Sorry about the glucose test @psychobutthead. That just plain sucks.
My 4 year old keeps elbowing me in the boobs when he crawls on my lap. He's done it 4-5 times today and I'm about to lose it, because they are so sore today. Good thing its almost his bedtime.
@psychobutthead I’m sorry you failed. That sucks you still have to take the 3 hour... I was curious if there was any way to get out of it if you have history of GD.
I've been pretty MIA since Wednesday, not feeling well. I've tried to keep up but just couldn't.
@psychobutthead Im so sorry you failed the test! How far along are you? I hope you're into your 2nd tri because i can't imagine having to go on a GD diet while still having all this nausea!
@gabadoo DS was less than 6.5 lbs and his head was only 20th %ile 😳 hence my worry. But yeah it does seem RCS is the way to go.
Id just like to apologize in advance for the next 7 months as I go on and on and on about VBAC vs RCS. I cant wait to actually talk to my OB and ask her all the questions. Like, can you measure my bone clearance?!
Sometimes I wonder if there are hundreds of people hanging out in the intro thread, not realizing that there's a whole board of threads to participate in. So many people intro and then we never see them again!
I am watching Dancing Queen on Netflix and it's just as fabulous as one might expect. I love it.

@zuuls_mom, congrats! I was also initially a little disappointed when I found out #2 was another boy. But, I love being a boy mom and I really think my two guys will really take care of each other as they grow. Plus, in my experience, little boys LOVE LOVE LOVE their moms! There’s seriously nothing better than my daily snuggles with them.
@psychobutthead sorry about the glucose. Fingers crossed for your 3 hour!
@zuuls_mom congrats on a baby boy! A little disappointment is totally understandable. We have a 2 boy household over here and they are just so fun!! I love watching them play and interact together. Lol dh and I are just assuming this one is also a boy because it seems like we must just trend that way. Maybe this one will be the calm one lol...
@thebobloblaw nope even with history of it shes making me. I wonder if she has to for insurance purposes to get things covered?
@expandcontract nope. Im 9 weeks. I just slid into 3 months. That's why I'm so upset. Its going to suck and a constant struggle. Wouldn't be too bad if my sugar didnt randomly drop on me. Now I'm worried about me driving and then getting a seeing spots spell.

@k2k2tog I'm sure some of them lurk and don't really know what to say to contribute. Some of them probably don't/can't keep up with all the threads too.
I was pretty much just a lurker on my first bmb, and then later on I felt pretty weird cause I felt like I knew the regular posters so well, but they barely knew me at all, so I started posting. I made a much more focused effort with A16 and here to actually chime in once in a while, because I'm definitely an introvert and speaking up does not really come naturally to me.
@zuuls_mom I understand that initial disappointment. I have two girls and I'm reeeeeeally hoping this one is a boy. I feel like I may be done after this, and I'd really like to have a son. I wasn't disappointed about DD2 being a girl because I knew we weren't done, and I was *thrilled* for my oldest to have a sister, as I never did. I almost wish I could be Team Green this time around because if it *is* a girl I feel like I'll feel the disappointment far less if there's an actual baby in my arms. But I know I can't wait to find out.....
@imrachellea I was the opposite. After DD1 we were fairly certain we would be 2 and through, regardless of the sex of #2 but I was really secretly hoping for a boy. When I found out that DD2 was a girl I was a bit let down for a bit. Not super disappointed, but almost surprised. I'm not sure why I was so sure she was a boy, but I was. This time I can't even wrap my head around the fact that this baby might be a boy, I keep thinking like it will for sure be a girl and I don't even know what I would do with a boy.
I know it’s early, but since people are already finding out what they are having, should we make a “It’s a....” thread so we don’t lose any announcements? I totally missed @zuuls_mom announcement and had to scroll back to figure out what I missed! Thoughts?
Also, congrats on the little boy! I can totally understand the disappointment, but the bond between brothers is so special!
All this talk about the bond between brothers is making me want another boy 😂 I go back and forth between thinking it would be cool to have one of each and thinking it would be could to be a boy mom. We're done after this, so I'm just preparing myself for whatever. I think there are benefits to each.
When I was pregnant with our second I really wanted DD to have a sister. So I was super excited to find out it was another girl. I had always wanted a sister. They really do love each other. It’s sweet. This time around I’m secretly hoping for another girl. I know DH wants his boy and I get it, but I don’t know anything about boys!! I know it’s silly thinking. Before having girls I didn’t know anything raising girls, haha.

@brie_and_almonds agreed. I have to sort of force myself to chime in sometimes because as a massive introvert it doesn’t come naturally also as a FTM I think it can be sort of extra intimidating because I don’t really feel like I have any sage pregnancy wisdom yet.
@beccaneu We're not always looking for advice. I think it's also the camaraderie we come here for. "I feel like shit. Oh! You feel like shit, too?! Come here girl, you're my new BFF." And plus also the distraction.
@beccaneu this is my third time through pregnancy and I still feel like I don’t have any sage pregnancy advice! And, I’d say you’ve done a good job of pushing yourself to participate - I recognize your an and we haven’t been hanging out on the boards that long yet.

@k2k2tog I was thinking the same thing. Frankly, pregnancy and babies are SO different person to person that you could be a genius with your own body and kids but give what seems like the dumbest advice to someone else because their kids and bodies are completely different and it just doesn't apply. Don't think anyone is really that great with the wisdom on these topics no matter how many kids you have.
@beccaneu I only lurked for DS’ bmb because I felt the same way. I recognize your sn though, so I’d say your doing great! I’m not a ftm, but I don’t feel like I have much sage advice either. I actually feel like this is somewhat of a refresher! So much changes in just a few years. For me, starting off in the fandoms thread and replying to others helped me get more comfortable with the group. 🙂
I don't post very much either, mostly because I always feel like I am catching up on threads and don't want to comment on something that was said like 5 days ago haha. 😀 I do try to read almost all of the threads though.
