Another question for you @stromette, what was the grade of your embryos transferred, for the twins and for this pregnancy? And also did you PGS test your embryos?

@babydust2507 the twins were 4ba and 3ab. I believe this one was 3bb.
Friends would ask about my symptoms and honestly, even if I had them to report, who's to say it's not from all the hormones I'm taking, ya know? Total mind game, I hate it.

Congrats @stromette !!! Literally brought tears to my eyes!  Going into tomorrow for day 5 transfer.  They said it’s a 50% chance.  Just seeing there is a page 6 I need to read

I had my day 4 blood today. They are upping my dose of gonal f from 150 to 225. My Estrogen was at 87 today, which rose from by baseline last Monday, but obviously they want it higher. Hopefully I see some increase when I got back for blood and ultrasound Tuesday! I also asked how many follicles I had at my baseline since no one told me, and a nurse checked for me and said I had 11 (6 on the left and 5 on the right). I'm partly relieved cause I was worried I only had a few, but I was hoping for a bit higher of a number after hearing some of you ladies had in the 20s and 30s!

@stromette thank you for sharing your info, that gives me more peace, now I feel like I didn't waste all my chance on my fresh transfer using my 4AA embryo and those ABs or BAs or BBs that I have frozen can lead to pregnancy as well on FET. And and I do agree that symptoms can also come from the med we've been on. Praying that they'll pick my lucky one on my next transfer. May I ask you how old you are too?

@knottiee829c, you can do the PIO shots! The first several times I found it best to lie down on my belly on a couch or ottoman and find something to distract me (toy, chapstick, remote, phone, etc.) then have my husband surprise me, no counting down! You got this! 
@babydust2507 I turn 30 next month. I was 27 when my embryos were made.

I just got the call! I can officially trigger tonight after 10 days of stims. Lupron tonight and Lupron tmw. my E2 was 4460 and they counted 18 on my right and 18 on my left. Sizes ranging from a couple 14, lots of 17,18s and 19s to 20 mm. 

ER is scheduled for Tuesday morning! I’m so excited!!!

Thank you babydust and strom. I have been reading forums where people get pregnant with all different kinds of graded embryos. I never had mine graded before because none ever made it to blast. Praying these morulas work!

mkr- That’s a nice amount of follicles. They grow really fast! Your E2 level will go up very quickly also.

We’re doing PGS so no fresh. A FET in October most likely. I’ve had two early losses and a chemical so we decided to test to avoid another terrible miscarriage. This is our first IVF and I’m hopeful.

I started with 33 follies at resting, 27 my first u/s after starting stims. My DH has low morph so we’re doing IMSI/ ICSI for fertilization. Hoping for some good quality eggos in there and can’t wait to stop this crazy bloating!!

I can’t wait till Wednesday for transfer, I’ve been feeling quite some pain after retrieval so spend the weekend in bed. Working Monday and Tuesday, then taking off Wednesday for the big day

I had my day 5 blood and ultrasound this morning. They measured my follicles at 7s,8s,9s, and they are typically around 10 at this point my doctor said. Though he said he wasn't worried about it and expected them to be smaller because my Estrogen was lower on Sunday and they had upped my dose because of it. But he said he suspects my level is rising due to the increase in size of my follicles now! I also had 13 counted today as opposed to the 11 counted from my baseline finally an appointment where I didn't leave feeling a little down about things. I was hoping for good news this morning cause it's my birthday! Not that I'm excited to turn another year older, just cause hubby is gone and I'm staying at an airbnb by myself...didn't want to have to be crying from bad news all night alone lol

Happy birthday, @mkr_0128! That’s great news for day 5 and on your special day. It’s always nice when the follicle count goes up. 

So I had my egg retrieval this A.M.! It was my first one and went really really well. Mainly I was so impressed with how well they took care of me. I had a lovely nurse with me the whole time. The embryologist came in after the procedure to tell me and my husband that we got 32 eggs! They gave me things to watch for with ohss because my estrogen was 5,240 yesterday. But I’m feeling good so far. I’ve been going pee regularly since I got home and am just snuggled into bed watching Netflix for the day.

How and when did you know you that you had OHSS? I’ve been drinking a lot of water all day, peeing every hour and no other symptoms besides sore abdomen. Did you have to get treatment? Thanks for sharing your experience so I know what to watch out for

I think they calculate based on 2 weeks + day# for embryo -- using a typical 28 day cycle, you'd have ovulated 14 days after your LMP and then you just add the age of the embryo they transferred onto that. So if you had a 5 day embryo , they consider the LMP as 19 days before the transfer. I think. I could be wrong!

With IVF your due date is actually accurate because it's based on date of conception. My 5 day of embryos were transferred  on the 13th so they were "conceived" August 8th. Anyway, due May 1st.
@manders85-2 I knew too late. It started with extreme abdominal pain. I could barely move enough to wipe my own butt, ha ha. I was extremely bloated - I literally(not figuratively) looked 6 months pregnant almost overnight. I was super nauseated and felt like I had perpetually eaten thanksgiving dinner. My retrieval was Monday. They called Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for embryo updates and every time I told the nurse how much pain I was in and she just shrugged it off as "well you had lots of embryos." Saturday night I told my husband I couldn't take it any more and to call the doctor. He saw me Sunday morning and told me my ovaries were so full of fluid they were the size of baseballs  (he then turned to my husband and said "imagine your balls are the size of baseballs, that's what your wife is going through right now." I love him!). He said they were so big they had shifted inside my body and pushed some other organs around, too and that my entire abdomen was Chuck full of fluid. He gave me Vicodin and zofran, and told me to rest and eat a stupid amount of salt and Gatorade. I was on the couch 10 days total.

Oh my god, @stromette, that sounds horrible! I am so so sorry you had to go through that. Thanks for sharing your symptoms with me. I may be in the clear because I woke up last and all my abdominal soreness had went away. My stomach has visibly gone down this morning so unless something changes, I should be ok. Damn though, 6 months pregnant and baseballs! OUCH! As if you hadn't gone through enough with stim drugs and a surgery.

Now we sit on pins and needles until a call on Monday to find out how many made it 5-day blastocyst for PGS testing and freezing.

Do you ladies think we should expect 50% make it? Less? Trying to keep my expectations low since we still have two big results to hear about: 5-day blast and normal PGS status. I've had two early losses so I want to have a decent number (like at least 7) to make it to blast so we have a higher likelihood of getting some normals.
