Re: FFFC
My goal once I became a SAHM was to get up no later than 8am during the week. Most days that doesn't happen. Some days I even put LO in her exersaucer and snooze on the couch. I'm right there and she wakes me up if she needs me. But in my defense, most days I'm still doing crap around the house until 8 or 9 at night, so I figure flexibility is a job perk.

We get up 3 times a night and nurse for ten minutes and LO goes right back to sleep. I cherish that time because I'm gone so long at work during the week and I'm functioning just fine with the wake ups. It works for US. I hate comparisons to other babies, because my LO is her own person and what works for others might not work for us (and why change it if there is no issue). Comments like, "when are you going to give solids? That's when I started STTN" make me stabby. Our parenting decisions are ours alone and we don't need to justify them to anyone.
Ugh, sorry that FFFC had a bit of Monday bit*h included!
What does FFC stand for? sorry new to the boards ands till trying to figure everything out!!
Happy Friday!
Instead, we are going to my favorite German town here in Texas with my parents and sister for a weekend! We are getting a house to stay in and will probably do a wine tour! I'm much more excited about that than having a party!!

I need to be up doing some stuff around the house while LO naps, but instead I'm bumping, FB'ing and watching Saved By The Bell.
In the meantime, after I ate, I got really nauseous had started having poop cramps. I went to the bathroom, but it was so crowded. I couldn't go. We went to get ice cream in the same plaza and I ran to a bathroom where I knew no one would be to go.
Tonight was a disaster.
Grandparents day is NOT happening here either. (Birthday, anniversary, ...death. Those are the days that get recognition)
My FFFC: I have lost track of what day it is so many times in the last couple weeks.
I use The Bump to keep the days of the week straight. But every now and then I don't get on here and lose track of what's new.
It doesn't help when we have quiet days.
My FFFC is I have been practicing my accent because I can't go back home with a southern accent.
Eta: I should clarify that now I dance like a white mom of two. My skills are gone.
MIL keeps buying LO clothes that are too small. She acts surprised when I tell her that the 3 month outfit she bought won't fit. (He's currently wear 9 & 12 month stuff)
She then proceeds to tell me she can't be bothered to return it (usually bought on clearance but with tags still on and most stores would take it back within the week).
I'm putting it all in a yard sale or selling at a consignment store.
I'm crazy though. I've seen cute 3T and 4T outfits on clearance for wicked cheap, and I've bought them and put them away.
I'm sad because my mil hasn't bought DS one thing since he was born. Not one thing. I know it's not all about buying stuff, but come on!
I don't think I'll have a problem for winter clothes...but next summer might be a problem. (Gotta wait to see how much they both grow)
Also, I buy ahead in the clearance section. Shorts for $1.50-$3, shirts and sweaters $1-$5. I've got an assortment of 3T, 4T for DS1. He's tall and thin. LO gets the hand me downs. Until they start wearing the same size...lol.
