  I have not had a drop of alcohol in over a week (budget/calorie reasons) and it is not fun. I think I am shyer on the board without my nightly glass of wine. Anyways, going out to DH's restaurant tomorrow and plan on two glasses. Sorry in advance if I post anything silly tomorrow night!

  @kdc2007 I have been wanting to catch up on the Good Wife for like 2 years. I started watching it on netflix for the first season, then watched the second and third I think on tv. Then, they moved it to Sunday's and it totally messed me all up. I don't think I've seen it since. I miss Will. Yum.

  @kdc2007 Every time I see a preview for it on CBS I'm like, man I've got to catch up. When I stopped watching I think Alicia and Will had just started sleeping together. I have missed so much. And, Kalinda. Gah, I freaking love her.

  So I just got an email from our daycare that they are closing at 3pm.  By the way, they are expecting 2-4 inches of snow this afternoon - tonight but it has not even started snowing yet.  

  For the amount of money I am paying them, if I can work till 5, they surely can work till their regular time.  

  Maybe it's because I used to live in upper New York state area but I get so annoyed by people freaking out about a little bit of snow.

  This happens at our house too. I find that if she has a better night of sleep she wakes up happier. I also wonder sometimes if she is cranky because she doesn't get a chance to wake up slowly. Maybe as she's coming out a deep sleep a noise or hitting a limb on the crib wakes her up.

  There is this really fun place by me that you go and they walk you through painting. They have a particular painting set up for that day. It's so people with no artistic skill, like myself, can still make a pretty picture. You can bring snacks and wine. Paint, have fun with friends, eat, and leave with a cool picture. You can book the place for a "party", and I thought that would be fun for my birthday. But, then saw it's a minimum of 15 people. And, I realized I don't have that many friends. Unless you all wanted to come hang out with me?

  I liked this adaptation much better than the first movie but I don't know how I feel about Sally Draper as Cathy.

  Are you effing kidding me?!? I just found out that last night when LO was in the ER my mil called my mom trying to figure out who we had told first that we were at the hospital!! JFC, woman, it's not all about you!!

  @subliminalrabbit my LO does this too and then he's usually in that mood all day. When he wakes up grumpy he wants to be held all day and screams every time I put him down, change his diaper or clothes. And today is one of those days X_X

  We are doing a lot better today. He definitely has a UTI, but his fever has gone down and he's acting much more like himself. We went and saw his normal pedi who said we did everything right (which is always nice to hear.) They have him on 10 days of antibiotics and then they want to do a kidney ultrasound just to make sure everything is okay since it's not very common for baby boys to get these. However, he said seeing how well LO is growing, he thinks it is incredibly unlikely that he had anything wrong with his kidneys.

  Daycare starts tomorrow. I rejoice and weep simultaneously. Went to the mall to get his first little backpack embroidered and picked up a couple pair of shoes. I mean, why should girls have ALL the fashion fun?! Tiny Toms and tiny Top-Siders. I just can't. They are so adorable. Gahhh! Just look at'em!

  I was just saying yesterday that i want to do this. I'm just across the lake from you if I remember correctly. Unfortunately that lake is Lake Michigan.

  I'm feeling pretty not great about myself these days. An unflattering picture has made it worse today. I feel like the solution is to have a few more glasses of wine and proceed to take advantage of my husband.

  Amen. The way I see it is I won't be in this stage forever so I need to take a lot of "before" pictures now, so everyone will be impressed when I drop all the weight and Victoria's Secret comes calling
