next week is when i told myself i could take half days most days of the week to use up my PTO.

next week is also when DH starts his new job full time....

timing. i swear. would have been nice to have had some days home with him, but SO thankful that we'll get 3 weeks of double income!!

OMG I just broke down in a hideously ugly cry because I just discovered that my OB accepts Medicaid...and my FIL who has been paying our private insurance premiums (and any associated deductibles) is suddenly having a conniption about it. Being that I'm unemployed and DH's income isn't enough to support us, I qualify for Medicaid, so to find out that I can keep my OB and essentially still get awesome care without having to break my FIL's bank is SUCH a relief. I can't even begin to tell you how much of a weight this lifts off of my shoulders.

No more dawn. You may eat off minimal soap scum but you do not want it in you vagina. And again, if it is made out of silicone it will break it down little by little.

It will dry the toy out causing little cracks that bacteria can hide in. You need to use a toy cleaner!

This makes me wonder... am I the only one who lifts up my butt and wipes front to back? Getting poo anywhere near my urethra/vagina is just... ew. Asking for infections that way. x.x

I've busted out the flushable wet wipes for exactly this reason. The hemmies and not being able to properly reach to wipe are not a good combo. Ouch.

I had vaginal delivery and it took about 3 weeks. I had a hard time healing and lots of stitches. Like others said different for everyone.

It's the only thing that's kept our sex life alive this late. Last pregnancy, I was totally comfortable on top, but this time, I'm just not. Thank God he can read me like a book and has figured out a way to make sure we can still both enjoy it til the end.

Like other's have said, totally different for each person and each delivery.

With my first I was pretty sore for almost a month because of all the trauma to my lady parts (lots of stitches) But with my second I was up and feeling great as soon as labor was over....no joking, I was out and about as soon as we were discharged from the hospital. Both were vaginal deliveries.

My hubs won't even consider going down on me with all this discharge and I don't blame him. Our sex life has def taken a back seat. I think we are averaging once a month.

@fireflygirl12 Unless the first name rhymes with your last name (looking at you, Julia Gulia) or combines to form Voltron (looking at you, North West) you might be overthinking it! In my opinion, you have to absolutely love the first name, then you can make the rest fall into place. I wouldn't let a name I wasn't quite so crazy about take priority over one I truly loved just because of last name conflicts, sibling name conflicts, initialing conflicts, etc. Not that I wouldn't consider those things, but my priority would be truly loving the first name.

I like your name options you've mentioned for #2 in the past. I think the FNs and MNs go together well and I think they fit well with your DS1's name. Without knowing your last name, my guess is that you are overthinking the conflict because it's so close to go time and the pressure is on.

Thanks @bluebird2318. Nobody seemed to think it was a big deal in the S12 poll I posted awhile back, so I guess I'm being paranoid. We've gotten good feedback on the names we like, so at least we won't get a bunch of side eyes. I rely on the Bump polls since we aren't telling anybody our choices IRL.

ETA: DD's FN and MN is actually an -E --> E thing but the pronunciation is such that it flows well enough not to matter.

After DS1 I couldn't orgasm for like 3 months because all my muscles were messed up or something. I couldn't even get myself off. It's like everything would build up and be ready to go, and then suddenly it was just over without the big kabang. DH got a call from his mom tonight. His dog Hersey isn't doing well and this might be her last night with us. I feel so bad. They just lost their other dog a few months ago. DH went to say good bye to her tonight and I have no idea what to say to him when he gets back. Ugh. Also, DD wanted to go to Mal Mals with Daddy to see Hersey and DH told her she could see her next time. I about cried because I know its a lie and because DD will ask about her when we go over there.

Yeah, that's my thought but DH thinks it sounds awkward. Now I think the "oh" in Owen sounds strange with SchrOHder. I think I'm just getting cold feet. I mean, I don't really say my fn and ln together all that often anyways.
