such a big boy!! Ty is 22 lbs 12 oz but 30 inches long! (at 7 months).

It was fresh, and there was some skin on, some skin off.  I should have thought of this - I have a friend who has terrible reactions to just the skin!

When I'm feeling brave enough to try again, we'll do totally skin off.  It just also resulted in some diaper rash in addition to the face rash, so I'm wary!

@Samanthaashely93 do you live in an apartment complex? If so I would talk to the landlord and if that doesn't work I would then consider calling the police if it happens again.

DD fell asleep in her car seat while we were out. I think the only reason this is a long nap (over an hour now) is because she fell asleep with her hat over her eyes.

So Arlo has decided to launch a nap strike and work actually expected me to do work today, therefore I will never be able to keep up with this thread. I only opened it today because I had over 300 new and I couldn't handle the yellow flag! Oh and the nap strike has completely destroyed my New Years resolution of not drinking on weeknights. I'm luck if I'm not drinking before 5pm.

OMG @calikat80 I had the same resolution and last Thursday I broke down. (Hence the vodka+apple juice)

@wasnotwas was it juice box apple juice? I may consider that mommy rock bottom and I'm almost there! Only thing worse would be defrosting a pouch for a mixer and swearing it was like a frozen adult beverage. Though that may be an excellent way to sneak some veggies in me...

Hey you guuuuuiiise! Today was seriously not bad at all! I think when I had my day of breakdowns a couple weeks ago I must have gotten it all out. They were so warm and affectionate to him this morning that it made me feel so comfortable. I made a return at Target, walked around Target forever, went to the beauty supply spot, did 2 loads of laundry, ate lunch, sent a few (hopefully soon-to-be) work-related emails, got a mani pedi and went to pick him up at 2:30 because I couldn't stand it anymore. I'm proud that I didn't stalk them today asking about him. Mr. Ben on the other hand did not skip a freaking beat. He napped at his regular times for regular amounts of time, ate and drank all his goodies, made a doody diaper and they said he handled it so well overall. In fact, they asked me if he was in daycare before! Since he did so well sleeping last night, I'm really wondering how tonight will be. He crashed out at 6:30 versus our normal 7:30 so we shall see.

Overall, great day. Thanks for asking ladies. Oh! @wasnotwas Guess where we ended up? Primrose!! Holla!!

Haha no. I am madly in love with Musselman's apple juice so I got some today at the grocery store. But now that you mention it, I might grow some strawberry & apple pouches in the freezer

@melOhdy she was way overdue fora nap and I think the hat over her eyes was the perfect thing she needed to fall asleep. I heard her wake up (just moving around, not crying yet) and rushed to her because I figured she would freak out when she woke up with the hat on her eyes. By the time I got to her she happily had the hat in her hands.

Definitely! I was super impressed when I toured that this little 8.5 month old finished his cracker and signed AS WELL AS SAID, "All done!" Mind. Blown. I'm not even kidding. Of course he didn't enunciate perfectly but anyone would have understood him.

Also, the main teacher is a lady I'm thinking in her sixties that they call Nana (her name is Thana). She was loving on Ben and had him giggling in less than 60 seconds. That was awesome.

I left the tour feeling excited for Ben versus sad for the situation.
