@annabenanna I am all for buying used but I found that leggings can really stretch out. Like my Ingrid and Isabel pregnancy leggings I couldn't wear for long PP because my belly had stretched them out and I had to wait til I had more of a belly with this pregnancy to wear them comfortably. Granted these are PP leggings but I feel like you don't know if they wore them during pregnancy or how they were after pregnancy. But just my thoughts!

Girl you're absolutely right! I didn't even think about the stretch factor.
@NoraAurora ... I've found that quality is my best friend when it comes to workout pants/leggings. If they're good quality and the right size, you SHOULDN'T see through them. This coming from a girl with a huge butt. Seriously... It's big. I really like the LulaRoe leggings I have. I don't have issues with them showing through.
@bnsmith85 I really want some LulaRoe leggings but have no idea where/how to buy them. And how is sizing once I do find someone/somewhere?
I bought through a coworker's party and the girl that sells it has a FB page where she sells all her stuff by posting pics of her inventory and then people reply saying "sold"... then she sends an invoice and ships to you. You'd want the one size leggings. They go from like zero to size 12 and, trust me, they'll fit you. I really like mine and she hasn't contacted me or been pushy at all since the online party my coworker hosted. The girl that sells the stuff is also really responsive with questions. Let me know if you want me to send you an invite to her page.
@copperboom86 we haven't had that situation, but I've had a ton of random people tell me they're coming to visit at the hospital or once we get home. Uh, no you're not....

This. People just want to come by after. Ok I'll let you know when you can come by....in a month. Haha

@bnsmith85 and @sjo_thetwins I've been wearing LuLaRoe leggings throughout my pregnancy and they're amazing! Very comfy, not see-through. There are tons of consultants on Facebook, just browse the size charts and lose track if your credit card.
Ugh... I'm so stressed out! After some initial issues with set up, that the support people were super helpful with, we got our breathing monitor set up and "working." But then I decided I wanted to test it to see what the alarm sounds like and how long it takes to get to my phone once breathing isn't detected. Well, it somehow was detecting breathing.... On my carpet. So I email the support people and they responded pretty quickly and basically said there's no test mechanism on the app or device, that it needs to be on a baby to be tested... That they're working to get a test in place, but nothing is available right now.... The rep that emailed back also said they've done extensive testing themselves to make sure it's top quality blah blah blah.... Ummmm... How did you test it yourself if I can't test? You didn't go around stopping babies from breathing to make sure the alarm works! Ugh... So I asked that and I'm awaiting a response... But now this piece of technology that was COMPLETELY putting my mind at ease isn't doing that anymore and I'm so stressed that something is going to happen to my baby while I sleep. Why can't I just be a freakin' normal person who doesn't get stressed the eff out over shit like this?! Ugh
CopperBoom86 Kind of the opposite for me. I have been going to see family and friends before baby comes. I figure if I go see them now, they will be good for a while and come see baby when she is a few weeks old. I have had people ask if I am taking visitors at the hospital, and I am not. I like getting out of the house, so I don't mind going for a visit. My friends live in the country so it's a nice hour and a half drive for me and can enjoy the autumn scenery. I have already cooked, cleaned and set up baby's room. There is nothing more to do.
yeah i'm with @spaceburger on this, it doesn't make the babies less cute but i can't gef behind their moms fishing for compliments and love tits at birth
I just don't understand why on earth you would ever want a bunch of total strangers to see a photo of your newborn and hear all about your birth story. Not only is it a very personal thing, but like... you know that no one gives a sh*t, right?

So much this. Go post it on FB people. You'll get plenty of likes and comments there from people who are emotionally invested. We're just....not. You know?
I love reading birth stories. I have since I was pregnant with DD1, so I don't mind the drive by birth announcements. I'm also relieved when I see an unknown name and it's actually a baby post and not a random comment.
Also, TGI effin F. I've finally started nesting and going to work instead of organizing my entire house just does not sound appealing.
Today is my last day of work - period. I'm going to be a SAHM for at least the 1st year with the girls. Nervous but excited and ready to start this journey! Now if only I could stay awake for the next week waiting on them, I feel like I have been hit by a bus and I have never seen my feet so swollen. Happy Friday, y'all!
I don't mind loving a random stranger... but it IRRITATES me when you have declared you're jumping ship to September boards (like way back months ago) and stop participating here, but still post your birth announcement here. Go do it over at your "new hangout".

Anybody familiar with the Green Smoothie thing? FI recently jumped on that band wagon, so I just ordered him a really nice blender and a recipe book off of Amazon. What's the hype?

I love them! I think it's just a really yummy way to get a lot of nutrients and vitamins in your diet. Especially if you aren't a big veggie eater, it's easy to disguise them in a smoothie where all you taste is fruit. I like to throw some protein powder in too!
