@Schmooie730 Drink PLENTY of fluids and keep food with you from now on if you already don't. Not saying it's similar, but the same thing happened to me on Monday and it was scary! If you feel lightheaded again, lay down on your side for a while! Hope you feel better!
@randypluskate you just had me trying an experiment in my office to see if I could get my head between my knees. Thinking no one witnessed my utter failure! (Hopefully) highly entertained over here though.
Thanks ladies. My boss sent me home and I'm currently laying in bed. I have my water and some snacks with me and I'm going to try and take a small nap. Hopefully that's all I need.
My wedding ring didn't fit yesterday. It fits today but I'm worried about it getting to be too tight so I'm wearing it around my neck. I know this is normal but I was hoping it would fit until the end!
First tri constipation is back. I just want to poop.
Seriously! I have an OB appointment in the morning, and I know I am going to get yelled at because of weight gain, but it is really because I haven't popped in a few days.
Back to the insane pain in my glutes and pelvis no amount of stretching or baths seems to help... I will be talking to my dr at 7:30am about this because not sleeping and the pain is taking a serious toll on my mental health!
I am the opposite of constipation right now Everytime I go to the bathroom, the cramps hurt like contractions (but I don't think they are) and my sciatica nerve hurts so much it is hard to stand or sit afterwards. Laying on my side is the only comfortable thing to do. I am also calling my doctor as soon as the office opens. DH stayed home the last 2 days to take care of DD, but he has to go in to work today.
My fingers are so puffy and sore at night that it hurts to bend them. I finally took off my rings and put them in my jewelry box until after Samantha arrives.
I cannot breath today. I had this issue a few weeks ago but I guess the baby moved down some. Today it's back and I'm miserable. Can I go back to bed please?!

@BecauseBabyIamAPug get on the dates train. Since I started eating those bad boys I have awesome poops for the first time in my life.
^wss. And I'm only eating 2 a day, not the recommended 6 that helps to shorten labor. Definitely start small and work your way up to make sure you don't have the opposite problem & poop your pants!
@bunkie999@Mbondi0 I thought I was the only one! I wake up every morning and my finger joints are SO SORE. They get a little better throughout the day but it doesn't completely go away.
I am on break from iron supplements because the digestive issues were out of control and I couldn't eat a healthy diet anymore... It has helped! My anemia was not concerning though so my doc thought it was ok for me to do that, might not always be an option. I might take some iron once in a while still. Mmm need to go buy some dates that's a good idea.
@Serpica My iron levels have been really low too so I started taking an iron supplement at instruction of my doc. I found this Iron supplement on Amazon - I found medical journal articles that show that the type of iron it contains (IRON BISGLYCINATE) is as effective if not more than other types of iron supplements and it's also much easier on the digestive system. I've been taking them for about a week and so far so good. Of course -- please don't take my word for it, but if you're interested, see what you doc thinks about them:
Glad I'm not the only one with sore finger joints! That and the sore feet and exhaustion are kicking my ass this week. And holy hot flashes! I sleep naked with a fan on me and I still wake up drenched in sweat.
My feet/ankles are already super swollen and it's barely after 12:30....I have no idea how I'm going to make it at the office until 4. I also can barely fit into any of my shoes. I don't really want to buy shoes that I only need for 2 months. lame.
I've been hot all day, no matter what. I even turned the air down to like 65 (which normally freezes me out) and I'm still barely comfortable. After being hot and sweaty all day I need to go home and take a cold shower. ick.
@samantha1206 I think our skin is definitely more sensitive to temperature changes. Mine is when I'm showering, it seems every time I get in the shower I'm turning the dial down a little bit more because it's to hot on my skin. Cold showers soon I think. Hate them.
I'm on this weird body temperature train. At night I'm usually pretty hot and the other night I was, like usual, hot and I turned over and started violently shivering I was so cold. It was the weirdest thing.
I've been sleeping awesome all week for a change - And I think I just figured out why. The past few weeks I've been tossing and turning all night, with sore muscles up and down my back. This past Saturday, my brother-in-law & his fiance paid for me to have a prenatal massage as their baby shower gift. I'm now convinced that it loosened a lot of the tension in my back and it's because of that that I've been sleeping so much better all week.
All that to say - if you have pain in your body and are able to get a prenatal massage - DO IT!
Totally noticed weird temperature changes this week too! Glad I'm not the only one! I've always been cold so it's been really strange to be over hot so often!
@kellz14 I have one booked in an hour and 45 mins, and it's the only thing that got me through the day. I've had super intense back pain and cramping all day and I'm trying to talk myself down from calling the hospital.
@jennyleigh16 Awesome, hope you enjoy and it provides relief!! P.S. are they labor-like cramps? If so have you considered calling your OB/nurses' line?
I'm having this terrible sensation that feels like baby is burrowing down but right into my hip bone? If that makes sense. All night last night I kept having to push him to get out of that corner and then I would wake up nearly screaming because he found his way back! WHY???
@kellz14 As a FTM I'm not really sure? I'm hoping the massage rules that out a bit. TMI but the last time MH and I had sex I got the same cramping, just not so intense, and we did this morning so I'm attributing the extra pain to being a bit farther along and achy to begin with. The pain lasted about 4 hours and then faded a ton so I'm playing it by ear. My dr never mentioned being on pelvic rest and my cervix looked good as of about a month ago so I dunno. At 35 weeks I'm hesitant to get ahead of myself, though if the massage doesn't help or it flares up again I'm making the phone call.
@Schmooie730 Same here! I'll pee right before bed and by the time I walk down the hall I feel like I have to go again. Makes going to bed a long process.
I'm back to the point of not sleeping due to the sciatica pain... I stretch and stretch then walk, then use the tennis has ball try to use accetomenaphine but nothing helps but half way through the night usually my body gives up and the muscles ease and I can fall asleep but I'm just getting so depressed from lack of sleep and frustration.
My biggest fear is that it won't ease after the baby is born is it was present but not to this extreme before.
@Backbypopulardemand - sorry it is this bad. Have you tried prenatal yoga or Epsom salt baths? I am having trouble standing in the shower (among other things) due to sciatica pain, but the baths help me some. I also usually feel much better after yoga. My yoga instructor is aware of the pain and has some great stretches for it.
Also, all my sciatica pain went away after DD was born. I hope yours does too!

I think so too. Normally I am freezing all the time! But showering doesn't count. for some reason, I still take them as hot as they will go!

The period cramps keep happening each day here and nausea is back with a vengeance.
