Went to RE today for u/s and bw on cd8 got two 12mm follicles on right and one 15mm on left looks good

@MarlyHC unfortunately I did end up with a confirmed BFN  
I'm figuring out my next steps with some new tests and a new RE, so remaining hopeful!

@ZoeFer thank you, I am happy I made the decision to see someone else. He right away ordered a new blood test that my previous RE did not do and gave me options for next steps depending on how the tests come back. It's already a step in a new direction, I feel.

@ZoeFer no idea why it was late. I haven't seen my Re yet since I was traveling for work and he let me take letrazole without a baseline. Thank goodness otherwise I would've had to skip this month.
Finishing up my last letrazole today and going in for a follie check Monday. Planning on bd as much as possible before then. I'm always scared I will ovulate sooner. Which has happened once before.

Boo I guess I'm going to have to miss the month, even without the trip DH has too many days where he absolutely can't be there around the time we would need him. So I guess I'll try to relax and be back at it next month.

Hello all, I have DOR at 28 DH no issues, and after a year of TTC we have moved on to our first and Medicated IUI in January. Had my baseline and took 100mg of Clmoid for 5 days. Went in for Follicle scan on CD 11 (1/14) and i had 1 dominant on the left (12mm) and 1 closely behind on right (11.5) and 4 other really small ones(around 8mm). I was asked to come back on CD 13 (1/16) to have another follicle scan to see if the two possible ones are growing as they should then will take the HCG shot if all looks good and IUI Tues (CD16)or Weds (CD17). To me, it seems as though even the dominant follicle is small since they average to grow about 2mm a day...i was assured that with DOR my follicle count looks as expected and I am "on track". Since this is so new to me I guess I just feel that I may not even get to the minimum 18-22mm to trigger and have the IUI...anyone experience no growth after their follow up follicle scan?

RE called and told me to only take 100ul now because my estrogen level was really high and to BD all weekend. Go back Monday to see the progress hopefully iui Tuesday or Wednesday

Starting IUI process again tomorrow. Insemination for the 27th if all goes well. Please let this be the month!!!!! 2016 will NOT suck as much as the last 6 years of my life!!!!

@Hammy87 2016 is our year!!! I feel it!!  

I had my final follie check yesterday.  Lining was 7.8mm (I've had thin lining issues so this was good for me  )  LH was 7.5 and Estradiol was 1201.  She said I have 5 eggs ready to go.  Triggered last night at 10pm...ouch!!!  and IUI scheduled for Sunday morning!!!!!  First IUI...eekk!!

@Starlight811 How did your follie check go today? I know it's a little late for advice but you could still hit the 18mm mark. Keep in mind you still have another 24-36ish hours after the trigger for them to keep growing.

Thanks for asking @Lin&say ! So my left dominant follicle became a 14mm but my right ended up growing faster and is now dominant at 15.5mm with a third possible at 12mm this is CD 13. They want time for the third follicle to catch up so I am scheduled to take HCG shot Tues night (1/19) and the IUI 36hrs later Thrs Morning (1/21) this will be CD 18. So i responded well to Clomid my RE had said that those with DOR tend to respond better to Clomid even though it is a more mild medication. My concern is that I may ovulate before my IUI happends.. my cycles are about every 28 days regularly and when TTC on our own for the past 14 months we have used the LH surge test strips and I generally had the darkest line day 11 so I hope it is not scheduled too late. From what RE says the medications can change the cycles length and also good indicator why we have not been successful using the test strips alone thinking im ovulating earlier than I truly am.

@Starlight811 Sounds like you'll have some nice follies come Thursday morning! Did your RE recommend any sex before just in case you surge early? Mine recommended sex 3 days before IUI in case I ovulate earlier than expected and that still gives DH the 3 day hold they recommend. I know there's a lot of varying advice on this though, but might be worth checking. FX for you!

@Lin&say - my RE did recommend sex Sunday and Tuesday (Day of HCG shot) just in case earlier ovulation. I don't know if that is because DH numbers we very very high count and mobility (analysis was after 3 days) and they aren't asking for a longer hold time from sex and IUI...but very good point. I think I will email my RE and ask...my follicle scans are always with the Nurse Practitioner but the IUI is with RE.

Almost one week down on the TWW here...sliding into one more week. I don't feel as crazy as last month, which was my first IUI, though I feel a little like I wont be pregnant on this go round, where last time I was convinced it would work.

CD 16 here and went to the RE for another scan. On my right side I have a 17mm which it seems is the dominant, but he also measured some 12s, 13s, and maybe a 14. Got a call back with my bloodwork and it seems like my hormone levels aren't indicating ovulation yet, so he wants me back in two days which will be CD 18 for another scan and bloodwork. Seems like the follicle(s) are taking their sweet time to grow this cycle!

I went for my first iui this morning and as you ladies had told me, it was a piece of cake.  I thought..."That's it, it's over?"  I couldn't believe it.  Now of course I'm sitting here thinking "what if I ovulated early and we missed it!" There is always something to worry about. I test on 1/31.  Anyone else testing anytime soon??

@erica0901 I also have slower growing follicles it seems but I guess every cycle can be so different and thats normal for so many..good luck on CD 18 wishing lots of growth for you!

@mrandmrssmith007 thats good to hear it was a piece if cake! I have my first IUI this month also its on thrs 11/21 (CD18)...I am on clomid & it seems to be making my cycle length longer and delaying the day I assumed I was ovulating in the past. I totally understand the "what if I ovulated early" I think we will always just worry until we get our bfp! Good luck on test day!

I'm feeling lost right now. I finished my second round of Femara this cycle and my FF chart says I've already ovulated from my temps. My RE doesn't do blood work so I feel in the dark. I'm supposed to have another ultrasound on CD 19. Will he be able to tell if I've already ovulated just from ultrasound? I don't want to waste money on an IUI if it's just on a guess. I'm feeling very emotional and idk if it's me or my hormones or what.

@arbasham you should be able to tell from the US if you have ovulated or not because there will either be no follicle or a collapsed or "wavy" looking follicle. I would insist next cycle for your doctor to do bloodwork. Your RE could also draw your blood this upcoming appointment and they can tell by your progesterone level whether or not you have ovulated. Unfortunately, and I have learned the hard way, that you really do have to advocate for yourself. My RE prior to this one did not monitor me close enough and I had to say something (I ended up ovulating early and therefore missed my chance to do the IUI), and eventually I switched RE's. Please let me know if you have any other questions, I know this process can be extremely emotionally overwhelming.

I've ovulated once naturally so no IUI and we just bd'ed. Unfortunately it didn't work but at least we had a chance.
Went in for my follie check today and ready to trigger tonight and IUI scheduled for Wednesday.

Hello ladies! I've been waiting a week to be accepted and aloud to post on the message boards. This month is my first IUI. A little back ground. I'm 37 DH is 31 (yes I nfeel like a cougar sometimes. Lol) I have kids from a previous marriage and wanted to try again. Been trying for a year thinking it would happen right away..NOPE. We started going to our RE in August. ALL the tests I had done came back great even at my age ovulation reserve 5.5 but DH was a different story. He has low counts of both testosterone and swimmers plus low morphology and motility. He said basically they just swam in circles like a dog chancing his tails. We were never going to get pregnant that way. So he went on KETO diet. Our RE is a big believer in low carb diet and started taking pregnal shots twice a week along with Femara. His soldiers went from 15 million to almost 75 million and has lost 60 lbs in the process. But still no baby. So last month we started IUI (without insurance ugh) and my body was not wanting to grow follicles as fast as they thought. Three days would pass and they would grow from 9mm to 11 mm. They were about to cancel my cycle but they said come in Sunday 1/10and we will do a scan. And sure enough right side has 18, 17 & 15. I cried so hard. That night he gave me my shot and we did IUI the next two days, totaling 16.8 million post wash. And now the TWW. Today I went in for my progesterone blood test. But these meds are confusing me with symptoms. Nothing has tested our relationship more than going through this. Baby dust for everyone.

Went RE today said that the two on the right free to 15/16 and the one on the left grew to 17 so iui is scheduled for Wednesday unless bw says differently. So I have three possible which is great! Keeping positive

@erica0901 This RE comes so highly recommend. I don't know if he is just trying to get a feel for how I respond to the medication or what. I want to think he knows what he's doing but, like you said, this process is so overwhelming. I just want to hurry up and get it over with lol. I'm getting antsy waiting on Wednesday!

Those are my dates as well! One more week.
Has anyone tested positive yet? Or can tell me possible symptoms?
