Does anyone else leave the laundry folded in piles out so DH can see? I have been folding laundry all day and I've had the time to put it up but I won't until DH comes home and sees it in all its glory. He seems to thinks laundry just magically cleans itself this is how I remind him by pretending I just never have time to put it away :P

We had leftover defrosted milk from daycare so rather than toss it I put it in a sippy...

I am kinda OCD about everything being put away. So all day the laundry being out bothers me but its worth it haha. And having a baby with all the things has really tripped me up.

I do this all the time. DH needs to know I did something other than keep our child alive all day.

What is up with my LO?!?! Usually we have one poopy diaper a day. Well we've already had 4 today!! I told him no more poopy diapers until his daddy got home. And of course he has a diaper rash now

My LO loves Tylenol. We use the dye free cherry flavor. He loves any medicine though.

This! He even liked his rotavirus vaccine because it tasted yummy to him. Weird kid.

So apparently my FIL has been texting/calling DH today saying we should take E to a different doctor because he is very concerned and thinks she is overweight and that it is affecting her skeletal and mobile development??!!! Are you fucking kidding me? For some reason this makes me so ragey right now. Her pedi says she's fine. She is BF and weighs 20.5 lbs (27.5 in) at 7 months. Nice to know that her grandfather thinks she's abnormally fat.

Also try to strike the outside of her throat (like getting a dog to take a pill) after the medicine us in her mouth. DS had chronic ear infections and started to refuse his antibiotics after a while. We would put small amounts in and stroke his throat.

Also if you blow in their face it makes them swallow. Like just a quick puff.

We are waiting for test results. Everything takes so long! No one seems to think it is anything more serious than a uti at this point. The good news is he finally fell asleep. He'd been awake since 4 this afternoon.

Obviously not nearly as important in any way as lo's health, but I am kinda bummed that I M going to have to chuck the giant turkey breast that I was in the middle of roasting when his fever spiked. That was supposed to feed us for most of the week and be made into some baby food.

Too fast for sure, I had a dream last night that B woke up with five new teeth (including a molar). I felt bad in my dream for not giving him Tylenol to help him sleep.

Totally!  My neighbor had a baby in December, and she just returned my newborn-sized cloth diapers that she borrowed.  When I saw them today, I couldn't believe Iris had ever been tiny enough to wear them.

We're home. LO has a UTI so the gave him antibiotics via IV and are doing blood work to make sure his bladder and kidneys are okay. Poor guy was poked and jabbed a lot(shots will seem like nothing now), but he always returned to smiley once they were done. He's such a good boy. What a day.

OMG I've been keeping up with this thread and I am finally posting.  and it's about our thermometer!

love this one.  we had a temporal one but it was hard to get a reading.  Walgreen had a rebate program for it a month ago so I got it for less.
