@hopefulmom I heard this morning that 4 of the 7 were able to go ahead with ICSI. The nurse told me that implantation would not be until my next cycle, because I'm doing PGD. This differs to what other nurses had told me, so I guess I will just wait until my call on sat to get more info

I feel the same @Hopeful_mom! I'm starting to get nervous, and I'm not really feeling any different. I kind of hate the second week of the TWW. I always feel like by then the excitement has kind of warn off and the worry starts to set in. I am really dying to test soon, but at the same time I don't want to because I'm afraid of it being negative. Feeling anxious but trying to stay positive

Howdy ladies, I hope everyone has had a great Thanksgiving. I am on day 7 of stims but won't take todays stims until 9pm (menopur and gonal f). I had my b/w and u/s this morning and my estrogen level was over 900, and i have 19 follicles (7 are over 10mm). They had me start cetrotide right away since my E2 is so high, but with that being said, will that hinder the growth of my smaller follicles? I am scared that they will not grow enough before my ER. I couldn't find the right moment to ask the nurse, because the doc office was a zoo today-there were only 2 nurses running the show and they were stressed. Also, do you think 19 follicles is a good number for this stage of stims?

@Winnie81 I think 19 is fantastic. Every woman is different in how many eggs she has and every cycle is different. Also, the cetrotide will prevent premature ovulation. I don't necessarily think it prevents the smaller ones from growing. When I started Ganirelix last cycle, I had 7 follicles and then had 10 retrieved. Good luck!

@natalie4oscar definitely normal! I agree that the worst part is having to pee. Having to go that badly while someone is pressing all over your abdomen for the U/S is pretty tough. Good luck!
@Winnie81 I think 19 is great! I don't know what average is, but 19 is definitely more than what I had.
AFM I feel SO bloated from all these PIO shots. I mean, my pants are so tight its starting to be uncomfortable. Anyone else feeling like this? My belly is so full and tight. I'll eat something and get full so quickly because I feel like there is no space with all this bloat lol. Not quite as bad as right after ER, but really pretty noticeable. And I'm starting to get knots on my bum from them. There are only so many spots before you start repeating areas. At least I *finally* go for beta on Monday. At this point I've taken 4 tests just to keep confirming the result. Anyone else break down and test?! Its a big week for a lot of ladies on here!

@adoc86 hey ur giving me some hope as i'm feeling quite bloated myself, way more then before and i seem to get full so fast, i'm sure i'm just eating more and dont realze it I almost broke down and tested today but i'm a lil nervous. My beta is 11/29 and i almost want to keep the hope alive till at least then!! My boobs r killing me i'll tell ya that much! I think i'm luck luck as i'm taking the gel so at least thats a lil bonus for me, i hope!

natalie4oscar YAY for transfer on Monday! Being nervous is normal, just don’t over do the drinking and it’ll go smooth. From my experience the part of being nervous doesn’t stop there but I hope you will have as smooth and easy TWW as possible. Looking forward to your updates xx
@Winnie81 19 is a great number!! From my experience (though I max I've so far had was 6) cetrotide does not seem to affect the growth as I also started it on the 7th day of sims with both IVFs and they continued to grow till the ER. Fingers X’d for another great update, thinking of you!
AFM this waiting is daunting... I'm too scared of BFN to test. I’ve been having vivid dreams for about a week now. It’s strange and not something that happened during my previous TWWs.
Anyone else having vivid dreams? Can it have something to do with the hormones?

@Adoc86 and @IfYouCanDreamIt the PIO shots have me super bloated too, with very little movement happening (sorry TMI). I feel similar to how you described, I think I'm hungry but I feel as though I can't fit much in and yes, crazy vivid dreams, not to mention the super sore boobs. I'm wearing a sports bra to bed for additional support.... so sexy ha

Thank you guys so much for your support @adoc86@hopeful_mom@natalie4oscar@ifyoucandreamit !! I am still waiting on this mornings blood work, but my follicle scan showed that I have 18 follicles above 10mm, and 11 under 10mm. They said it is looking great as well, and my ER should be between Thursday and Saturday. I think it may be a common side effect, but my cetrotide inejection is causing hives on my stomach, so the nurse has me taking benadryl 30 minutes before the injection to see if that helps. I feel like I can relax a little bit again. I kept dreaming that I ovulated yesterday and everything was ruined, so now I'm going to go drink some egg nog and watch the hallmark channel
ETA: The nurse mentioned that I have PCOS tendencies...? She said that could be contributing to the larger number of follicles.
How has everyones weekend been? Any good Black Friday finds? I'm still looking for a beginner sewing machine for a good price.

@natalie4oscar sorry for the delayed response hadnt gotten on here during the holiday. Lupron... man i see such a difference in my temperament. Short fuse, frustrated easily, hungry lol definitely different then the other meds ive been on. Started gonal f 3 days ago a bit higher of a dose than last round.

Winnie81 sounds like you will have a good selection of eggs! Sorry to hear about the side effects, hope the benadryl will help and do by all means try to relax that sounds like a good plan! Is it the fist time they tell you about PCOS tendencies?
Positive vibes to all you ladies whether you are on stims, going in for ER, waiting for updates, getting ready for ET or waiting for beta, IVF is a rollercoaster and I truly hope we all get off it with big smile on our face
I'm at Day 5 and was scheduled for my transfer today, however I just got a call saying that the embryo are only developed at a day 4 level and if we want to do the PGD they recommend waiting 24 hours and 'hoping' all survive and develop ready for transfer.
The other option was to implant two today without PGD and again hope
This whole process is based on hope, it is so hard not knowing what the next steps should be, but based on their guidance we will wait another 24 hours

@IfYouCanDreamIt Thank you for the positive vibes! The benadryl helped a little with the hives. Last night the hives popped up within 2 minutes, but didn't last as long (or maybe i just passed out from the benadryl and don't remember ). It has never been suggested that I have PCOS in the past. My AMH was 6.25. I think I will ask the doctor tomorrow during my next scan.
@Isthisthereallife Welcome aboard and FX for tomorrows follicle scan! I don't think a lot of activity was going on for my first follicle scan, but they said that was normal. Regardless, it helped calm my nerves to get it over with!
@natalie4oscar i'm sorry they pushed your transfer, that has to be so frustrating and stressful. My fingers are crossed for you that the next 24 hours turn around.

@Winnie81 I think 19 is great! I don't know what average is, but 19 is definitely more than what I had.
AFM I feel SO bloated from all these PIO shots. I mean, my pants are so tight its starting to be uncomfortable. Anyone else feeling like this? My belly is so full and tight. I'll eat something and get full so quickly because I feel like there is no space with all this bloat lol. Not quite as bad as right after ER, but really pretty noticeable. And I'm starting to get knots on my bum from them. There are only so many spots before you start repeating areas. At least I *finally* go for beta on Monday. At this point I've taken 4 tests just to keep confirming the result. Anyone else break down and test?! Its a big week for a lot of ladies on here!

natalie4oscar YAY for transfer on Monday! Being nervous is normal, just don’t over do the drinking and it’ll go smooth. From my experience the part of being nervous doesn’t stop there but I hope you will have as smooth and easy TWW as possible. Looking forward to your updates xx
@Winnie81 19 is a great number!! From my experience (though I max I've so far had was 6) cetrotide does not seem to affect the growth as I also started it on the 7th day of sims with both IVFs and they continued to grow till the ER. Fingers X’d for another great update, thinking of you!
AFM this waiting is daunting... I'm too scared of BFN to test. I’ve been having vivid dreams for about a week now. It’s strange and not something that happened during my previous TWWs.
Anyone else having vivid dreams? Can it have something to do with the hormones?

December 2016: Retrieved 13 eggs, 12 mature, 9 fertilized with ICSI. 5 day ET of 2 blasts with 4 frosites left. BFP!!!! EDD: 8/30/2017
August 25, 2017: It's a Girl!!
April 12, 2019: FET, BFP!!! Baby BOY EDD: 12/29/2019

@Isthisthereallife Welcome aboard and FX for tomorrows follicle scan! I don't think a lot of activity was going on for my first follicle scan, but they said that was normal. Regardless, it helped calm my nerves to get it over with!
@natalie4oscar i'm sorry they pushed your transfer, that has to be so frustrating and stressful. My fingers are crossed for you that the next 24 hours turn around.

AFM I had my beta this morning and just got the call - 3030! Today is 16dp5dt and the doctor was happy with that number. Going back on Wednesday to check again to make sure it's still increasing. Eeek!

DH: Diagnosed with Testicular Cancer in 12/15 resulting in right orchiectomy &one round of BEP chemo. Banked sperm prior to treatment. Not enough in storage to risk on IUI so encouraged to go right to IVF w/ICSI.
Together since 2001. Married 10/2013
10/24/16 - Began stims (menopur & gonal f) for 1st round of IVF on high responder antagonist protocol.
11/5/16 - Lupron trigger.
11/7/16 - 13 eggs retrieved; 8 mature; 5 fertilized
11/12/16 - 5 day ET of 1 hatching embryo
Beta scheduled for 11/28!

3/2016: RE suggested donor eggs- taking an ivf break and to supplement
9/2016: 3rd ivf cycle-cancelled due to early ovulation
Oct./Nov 2016: 4th ivf cycle- EPP-AFC:5, retrieved 10, 10 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 6 blastocysts biopsied and frozen. 3 CCS normal embryos
1/18/17: beta #1-104
1/20/17: beta #2-174
2/2/17: first u/s, heartbeat of 107 at 6w1d
7/20/17: baby boy born at 30+3 via emergency c-section

@spring512 you are some bargain hunter good for you! I couldve used you today! I didn't feel like i was finding what i need. I actually need sneakers, i have to try on like 100 pairs to find one so stores hate me...i'm not difficult but my feet certainly are!! Very important to have comfy shoes!! SO i ordered a bunch and hoping i at least find one...yes returning them wont be fun. Amazing you have it all set, how perfect and exciting it is! Hoping both stick for you and they play nice in there! when is your FET?

@winnie81 OH MY!! Hope you're feeling better!! I feel for you! My tummy got super red and irritated after and i thought that was frustrating!! You must've freaked! Hope you're finding some relief!!

AFM i'm certainly feeling anxious, nervous and exciting...I hate that i'm preparing myself for the worst, and hoping for the best. This is just such a hard road for too many! I hate that so many have to struggle with this!!

IVF#4 March 2017 //EPP (10 ER (1 wonky so 9 ER) 7F, 3B (5AB, (2)5BB) PGS tested- ALL abnormal
IVF#5 April 2017 // EPP (7 ER, 7F yes! 6B) 2/5 day 4/6 day - 2 PGS normal! yes!!
IVF#6 May 2017 // Antagonist didn't have time for Estrogen Priming...(4 ER, 3 F, 3B) (5AB, (2) 5BB) 2 PGS normal, yes!!
IVF#7 June 2017 // EPP praying this is it and then on to an FET!
