonder if I'm wasting my time. Still freaking out about my appointment in the morning. On top of all of that I have to make the 1.5 hour drive in the middle of the worst of the snow showers. Ugh. If I have to go back Friday or Saturday there is going to be another round of it. I wish I lived closer to the clinic. And of course I'm expecting the worst news. This cycle has been the hardest of them all and idk why. Do any of you do bbt with medicated cycles? I have either already ovulated (I don't see how I did on CD 12 with an 8 mm follicle like my FF chart suggested) or my bbt is all over the place.

@arbasham From what I understand, meds can mess up bbt. So I would try not to worry too much (easier said than done, I know). I stopped temping once I started meds so I didn't have to stress about it. Can you post your chart? And I'm in Indy so I feel your pain about driving in the snow tomorrow. Ugh. Safe travels.

@arbasham I have had many friends who have got pregnant off iuis some the first time on injections. I think it's just luck sometimes and every body is different. Stay positive and good luck. I'm on my 5th iui so it is fustrating

Link is in my signature on the full site. I did an override because it said I ovulated on CD 12. I'm not on injections yet @ultratomato. Just Femara. I'm thinking about stopping the temps. I guess I'll ask my RE in the morning.

I am located in Sacramento CA. I always hope someone will be near so we can meet up grab a drink and vent on an off cycle!!!

I do not personally know anyone who has had success with IUIs but I do know women who have had success with IVF. I often feel like maybe IUIs are wasting my time. But given that I have some insurance coverage for IUI and NONE for IVF, I can't afford not to at least try them. I am definitely not doing any more than 3 though. After that I will just take the $1000+ I am currently spending each cycle and save up for IVF...

I am in Omaha,Nebraska. We just got the snow showers that are heading to Indiana. They were horrible, it doesn't help when people drive like it is there first time driving in snow.

I am only 3 days into the tww and I am growing so impatient. This is cruel and unusual punishment. Has anyone tested yet or is anyone close to test time???

Is anyone in FL? I wish I could find a "clinic buddy" to compare notes with. I've always wondered if my plan is created based off my test results or if it's a PCOS cookie cutter plan.

I was curious the protocols for each RE IUI procedure. For me I take birth control the first two weeks then wait for AF. Next I take letrozole 10 2.5mg pills at one time. Then the next ten days I get ultrasounds every few days to see the growth of follicles, this month it took 6 days longer but then took my trigger and did IUI the next two days.

Just had IUI done. In 2ww now. 100 million sperm with 65% motility. Lowest motility yet. It's usually 90% so not sure what happened there.

Ok IUI number 2 of the cycle is done. Sooo excited to have it over. I have got to the RE 5 out of the last 7 days for folli checks and two IUIs. The 45 minute drive each way has been killing my work schedule bit luckily they have gotten me in and out of appointments quickly. Started the dreadful suppositories tomorrow. Officially done with treatment and in the TWW. Woo hoo.

I'm officially moving on to IVF in the next month or so. I went for a second opinion at RMA NY (any local NYC ladies here?) and really liked them. Was told that I pretty much won't have any luck with IUIs if I keep going that route, so I'm prepping myself for IVF. It's a lot of information to take in, so I'm taking the next few weeks off to let my body rest after the last 3 IUI cycles and then on to IVF we go. I'll be lurking around here and hoping to see some bfp's from you ladies! XO

@arbasham I feel the same way sometimes about IUI's, but I've seen some people on here where they have worked. It's tricky stuff because the timing has to be really perfect. FX for all of us!

Anyone close to being able to test yet? I had my second iui on the 9th and will test on Saturday. I've definitely been symptom spotting like crazy and now I'm just convinced that it didn't work. Hopefully that's not the case. Good luck to all of you this month!

My SO has to collect his specimen in the lab because we live so far away. Has anyone else's SO had to do this and what was it like? Mine is super nervous that he won't be able to give an adequate sample. When he had to do his SA initially he was only able to get like 0.5ml. Any advice would be appreciated. TIA.
