I swear to you, I am going to wear my vulva out from peeing/wiping before I can even get to giving birth. My vagina is going to hate me so much that she'll vaganus just to spite me.
I feel like a walking pharmacy every night gas drops, acid reflux pill, accetomenaphine for muscle pain, unisom for the nausea that's now back and sleep and my prenatal. Sheesh ready for pregnancy to be over so I can go back to just brushing my teeth before bed and that's it
Sciatica pain. Dealing with it the best I can (chiropractor, yoga, wearing a supporter wrap) but my hour long commute each way to work totally kills my back. Only 33 more days of work.

Have you tried stretching before and after your drive? Nothing crazy, maybe 5 minutes worth. I work on my feet and I noticed that stretching my ham string muscles before and after has made a huge difference in my sciatic pain.
I hate that I feel like I have to pee all the time. Like, all the time. And even when I go, it's not much, so I'm making more trips than I was first tri!
Every time I roll over in bed my hips and back hurt! Every time I get up from my desk my pelvic bone hurts and I walk like an old lady for a few mins. So over it ... ready for July!!
I finally understand that "kicked in the crotch feeling" that you all were talking about. My inner thighs feel bruised, right where they meet at my crotch. As if I've been horseback riding for hours, or overusing that weird inner thigh weight machine at the gym. It's been this way for a week now, and it hurts to stand up out of a chair, get out of a car, or roll over in bed.
What is the most effective way to treat this pain? I've just been sucking it up, but I can't do that for another 10 weeks!
@PleaseSendPicklesNow butterfly stretches helps me out, the kind where you sit on the floor then bring your heels in towards your crotch and lightly press your knees to the floor. If they makes sense. The widening of the hips stretches.

I do some when I get to work, but some yoga when I get home and get my daughter settled. I really wish I had the time to stop and go through my entire yoga routine several times a day. I called out one day last week and was able to do it several times, and I felt great at the end of the day. It helps that I bought a new car in February that has lumbar support. I really start to feel the pain about 1/2 through my drive, and would love to stop then and stretch, but I don't want to make my commute any longer than it is right now (and I'm usually only getting to work with a few minutes to spare right now!).
Dizziness and weakness. I have complained to my OB about this a few times, and she always says it's normal. It's hard to do regular things without having to sit down. Going up the stairs makes my heart race. I dun like it. I HAVE THINGS TO DO.
Woohoo I have passed my GD test! But, I am now officially anemic Adding iron supplements to my already constipated self is not going to be good.
Use a slow release iron supplement. The nurse told me to take Slow Fe I believe (I'll double check when I get home). I haven't had any constipation issues and I've been taking it for a little over a month.
@givemepenguinss yes! My short (3/4 mile) work to and from work every day leaves me feeling completely dead. I can't do anything for a sustained amount of time without feeling dizzy and tired and weak.
@elenabrent - I felt like that with my first pregnancy. I could barely walk around the block towards the end without getting winded and overdone. I feel your pain.
Headaches. Acid reflux. Peeing constantly. Hip pain. Back pain. My husband said I am like goldilocks. I have to try all of the chairs before I can get comfortable. She is getting all up in my ribs now. And nesting!!
The past couple of weeks I've had major gas bubbles up near my rib area. It is PAINFUL. It's just one thing after another. I am happy to report that my feet have gone back down to normal foot size - for now.
Is non-stop b!tch face a symptom? Frustrated crying? How about severe lack of f**ks? On a positive note my midwife officially recommends drinking 4oz of wine 2-3 times a week after the 30 week mark as well as eating dark chocolate, dates, and pineapple regularly. Apparently life should be all about the oxytocin from now on. Massages, chiropractor visits, and acupuncture also highly recommended. The symptoms suck, but I'm really liking doctor's orders for easing them...
I wasn't sure if this post belonged here or on Monday bitchfest.
Nesting in full force all weekend! The good part is that I feel so productive and ready to bring baby stuff into our space. The bad part is that I'm exhausted. Haven't been sleeping well because I can't sleep on my right without baby digging into my right ribcage, and then my left gets sore because it's the only place I can sleep. I'm sick of feeling dizzy and like I'm going to pass out. I am sick of feeling a gross combination of nauseous and hungry every morning that I have to work. I don't feel like this at home - why only at work? I wish I didn't have to go to work anymore. I don't know how I'm going to make it for two more months. I feel good when I'm home and I can pace myself and put my feet up. But at work, I'm a nurse and patients depend on me and I'm running around dehydrated all day long and am generally miserable. I'm in awe of all the women I work with that have done this before me.
@noelietrex I've never heard that but those recommendations sound pretty amazing. Especially wine and pineapple since my doc told me not to eat any pineapple when it was all I wanted first tri!
I got my first "are you sure there aren't twins in there?" comment today. Also, everyone who asks me my due date gives me the major raised eyebrows when I say I still have two months to go. Way to make a pregnant lady feel huge guys. Doesn't help that all over pain has majorly increased my waddling.

@noelietrex I think I love your midwife. I have heard that eating 6 dates a day the last 4 weeks of pregnancy can make labor go more smoothly. I'm a little worried about how I'm going to fit that many dates into my diet, but I'm willing to try anything at this point. Perhaps they'll replace the 1/2 banana in my morning smoothie.
ETA: My midwife is comfortable with 3oz wine/day after 30 weeks. I'm not going that far, but it makes me feel a lot better about the occasional glass.
Re: May Symptoms Thread
Must clean all the things! Which in turn makes me exhausted.

For those that are allowed to drink wine. I am insanely jealous. I feel like a little wine would make me feel a little better lol
That is all
