I feel like everyone is in the 2ww but me  so I will ask this here. 

Does anyone ovulate and NOT get O-cramps or mid cycle cramping?  That is usually my biggest indicator but, I wonder if it doesn't always happen. I swear I'm not a total newb but, jeeze 4 months goes by where I  don't obsess...er think.. of this stuff and suddenly I feel like the village idiot all over again

@iceandsnowflakes29 lol at the village idiot, i often feel that way! I don't usually get O pains/symptoms. My only indicator is ewcm.

@iceandsnowflakes29 I didn't really get O-cramps until I started doing medicated cycles.  I probably did on occasion, but nowhere near as intense as my medicated cycles.

@BrightenMySky for years I was convinced I had cysts or kidney stones because I would get intense stabbing pain. It was only when I did Clomid IUIS that I realized all that time it was ovulation. Since then, I've used the pain as a confirmation that ovulation occurred along with other signs and sometimes charting. 

Anyways, so I'm over here freaking out because I have all the bells and whistles of ovulation but no stabbing pain yet. So we'll see.

@iceandsnowflakes29 I *think* I get O-cramps but honestly, I think it's 100% in my head.  this process makes me a bit loopy.

@Wishilivedinflorida This new cycle I am going to start temping for the first time in conjunction with Wondfos (also new to those). I was going to add in digital OPKs too but I've done those in the past. I'm going to compare just Wondfos first and see if those are sufficient. The upside I see with those is being able to test twice a day to detect a surge. Downside will be how well it detects my LH and whether my lines will darken. Yay to new adventures! 

@BornReady I have not heard of that book and now want to scope it out! I've perused books about adoption in the self-help section but never sure which ones would be beneficial or intriguing. Thank you for the recommendation I didn't realize I was looking for!  

@iceandsnowflakes29 I am sometimes confident I got O pains, but honestly... I sometimes wonder if my mid-cycle aches are attributed more to the amount of BD we're having and my cervix is just complaining!! I'll gladly take the village idiot crown now

So I'm super emotional today - still some cramping but very light and could be indigestion. But emotions - holy crap on a cracker - watched part of a convocation ceremony today and nearly started crying over people I don't know... Yep, definitely SS today

Can I wear the village idiot crown for a second? I just realized I've been waking up and taking Tylenol in the night this week for my neck pain and never ending headache, hence my temps are probably all garbage. And I'm a medical professional. Dear Lord. 

ETA: I almost uniformly get O pains but have never temped during the few cycles I did not have them, so it makes me wonder if O occurred during those cycles or not. I've been off BC for a few years and just always assumed that was what standard O felt like. I was on the pill since age 16 and thus hadn't been ovulating for a decade prior to that.

@iceandsnowflakes29 I have never had O pain (at least not that is noticeable enough for me to identify as such). If I wasn't temping I would have no clue because I don't have egg white CM and I rarely have positive OPKS...but I'm obviously Oing every month, I'm just weird. OB didn't really seem concerned- she said some people just don't have EWCM and have really short LH surges.

@Spartanrd4 it's interesting your Dr said some people have really short LH surges. I started OPK this month and never got a positive but I know I ovulated from temping, ewcm, and I had my progesterone checked this week and it was 15. maybe I have a short LH surge window...who knew!? Seriously, I learn something new everyday around here.

@iceandsnowflakes29 Some cycles I get really intense O pain and there have been others where barely anything at all. It's all so strange. 

@dubcompanion and @roper2617 I am sorry you are both out and my fingers are crossed for you both in the next cycle.

@Brightenmysky question for you, did you do acupuncture this cycle/ are you still doing acupuncture

This seems to have been the longest TWW ever. I believe there are a few of us testing tomorrow- I hope we get some BFPs rolling in. 13 dpiui here and not much to report except the occasional cramp- so I just don't know at this point.

@wishilivedinflorida- I'm sure we can all take a turn with the village idiot crown

there are so many of us testing tomorrow, I'm interested to see how many DPO everyone will be.

I plan to test tomorrow, 10 DPO. how about everyone else?

@roxgibbons I have still been doing acupuncture.  I did 1 treatment while on Clomid and 1 treatment immediately prior to IUI this cycle.  I usually also do 1 treatment 3-5 dpIUI, but I was out of town during that period this cycle, and my acupuncturist said the counts looked good enough that she didn't think it would add anything.  Happy to talk more about it if helpful.  

I am testing tomorrow (fx AF stays away) w/beta blood test at my RE's.  If I make it, I'll be 16 dpIUI and 17 days post-trigger shot.  Last night I almost lost it and asked DH "I probably shouldn't POAS tonight, right," but still holding out as of now.

@BrightenMySky thanks for the reply. This is my first IUI in conjunction with acupuncture. I did a treatment while taking letrozole, one day of IUI and one around 5 or 6 days dpiui. I was just curious as I know you were doing acupuncture and medicated cycles. I think it's been helpful, with keeping me nice and calm for the most part. 

ETA: I am excited for you being 15 dpiui today!! Seems promising

If I had a test at home I'd test in a heartbeat - well that and I'm at work and DH will want to be there when I test. He even wanted to be there when I bought the test with our last BFP... maybe I can convince him on the way home or when we're out getting glasses tomorrow (which means Saturday testing).

I'm nervous though because I've had mild cramps all morning...

@catiecatp I'm in a similar situation to you. I was layed off from the company I was at for 5 years last month and now starting a new job next week. As much as I desperately want to be pregnant I keep rationalizing that if it doesn't happen this month it won't be the worst thing with starting a new job.

I hate that you don't qualify for maternity leave till you've been at a company for a year! At least my health benefits will start Monday. We've been trying for 2 years with 1 MC and I just can't in my soul take a few months off for better timing. Sucks

Im 9dpo today. Broke down this am and took a ffr test with a bfn. I have no will power. At least I can have some mimosas at my nephews' kindergarten graduation party today. I'm going to need it being around all these kids my body doesn't want me to have

@roxgibbons I did acupunture with all but my first IUI, and then some first tri and post-loss treatments.  I agree that it helps with keeping calm.  Plus I just feel like I have someone else in my corner, you know?

@roxgibbons and @BrightenMySky I am not doing IUI, but I am currently doing acupuncture. I had a session on Tuesday and O'ed on Wednesday. I agree- it's nice having someone in your corner. I am going to keep going as long as I can afford it. She suggested I remain with her through my first trimester, once I get a BFP.

@brooklyngirl18 My OB herself said OPKS never really worked for her and she has 3 children. The month I got pregnant I never had a peak reading on my OPK either- just high fertility. Clearly I ovulated so I must of missed my window somehow. This month I'm going to try testing more often to see if I catch it- but basically if I start getting high fertility I know to BD and see what happens.

If this IUI does not take I think we will do three more and I will continue with acupuncture. Might as well do everything I can.

@Spartanrd4 thank you for calming my BSC. I was terrified that no ovulation cramps = no ovulation at all and I see now that is not the case. 

I did have enough egg white CM yesterday to put a small fire out with. Actually, one of the best cycles CM -wise to date. And my CP ligns up. So HOPEFULLY I will be in the 2ww soon and I can start the pineapple core. Might as well throw that in there. 

And timing is perfect so far. 

I get SO BORED WTO. At least I have the whole Am I pregnant saga to keep me occupied during the tww. However, I'm sure I will be singing a different tune in a few days.

@BrightenMySky omg your patience! !! Can I borrow some ? Lol! You deserve an award for the self restraint. You should run some sort of Pee stick anonymous support group for us addicts. Share your secret! For my blighted ovum I started testing at 7 dpo!  That is certifiably  (is that a word?) insane. 

Seriously how are you even functional right now? my brain would be itching.

@iceandsnowflakes29 thanks I am barely functional, though.  I have work to do, but it's nothing with an immediate deadline and it's drafting stuff by myself for the most part (I'm a lawyer)--kind of wish I had meetings all afternoon or some kind of fire drill to make this day go by.  I will say part of why I don't test super early is that the trigger shot that is part of my IUI protocol will give a false positive and I don't "test out the trigger" because that feels like it's just inviting the crazies way too early, so I'm just so scared of a false + or of getting a BFN on a pee stick and trying to stay upbeat that it was false.

@iceandsnowflakes29 When I'm off the bench, I will join POASA (peeing on a stick anonymous) with you! I should be a founding member. I'm benched for 2-3 months and I'm peeing on OPKs just for shits and giggles these days.

@catiecatp Every time I read your posts I want to scream "Hurry up and pee on a stick already!!!!!"  Light cramping is very normal during early pregnancy. Can I just be the first to say we are going to miss you and your interesting segues that you lead this group down?? I'm so excited for you and your new job, but sad you have to learn the US health care system and parental leave. Canada is so far ahead of the US in so many ways!!! Anyway, I hate to jinx you by calling it, but things sound VERY promising to me!

FX For some more BFPs this week!! I feel them coming!

@chloe97 it got so bad I labeled my tests with the dates I was allowed to take them on and made DH lock them in the tool box. I got one a day.

This is all me. I will POAS Monday morning before the beta test, but not until then. Which reminds me...

I have a question. Didn't someone say the CB tests (not digital) are unreliable? DH bought me some HPTs as part of my birthday present (yup, he's a keeper) and I have been wondering if I should use those or not.

I also have another question. Kinda gross, sorry.

I am having mild-ish symptoms of a UTI. I have not had one in years and years, but there is a slight burning sensation and a frequency issue. It's not full-on awful yet. I had these symptoms a couple of days ago and then it went away. My question is could it possibly be from putting my progesterone suppositories in? Say, if I wasn't thinking and didn't wash my hands first? I don't have an applicator, they come from a compounding pharmacy. I am embarrassed to even bring this up, but if it's not that, then should I be concerned?

@fivetimesnoluck I've never had an issue with CB non digital. 

Don't buy FRER with the curved handle. They are AWFUL. I can usually find the flat old style in a digital combo pack but, not alone. 

The walmart 88 cent tests showed better lines for me last time than the FRER but the FRER showed up sooner. 

My FAVORITE is the flat FRER. 

My second favorite is the walmart 88 cent kind.

And my favorite digital is the CB. I don't like the first response digital because if I'm going to pay for a digital I want it to say "pregnant" not just "yes". 

I know that is insane logic but, whatever. 

I got seriously made fun of when I admitted this on TTGP but, I kind of want to try the first response Bluetooth one   

Eta no advice on the uti except ouch! Hope it clears up

not sure if you ladies have any experience with 'fact plus'. my dr recommended it and said it's the closest to what they have at the office. I have a bunch of cheapies but I was thinking of going to find fact plus, I don't recall ever seeing it before.
