IUI for me this morning! 30 mil post wash & thaw with our donor, and after 5 hour round trip to get to the office (30+ inches of snow in our area this weekend) hoping for a BFP!

Anyone take the HCG trigger and experience excess salivation about a week later? I am at work following my same routine but almost choked on my saliva it has just really increased this morning and hasn't stopped..when AF is due I actually start to get dry mouth a few days before. Wondering if HCG shot could be causing this I am 6dptrigger and 4dpiui or anyone else experiencing? Just strange not concerning I suppose..

My cancelled-IVF-converted-to-IUI resulted in another BFN for me. Not unexpected-- this makes 8 failed IUIs for me. I don't think it's going to do the trick.

So went to Doctor this morning and they said my ovaries were big. They asked if I had pain I said no and they said everything was fine. So I'm just worried now about the ovaries being big anyone have that happen?
@ultratomato I haven't heard about that before. If your doctor wasn't concerned then I am sure it is nothing to worry about. Was it your actual ovaries or your follicle size?

I had some cramping a little bit after my IUI. I wasn't sure if it was from ovulating or from the procedure itself. Anyone else experience that? When the Dr. did the IUI it felt like a pinching sensation for a few seconds. Nothing terrible though. Today I feel a bit bloated and still a little crampy. I hope I ovulated

@arbasham cramping is normal could be from ovulating or the procedure should subside in a few days after. If it continues longer then a few days call Doctor. Hope that helped I had cramping a few days after my iui
Did anyone have a resident perform their IUI? I've had two done by residents and one by my doctor. The two performed by the residents were borderline excruciating where the one performed by my doctor was completely painless. I'm thinking of requesting no more residents ever again.

@laurenlalap My Dec IUI was performed by a resident and I experienced pain. Since it was my first one, I really didn't know if that was normal or not. I almost took a Tylenol because the pain lasted over 8 hours.
This month my IUI was performed by my RE and it was completely painless. If you are concerned, definitely request for the RE to perform the IUI. Me personally, I always feel bad about doing that because I hate to hurt the resident's feelings.
@laurenlalap and @emgem819 Hopefully that won't even be an issue because you'll get your BFP!
As for me, I plan to test Thursday. Wish me luck!

@laurenlalap mine have both been done by NPs, but they also both happened to fall on a Sunday. During the week, my regular RE would have done them, but it just hasn't worked out that way. I did think mine were really uncomfortable and I had a lot of cramping after.
@Chefandwife620 how many dpo were you when you went in for your beta? I pulled out my FRER and it was a faint BFP. My RE wanted a beta ASAP so I'm playing the beta wait game. Since I'm only 10dpo, I'm expecting a low number.

TI for 4 cycles: 1 round of femara; 2 rounds femara/ injectables: all ended in BFN.
3 IUI Cycles: letrozole/Follistim with HCG Trigger,all resulted in BFN.
FET #1: Baseline appt 4/28/16, Gonal-F/Menopur stims, Centrotide 5/4/16, ER 5/11/16; 6/8/16 ET, BFN
FET #2: Baseline appt 6/22/16, Estrace/PIO shots: 7/12/16 ET, 1st beta 7/21/16: 83 BFP, 2nd beta 7/23/16: 315. 1st U/S: 8/4/16 empty sac. 2nd U/S: 8/10/16 yolk sac appeared, everything stopped growing. Office D&C: 8/11/16, MC.
FET #3: Baseline appt 12/28/16, Estrace/PIO shots: 1/17/17 ET, 1st beta 1/27/17: 146 BFP, 2nd beta 1/29/17: 336, 1st U/S: 2/16/17, 2 healthy twin babies measuring 7w0d. EDD: 10/5/17

This month my IUI was performed by my RE and it was completely painless. If you are concerned, definitely request for the RE to perform the IUI. Me personally, I always feel bad about doing that because I hate to hurt the resident's feelings.
@laurenlalap and @emgem819 Hopefully that won't even be an issue because you'll get your BFP!
As for me, I plan to test Thursday. Wish me luck!

My nurse called today and said my beta number was 169, which they want anything over 50. No further blood work but I have an ultrasound on Feb 8th to see placement of embryo.
Thanks for the well wishes! I'm feeling hopeful this time.

I still have 1 week left of the dreaded 2ww....the last one is ALWAYS the worst...my impatience is growing now
@Chefandwife620 how many dpo were you when you went in for your beta? I pulled out my FRER and it was a faint BFP. My RE wanted a beta ASAP so I'm playing the beta wait game. Since I'm only 10dpo, I'm expecting a low number.
