Hit a new low tonight shit my pants while vomiting pregnancy plus bad cold is a bad combo on the plus side I am now watching parks and rec in the tub eating crazy bread from little Caesars it's the little things
If I don't a nap I get ridiculously tired and start behaving like a drunk person; stumbling, running into walls, no coherent sentences, dropping things. Pregnancy is totally bats*** and I want to be able to human again.
@Lindsayleigh1989 omgggg you poor thing ❤️❤️❤️ Haha. I'm so glad you are watching the funniest show and eating the best food - bread in a relaxing bath.
@ButterMyBiscuit it's my staple drink lately.

I have done the puke/shit/piss combo and I SO feel your pain. I am the BIGGEST fan of crazy bread, though, so I'm totally jealous of that part!
@ButterMyBiscuit it takes me FOREVER to get ready in the morning because I have to sit down so much. I shower take a 10 min break then blow dry then a 15 min break then straighten my hair. No one has time for that.

You're absolutely right. I'm always late as it is..I do NOT have time to sit and breathe. Yeezus.
@mckcak23 Haha. Blow drying your hair. Aren't you fancy. Not happening here. Good thing I'm a SAHM, but I still think I'd be rocking the ponytail if I was at work. I don't feel good enough to care. I would like someone to clean my house though. The bathtub is changing colors. Eek.
@whataboutscience that is me SOOO fancy... that or I made a mistake a few weeks ago and got a hair cut and the lady got scissor happy and my hair wont all go back into a ponytail anymore. I'm trying to grow it out to be able to rock a complete ponytail by the time im in labor.
My mom is driving me crazy. My DS2 is potty training and he's all good with peeing on the potty but has a serious aversion to pooping there. We're trying a few different things but it's taking a little time. And he's been going through a phase of not wanting to go to bed (shocking for a 2 YO, I know) so there have been a lot of time outs and crying at bedtime recently.
My mom told me that she's sure DS has a hyperactivity disorder that's keeping him for settling down at night and some sort of mental health issue because he won't poop on the potty consistently so I should probably "take him to talk to a child psychologist to nip his problems in the bud."
Um, excuse me? He's two. So what if he's not fully potty trained yet? It's not like he's 7 and can't use the potty. And I seem to remember my brother being completely unwilling to go to bed from ages 2 - 4 and sleeping on the hallway floor and I don't remember her taking him for "help". I am by no means opposed to seeking intervention or counseling for children when needed but he is having age appropriate challenges that are completely normal. Get a grip mother!

Sorry for the extremely long rant.
oh, dear! All totally normal! Just a thought, do you think your son's bed time needs to be adjusted? My DD was doing similar things around that age and then did way better once we adjusted bed time to be a little later.
STM and I went to Target and got the baby registry "welcome bag". I felt kind of like a scam artist b/c it's my 2nd but I never got one with my first. That's my justification LOL I'm super excited about the Avent bottle!
@mckcak23 They didn't ask to confirm my registry, but the chick giving me the scan gun did stare at my belly and incredulously ask how far along I was (16 weeks Thursday and no discernable bump).

I went to Motherhood for something at 20 weeks pregnant with my first and they asked me if I was buying a gift. I think if we can't assume large women are pregnant, we shouldn't assume the small ones aren't... ha.
@MotherOfDucks and @Nerdchild my coworkers keep asking me where my baby is. It's beginning to get awkward-- l promise y'all I'm not lying now stop asking me why I have no bump and making me feel weird about it..
I mean what nonpregnant person pretends to be pregnant to get a gift bag or as an excuse to buy maternity clothes ?! Haha
@MotherOfDucks it's that joke, 'When do you ask a stranger about her pregnancy? Not unless you can actually see the baby emerging from her body at that very second'.
@HMcDade1 My boss, who I hadn't seen since before Thanksgiving until the first week of the New Year due to her surgery, nervously asked me how I was doing when she saw me during the work meeting last week. Then (when I assured her everything was fine) wanted me to show her my belly, laughed and said 'Now you just look like the rest of us after a big meal'.
I imagine before long we will all be wishing we were not waddling around very, very obviously pregnant. Lol

I know! When I told my husband about people being weird about it he says well, do you want to look pregnant? I always say well yeah a little, just cute pregnant not questionably more fat size as I am now. Ha!
@quartz02 His bedtime issues are partly our own doing. Because of our work schedules his bedtime is not always consistent so that's part of the problem. We're working on planning the days we work late better so we can have more consistency and I think that will help. He goes to bed pretty late for a 2 yo already and I think sometimes the problem is he's overtired. We'll figure it out sooner or later!
@silvers626seriously, bed time can be THE.WORST. My DH is a coach so sometimes game nights during the week throw off our bed time routine, too. Life happens! We can't plan for everything. Kids are resilient so just do the best you can and try not to stress yourself out.
@ButterMyBiscuit Here is my lame cop-out; My armor is at the cleaners and I am not prepared for the wk's today. If someone came to defend her use of gender my eyeballs might roll out of my head and onto the floor.
I'm more concerned with the fact that people feel strange saying sex.... Seriously. It's not a dirty word. Sex. Let's use it in a sentence "I'm not going to find out the sex of my baby."
Is it bad that I don't really give a crap if you say gender or sex at this point? Actually, ignore that question; I will restate: I don't really give a crap at this point. Yes, it's incorrect to say gender when talking about the body parts, but whatevs. It's funny how it bugs different people differently. (Which is weird bc every misspelling or grammar error makes me cringe, but for some reason this doesn't bother me as much.)
Sure. Tell that to someone who doesn't identify with their sex. If we don't educate people on the difference, they'll never learn.

Thank you, one of my trans friends still deeply, deeply struggles with his gender identity and can't continue hormone therapy because of the interference with antidepressants. It's heartbreaking. The backlash he received when coming out as trans was absolutely devastating to him as well. I can't imagine how hard it is to not match what you see in the mirror with what you feel.

If it doesn't affect your life directly, you probably don't give a crap. I do.
@Nerdchild Good point about educating people. We do that sometimes on here, but probably not as much as we could on this topic.
Also, some people believe that sex determines gender, so they may not see the difference.
That was my comment about educating people. If we don't "give a crap" and stop telling people the difference, they'll still keep using the term incorrectly.
